Where to Live if . . .

by Jack

Hot off the wires, Tijuana, Mexico is the best place in the world to live, if you thrive on violence or if you want to be murdered.  Yep, this is your kind of city and its just minutes away from California and our much safer cities.

But, it doesn’t stop there, Mexico has 4 of the top 5 most violent cities on the planet!  What an achievement, eh?  They can also claim title to having 15 of the cities listed in the top 50 most violent anywhere.

Next, Trump is adamant about providing a secure border and the democrats are just as determined to undermine anything he wants, i.e., blocking funding for border protection.  It doesn’t matter if its a good idea, no, that has nothing to do with it.  This is raw politics and they would rather burn in Hades than to let Trump score one for America.   Besides the 2020 election is coming around and they need to do whatever it takes to marginalize Trump.

So do you think Trump is right, that we do have a crisis on the border?  The US Border Patrol, I.C.E. and many, many, law enforcement agencies say YES, there’s a crisis on the Southern border!  Besides the usual petty criminals, drug smugglers, human traffickers and caravans of God knows who, all trying to sneak in, now we’ve got this new trend,  dumping poor Mexican kids on our side for us to care for…and by their own parents or relatives who don’t want them.   Of course this all translates into the mainstream media as, “Trump Divides Families on the Border.”

Yeah, that’s right,  Trump can’t win and neither can we.  Too many low information voters believe the fake-news over their own experts in law enforcement, people who are out there on the border, on the streets every day, who see exactly what’s going on and who tell us over and over,”Yes, we DO have a crisis on border!”

They tell us they are being overwhelmed the gangs, the busloads of illegals arriving every day; they are inundated by the crime and the left is in total denial.   Isn’t that great?

You know why  the left has such stupid and reckless opinions about illegal immigration?

I believe it’s because they do not have to live with the consequences!  That’s right, there’s a very good chance that the lunatic libs will NOT be murdered by an illegal.  Most of them will NOT be displaced by an illegal taking their job, although many thousands on the lower rung will.  Most of them will NOT be mugged or  raped by an MS13 gang member because they don’t live in those areas – they are safe in their own neighborhoods from the blood and guts in the barrio.  So, they can go right on talking HORSESH–, because they will never have to pay the price or be held accountable for their idiocy.

And yet every day, an innocent citizen does pay the price for illegal immigration and this gets rationalized away by the far left as oh you are just paranoid or a bigot or some stupid thing like that!

This nation is teetering dangerously and if we don’t make smart moves real soon, you can kiss this sweet America adios.

TheDonald would not have had to make an emergency declaration for the border wall funding in the first place if Clowngress had DONE THEIR JOBS DECADES AGO!!!!!!!!!

  2. Chris says:

You don’t think members of border patrol or ICE might have a vested financial interest or skewed perspective in saying that illegal immigration is a “crisis?” How many cops have spent years advocating for the drug war and its draconian measures? How many do you think were adamant about prohibition? I could have sworn conservatives used to say that government workers might sometimes make bad arguments in favor of keeping their jobs…

And are you really arguing that conservatives are more likely to be killed by an illegal immigrant than a liberal? That doesn’t even make sense.

    • Post Scripts says:

Chris and of course you are welcome to that point of view. However, I certainly don’t agree. To think that law enforcement as a whole is lying about a border crisis in order to get what, what’s the pay-off for them anyway? Do they get a raise or something for having a secure border? Border security and is what it is… border security. What if they were airline pilots demanding safer airplanes because 1 in 10 keep crashing. Would you be as quick to think they are all lying just to get shinny new planes?

As for the comment on the war on drugs and draconian measures… ha! Since when? There’s never been a war on drugs and we’ve never taken draconian measures…whatever that means. Chris you’re just fishing and nobody is going to bite on this one, it’s too preposterous.

      • Chris says:

“There’s never been a war on drugs”

        This is a ridiculous falsehood.

        • Post Scripts says:

Not ridiculous at all…. from my perspective.

When I was working dope as a narcotics officer of course we heard all that political hot-air about a “war on drugs” and we thought it was almost funny because we were the troops in the field actually doing the fighting and if this was a war, it was the most tepid war in history. We were always outnumbered, always and out gunned. The legal system, from the lawmakers to the court, seemed amazingly un-helpful…the war was like a bad joke.

Too often it wasn’t about justice, it was just us.

It was also a struggle against legal technicalities. You miss something minor and it could get the crook sprung. That part was incredibly frustratingly, but not to the criminal who beat the system. He laughed at us. He had no rules, he had lots of money, lots of helpers, lots of everything.

Yes Chris, I really was in the trenches fighting every day and for years and I can honestly say the war on drugs was a big hoax. There was no winning, not even an attempt to win – just us fighting against the odds and without backup. Nobody every came help us, we just did the best we could with what we had and it was never enough. We were just good enough to make the occasional big bust, but we were never fighting to win anything.

I am telling you the gospel truth, the politicians made big promises, but they never delivered. What we had was not enough to even maintain status quo, we were falling behind. Now you tell me how is that a war? How can anyone claim there a war on drugs or anything else without funding, manpower, equipment and a political will to win?

          • Chris says:

No one ever said it was a well-run war. You’re hitting on one part of the problem—that it was always unwinnable—but you’re ignoring the other side, which is that in the meantime, a lot of people have suffered for crimes that didn’t really harm anyone. Demanding more resources to arrest and imprison such people is something many police have done for a long time, and I don’t see the honor in that. So forgive me if I don’t immediately treat the claims of some in ICE or border patrol that there is an immigration crisis they are desperately needed to fight as inherently credible.

The sheriffs, Angel Moms and Dads and AG Barr who attended Trump’s signing the veto believe we have a crisis at our border. The Liberal media cut away when Barr and the sheriffs spoke so their viewers didn’t hear what they had to say. Here is what Barr said, for those who missed it.

New AG Bill Barr has Trump’s back at veto signing: This is ‘exactly the kind of emergency that presidents are permitted to address’:

Sheriff Hodgson: ‘The President is the first person who has taken action’:

“I have been a sheriff for 21 years. I’ve been dealing with Congress for 21 years with immigration. A lot of people have listened over 21 years, but you’re the first person who’s taken action…You are giving the American people back what they deserve, which is to be protected.”

    https://thebl.com/politics/sheriff-hodgson-the-president-is-the-first-person-who-has-taken-action.html

    • Chris says:

“Angel moms” is emotional, racist propaganda. Do you believe grieving parents are the best people to listen to when crafting gun control policy? No. So why do you use grieving parents when their children were killed by illegal immigrants? That is entirely hypocritical.

      • Harold says:

“America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand. ~ Harry S Truman”. There was a time when even a democrat understood that much.

I do not see hypothetical in your statement, what I and anyone read is loaded with leftist political bias.

A gun is not the problem, a killer will find a rock if need be. The anti gun group is only wanting to take away the rights of gun ownership. Under the current system Government needs to do a better job, again!

However the the grieving parents of children (as well as adults) being killed by illegals are wanting the Government to actual preform their basic job, and that is protecting the citizens of this country.

No illegal should be residing here or enjoy the benefits of America without going through the process of obtaining citizenship, period.

        • Post Scripts says:

          Well said Harold.

        • Chris says:

Your entire position on immigration is based in fear, Harold.

A gun is not the problem, a killer will find a rock if need be.

Yes, and by the same logic, anyone who really wants to come here will find a way to get here.

However the the grieving parents of children (as well as adults) being killed by illegals are wanting the Government to actual preform their basic job, and that is protecting the citizens of this country.

Citizens are in much greater danger of being killed by other citizens than by illegal immigrant. So this statement in no way makes a meaningful distinction between irrational fears of guns and irrational fears of illegal immigrants.

  4. Peggy says:

    “Houston we have a problem.”

Retention rate is so low thousands of Border Patrol agent positions are unfilled because of constant turnover vacancies.

Trump ordered the Border Patrol to hire more agents, but instead, it’s losing them:

“The Border Patrol, part of Customs and Border Protection and its parent agency, the Department of Homeland Security, more than doubled its recruitment budget from $432,775 in fiscal year 2015 to $1,019,182 in 2016 and $1,019,940 in 2017. The bolstered recruitment efforts were effective. Applications increased and training sped up.

Improvements cut the average time from a job announcement closing to deployment of an agent from 628 days to 274 days. In the first half of 2018, the Border Patrol hired nearly double the number of agents it brought on over the same period in 2017.

But it wasn’t enough to keep up with departures.

In 2017, the Border Patrol posted a net loss of nearly 400 agents.

That left staffing at almost 7,000 below Trump’s target.

CBP officials say that low pay — the starting salary is $52,583 — and postings in remote, undesirable locations make retention hard.

Unemployment is also at a 10-year low. That also makes it harder to recruit and retain agents, said Doris Meissner, a former Immigration and Naturalization Service director who now works at the Migration Policy Institute.

CBP faces competition from other branches of the federal government. Last year, 39 percent of Border Patrol agents who quit left to go work for another federal agency.

  5. Libby says:

Why don’t you see things that might tip a person off as to some bias in the report. If a “Citizens’ Council for Public Security and Criminal Justice” is based in Mexico, and finds that Mexican cities are the most dangerous, well, doesn’t that suggest to you an agenda … something worth looking into.

And if you find that the “Citizens'” have no web presence of their own … that’s odd. You can call me paranoid, now, cause I smell the CIA.

The report was posted at: http://www.seguridadjusticiaypaz.org.mx. And you know, it looks like the CIA.

    • Post Scripts says:

Libby, the report findings were widely reported by many in the investigative media and further its findings concur with other statistical data. So I didn’t feel it was necessary to second their report or suspect a hidden agenda. This time just took the report on face value, maybe you can find something wrong with it and report back? If you can, I will gladly post it on page one.

      • Libby says:

“… the report findings were widely reported by many in the investigative media …”

Which is, considering the somewhat obscure nature of the source, another reason to suspect a plant. It would not be the first time that our national security apparatus set out to manipulate the media … it’s just something to be aware of.

I’m trying to get you to recognize when your buttons might be being pushed.

  6. Libby says:

“… and by their own parents or relatives who don’t want them.”

This is hateful, savage, and a lie, and I told you to knock it off. I’m sick and tired of your efforts to demonize these people. It’s transparently bigoted, disgusting, degrading to your own self, and resonates with NO ONE, buy your fellow bigots.

    • Post Scripts says:

Libby, stop it, enough is enough you are getting out of control. Before you start calling me or anyone else here a bigot or racist, do a little homework so you won’t look so ill informed and foolish. Here’s an article that should help your comprehension, click here. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2014/06/03/fema-called-in-to-manage-crisis-of-children-being-dumped-illegally-over-border-with-mexico-n1846937 Or try this one. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2014/06/child-migrants-surge-unaccompanied-central-america/

      • Libby says:

You are not permitted to be so willfully blind. Nobody quarrels with the fact that unaccompanied minors are being sent to the U.S.

There is no basis, however, in fact, for YOUR assessment of the parental motivations behind this. It’s a lie. It’s a hateful lie … the purpose of which is to demonize immigrants generally.

I am not going to stop pointing this out … until you STOP DOING IT !!

        • Post Scripts says:

Libby what you accuse me of doing you are doing! Don’t you see that? You accuse me of willful blindness and my assessment of the parents is without any basis. DUMPING OF CHILDREN is prima faci, it is EVIDENCE ON ITS FACE! Dumping children on the border of a foreign country is wrong. How can the Mexican people not see how wrong this practice is? How can any thinking, concerned person rationalize doing this? I am not the villain here Libs. Think of those kids Libby, dumping them on the border is just terrible! Rather than to get mad at me you should be directing your anger and outrage where it will do some good. Stand up and tell your liberal pals this is wrong and send a message to Mexico DON’T DO IT! ITS MONSTROUSLY WRONG.

          • Libby says:

Dumping is YOUR word, Jack. No one else’s. And it is derogatory.

Further, you refuse to acknowledge the true motivations for sending unaccompanied children to the U.S. Being 1) enlisted, or 2) butchered by a drug gang … this is NOT a fate to be avoided? Is this what you say?

I, myself, would like to see the parents organize themselves to eradicate the corruption in their countries. If they can muster the fortitude to organize their child’s escape to a foreign country, you’d think they could do the other. But that would be asking them to risk a grisly death, which is asking a lot.

So if they want to send their children here, I’m not going to fault them for it. And I’m not going to let you spew hateful right-wing propaganda on them.

An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a colleague
who was doing a little research on this. And he in fact ordered me dinner because I found it for him…
lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!!
But yeah, thanks for spending some time to talk about this subject here on your website.
