A Blunt Look at Dems V Reps

by Jack (inspired by Tina and Libby…thank you both!)

constitution_2As you know the Republican Party was begun by Abraham Lincoln and it was the ONLY party of the time that championed the abolition of slavery. Democrats were the ONLY party that defended slavery. A few decades later it was the Republican Party that championed w omens right to vote (suffrage) – And once again Democrats were on the opposing side. Now let me list some other differences below.

Republicans fear that the government has too much control over corporations. Democrats fear that corporations have too much control over our government. Okay, that’s fairly close..but you’ll never go wrong by limiting government! Limited gov = more freedom!

Democrats believe it benefits all of us to help the weakest and the poorest among us and that wealth sharing (robbing the rich to give to needy and greedy alike) is a legit means to that end. Republicans believe it benefits all of us when businesses thrive and people can rise to their full potential as creative, hard working entrepreneurs who create jobs and bring us the best in low cost, high quality products. Our car manufacturers were once the best in the world, but thanks to unions and costly over regulation, many went bankrupt and lots of good jobs were lost.

Republicans DO NOT believe large corporations will always do what is best for the American people if the government stays out of the way. Only a fool would think that. This is a myth 100% created by Democrats. Republicans at NO time have ever approved of corporations having unlimited power or becoming a monopoly that stifles free trade and competition. The Republican Hand Book as early as 1904 goes to great lengths to explain the difference between over-penalizing, over-regulating laws and laws that limit corporations from having undue influence and other ills. Democrats on the other hand are more emotion and less pragmatic. They tend to believe large corporations would disembowel you and sell your organs to the highest bidder if the government didn’t stop them! That is absurd as it is stupid, but many Democrats will swear its true.

Democrats believe everyone is entitled to health care regardless of their ability to pay and they are prepared to take the money from those who have wealth and use it to subsidize those who don’t, regardless of the reasons. Democrats don’t seem to be able to tell the difference between those who need a hand up and those who need a kick in the pants. Republicans DO recognize there are serious defects in the US healthcare system, but they also recognize a turn towards socialized medicine would damage the national economy and produce a healthcare system that is sub par compared to today’s standards. So, they seek to find a way to close loop holes to provide private, affordable health insurance to those currently in the gap, they are making too much money to be covered welfare and too little money to pay for private health insurance. Republicans have come up with many good healthcare plans that Democrats never let come out of committee.

Democrats believe too much of our money goes to crooked corporate executives who take government subsidies and pay themselves $80 million salaries. They are probably right too. But, Republicans don’t like that either..who does? Republicans are accused of being tougher on school teachers than corporate pirates, but its a lie and it’s another lie that they think too much of our tax money goes to teachers who make $30,000 a year. Sure, they DO believe that top heavy school systems and overpaid bureaucrats have impeded creativity and personal initiative and have virtually stolen money destined for the kids. They also see our finite tax dollars being wasted on too many incompetent teachers protected by unions. Republicans would rather spend tax money at the classroom level and on good teachers who need it and could put it to much better use. They like the idea of competition among schools to turn out a better product.

Democrats believe anything that helps the American people during a recession or a time of crisis is the true essence of patriotism, even if it’s pure socialism. Republicans believe anything that increases our indebtedness during a time of recession prolongs our misery and weakens the nation’s economy. They see no good coming from printing paper money in the trillions with nothing to back it up. They fear it risks inflation, weakens savings accounts for the individuals and runs up national debt that we can ill afford. Democrats don’t get it – they give themselves an unlimited line of credit and hope the bills won’t come due until they are dead and gone.

Democrats believe that we need to set the world’s highest standards for clean air and drinking water. Republicans believe we need clean and air and water too because they drink the same water and breath the same air, but they don’t want be reckless about it. They don’t think it’s necessary to draft irresponsible, draconian legislation that damages us far more than it helps us and weakens our position against the worlds competing economies.

Democrats say they believe the President and Congress need to work together to create jobs during a weak economy. That what they SAY…but not what they do. The President (democrat) digs in his heels, refuses to negotiate and place many budget items off limits even for discussion! Republicans believe that Congress should block any legislation that threatens freedom, leads to socialism and more government power and more debt. Democrats don’t see any problems here. The Republicans encourage the President to lead, but they are chagrined when he hasn’t even submitted a budget in the last 6 years he’s been in office. That’s not leadership and then he blames Republicans for gridlock.

Democrats believe that corporate polluters should be made to pay for the cleanup of their pollution, no matter how costly or unnecessary. Republicans believe that making corporations clean up their pollution is fair in almost all cases, but that purely punitive damages sometimes get so excessive it leads to bankruptcy and that serves nobody, but the lawyers doing the suing. When corporations go broke the cleanup costs are put back on the taxpayers and people suddenly lose jobs only to become another burden. Republicans think bankrupting corporations without seeking other solutions first is just plain stupid. Democrats middle name is stupid.

Democrats believe our health care system exists solely for the purpose of making people healthy, regardless of their immigration status or affordable cost. They would place the cost of this all on credit cards, rather than seek co-pay type solutions or ship the illegals out of the country. “Republicans believe our health care system exists solely for the purpose of making a healthy profit”, a total myth inspired by Sol Alinsky and the cold war propaganda. But, I threw it in because Dems actually say this !

Democrats believe high paying government salaries leads to high quality representation. They also like to segregate people of color into racial caucuses. They believe people working with their own kind can find solutions better solutions than multiracial efforts. Republicans believe in our great melting pot concept and think these that race based caucuses perpetuate the thinking along lines of color. They see this as keeping racism alive. Republicans would rather see a grass roots, citizen, based Congress and Senate and not career politicians. Republican’s embrace the grass roots like the Tea Party, Democrats embrace populism, which is quite another thing. In the latter they like people to think government knows whats best for them and then they buy their loyalty by using the people’s own money. Republicans do NOT believe corporations are the people, but they do recognize that people make up corporations!

Democrats believe that corporations have too much influence over Congress due to their lobbyists and huge campaign contributions. They should know too, because far more Democrats have been arrested for taking bribes than Republicans. Republicans believe the middle class needs more influence over Congress, but they too have been reluctant to take money out of political decisions. Both party’s are therefore guilty of allowing money undue influence and this needs to be fixed now!

Democrats believe we need to file lawsuits against corporations in order to correct some bad behaviors, but moreover it’s used to intimidate them into wealth shifting. Republicans believe we need to protect large corporations from frivolous lawsuits because we sue our jobs providers to death. They know we sue far more than any other nation in the world and it winds up costing everyone, especially the poor who can’t afford to pay even pennies more. Democrats don’t get it.

Democrats believe that the rich should be taxed until they resemble the middle class. Republicans think that steals away incentives to seek excellence and prosperity. They believe that government should get out of the way whenever possible and let people keep as much of their personal wealth as possible to spend as they see fit.

Democrats believe that too much money in politics produces corruption and destroys the American way of life. Republicans believe are ready to accept money as an undue influence and limit it’s access to politics. Again, both sides are guilty of abuses here (see above comments).

That pretty well sums our differences, although I see myself as a conservative and hope that my old GOP will return to support more of the traditional values I now embrace and our founders embraced.

Tina I borrowed heavily from the great things you say every day here and Libby…well, I’m just repeating what you say about the Republicans. There’s quite a contrast isn’t there? lol

Another Jefferson Meeting – It Keeps Getting Bigger!

by Jack

Yesterday I was this month’s guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Chico and my topic (by request) was the State of Jefferson movement. It was gratifying to see so many interested people, in fact, I’m told they had an usually high turnout.

I’m far from the most knowledgeable person on this subject and certainly nlot the best speaker, but I did what I could. For Statehood to happen it’s going to take a lot of volunteers to inform and answer questions and get the word out. So far, there’s been no shortage of volunteers in Butte County and the two counties that have already approved Statehood.

One of the most asked questions as these events is, “Can the State of Jefferson really assume all the many mandates and costly obligations we have in CA with a greatly restricted tax base?” The short answer was… yes. Most of those costly bureacratic expenses are generated by the Southern half of the state, but then so is the bulk of the tax revenue,so they’ll be fine and so will we. We have less revenue, but we also have far less obligations to meet.

As for the commerce, we have an existing infrastructure, existing businesses and we have a known amount of tax revenue generated. Based on our analysis of the counties that wish to participate, we should have more than enough tax base. And this is without altering the current taxation. However, that is not our intention because we feel we can do much better than the State of California with their hundreds of gov. agencies, committees and commissions. One of the key reasons for a new state is to reduce overhead – so we can reduce taxation!

As businesses return and grow in the North State, so does our commercial tax revenue and this lessens the burden on the individual. We estimate that from it’s inception, people of Jefferson will see about a 10% reduction in overall taxation, however this is just the start.

We have several role model states to base this tax savings on too, so we know it can be done. The bigger question is, not whether we have the money, but do we have the will to become a new state? Have we become so acclimated to paying through the nose to the State of California that we’ve just accepted this is the way it is and nothing we say or do can change it?

Well, the people I’ve met don’t believe this for an instant – they’re ready to push for a new state for however long it takes and whatever it costs, because they are convinced it will be worth. We’ll be setting a new standard of performance for how States should do business and we’ll revive freedom when we do!

Obamacare – Equal Outcome Plan to Fundamentally Transform America

Posted by Tina

The President held a summit this morning. They talked about about college tuition and how important it is to work hard to get ahead in life. One of the things they wanted to make clear is that their policies are not structured to create equal outcomes. Now I ask you…does reality match up with the outcome?

As if by divine intervention, the answer to this question arrived today in the comments section on Jack’s article, “Obamacare – The Real Story! It’s Not a Trainwreck…it’s a suicide attack”. The comment was supplied by Pie who grabbed the following personal story from “elsewhere around the web”. As I read it was clear that Obamacare sets out to equalize outcomes. And there’s the rub…

What ObamaCare is Really About

I’m a 54 year old consulting engineer and make between $60,000 and $125,000 per year, depending on how hard I work and whether or not there are work projects out there for me.

My girlfriend is 61 and makes about $18,000 per year, working as a part-time mail clerk.

For me, making $60,000 a year, under ObamaCare, the cheapest, lowest grade policy I can buy, which also happens to impose a $5,000 deductible, costs $482 per month.

For my girlfriend, the same exact policy, same deductible, costs $1 per month. That’s right, $1 per month. I’m not making this up.

Don’t believe me? Just go to http://www.coveredca.gov/ , the ObamaCare website for California and enter the parameters I’ve mentioned above and see for yourself. By the way, my zip code is 93940. You’ll need to enter that.

So OK, clearly ObamaCare is a scheme that involves putting the cost burden of healthcare onto the middle and upper-income wage earners. But there’s a lot more to it. Stick with me.

And before I make my next points, I’d like you to think about something:

I live in Monterey County, in Central California. We have a large land mass but just 426,000 residents – about the population of Colorado Springs or the city of Omaha.

But we do have a large Hispanic population, including a large number of illegal aliens, and to serve this group we have Natividad Medical Center, a massive, Federally subsidized county medical complex that takes up an area about one-third the size of the Chrysler Corporation automobile assembly plant in Belvedere, Illinois (see Google Earth View). Natividad has state-of-the-art operating rooms, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, fully equipped, 24 hour emergency room, and much more. If you have no insurance, if you’ve been in a drive-by shooting or have overdosed on crack cocaine, this is where you go. And it’s essentially free, because almost everyone who ends up in the ER is uninsured.

Last year, 2,735 babies were born at Natividad. 32% of these were born to out-of-wedlock teenage mothers, 93% of which were Hispanic. Less than 20% could demonstrate proof of citizenship, and 71% listed their native language as Spanish. Of these 876 births, only 40 were covered under [any kind of] private health insurance. The taxpayers paid for the other 836. And in case you were wondering about the entire population – all 2,735 births – less than 24% involved insured coverage or even partial payment on behalf of the patient to the hospital in exchange for services. Keep this in mind as we move forward.

Now consider this:

If I want to upgrade my policy to a low-deductible premium policy, such as what I had with my last employer, my cost is $886 per month. But my girlfriend can upgrade her policy to the very same level, for just $4 per month. That’s right, $4 per month. $48 per year for a zero-deductible, premium healthcare policy – the kind of thing you get when you work at IBM (except of course, IBM employees pay an average of $170 per month out of pocket for their coverage).

I mean, it’s bad enough that I will be forced to subsidize the ObamaCare scheme in the first place. But even if I agreed with the basic scheme, which of course I do not, I would never agree to subsidize premium policies. If I have to pay $482 a month for a budget policy, I sure as hell do not want the guy I’m subsidizing to get a better policy, for less that 1% of what I have to fork out each month for a low-end policy.

Why must I pay $482 per month for something the other guy gets for a dollar? And why should the other guy get to buy an $886 policy for $4 a month? Think about this: I have to pay $10,632 a year for the same thing that the other guy can get for $48. $10,000 of net income is 60 days of full time work as an engineer. $48 is something I could pay for collecting aluminum cans and plastic bottles, one day a month.

Are you with me on this? Are you starting to get an idea what ObamaCare is really about?

ObamaCare is not about dealing with inequities in the healthcare system. That’s just the cover story. The real story is that it is a massive, political power grab. Do you think anyone who can insure himself with a premium policy for $4 a month will vote for anyone but the political party that provides him such a deal? ObamaCare is about enabling, subsidizing, and expanding the Left’s political power base, at taxpayer expense. Why would I vote for anyone but a Democrat if I can have babies for $4 a month? For that matter, why would I go to college or strive for a better job or income if it means I have to pay real money for healthcare coverage? Heck, why study engineering when I can be a schlub for $20K per year and buy a new F-150 with all the money I’m saving?

And think about those $4-a-month babies – think in terms of propagation models. Think of just how many babies will be born to irresponsible, under-educated mothers. Will we get a new crop of brain surgeons and particle physicists from the dollar baby club, or will we need more cops, criminal courts and prisons? One thing you can be certain of: At $4 a month, they’ll multiply, and multiply, and multiply. And not one of them will vote Republican.

ObamaCare: It’s all about political power.

Obama buys power through seduction, class envy and redistribution of cash from those who work hard and have achieved to those who don’t, to those who illegally enter the country, to those who work hard but don’t have as much as other, to anyone who can be lured into taking some candy from the powerful man without realizing he has stolen their dignity, their freedom, and possibly their souls.

America was founded on principles based on freedom and the rule of law. It was also founded by men who recognized that ethics and human dignity were necessary for the preservation of a free society. America remains strong when our people are supported in living a life of dignity, personal responsibility, personal achievement…and dignity We lose our strength when we are encouraged toward avarice and covetousness. We lose our strength when our people are lured into believing that they are helpless victims. Our representatives in government have an obligation to guard against creating policies and laws that act as barriers to personal achievement and responsibility or entice citizens away from the moral obligation to provide for themselves. They have an moral obligation to avoid creating class envy and division and create policy that encourages and empowers people to achieve.

The ACA (Obamacare) is exactly the kind of policy that undermines human dignity and blunts individual achievement. It insidiously removes the natural urge in human beings to strive and reach higher. Instead it creates a sanctioned pathway for individuals to reach into the pockets of their neighbors, not just for temporary support i times of need for basic health care, but for lifelong treatment subsidized by achievers. It is an equal outcomes law. It encourages apathy. The theft that occurs from people like the man in the example above to pay for the appearance of an equal and fair outcome makes the goal a devilish cheat for both the recipient and the unwitting supplier of transferred cash.

This is not a law that produces healthcare delivered compassionately or fairly to our citizens. This is a law devised by crooks and thieves for evil self-serving purposes. It will add great heft to the destruction of our nation…and the very things that afford citizens the opportunity to achieve real dignity and experience the equality guaranteed by our constitution.

This law must be repealed!

He Has a Phone, He Has a Pen, His Agenda Comes First

Posted by Tina

The President is supposedly a Constitutional scholar. He must have become an expert just so he could better understand how to undermine the constitution because he sure as heck doesn’t respect it. Citing income inequality the President has embarked on yet another mission to create jobs. How many times has he done this to no avail? The problem is his underlying agenda comes first.

The President will run around the country, campaigning in his usual style, all blather about how much he cares about you.

President Obama visited a manufacturing company yesterday. We’re told he has said he has a pen and a phone to wield if congress doesn’t act. The tone is combative. He wants to hammer home the false assertion that Republicans in the House just aren’t willing to work with him to create jobs. What a crock! Republicans HAVE done a load of work in the House…working with Democrats to pass jobs legislation. The President has Harry Reid running blocks for him in the Senate to stop the legislation from seeing the light of day just so the President can fake frustration to the public.

The Constitution spells out the authority that the president has. Guess what? He can’t write and pass laws by himself…but that’s what he has threatened to do.

The President is an extremist by American standards. He follows the principles of Marks more closely than Jefferson. He believes a condition he has dubbed “income inequality” gives him the authority to change the American system, presumably so that incomes are “equalized,” from each according to his means (High taxes) to each according to his need (redistribution).

He has a phone. He has a pen. But he doesn’t have a clue when it comes to freedom, opportunity, and equal justice. He is willing to step on any law, cross any limitation of his constitutional powers, and destroy any remnant of our economic system to realize his socialist dream.

One of the things the President is likely to authorize with his pen, his phone (intimidation or threats to congressmen?)…or through the labor department with regulation…is a minimum wage hike. If he succeeds it will spell very bad news for the millions of Americans who cannot find work.

If we had been given a blueprint five years ago we wouldn’t have believed the outcome this guy has in mind for us. Even after four years and a lousy economy and a terrible job situation half of America still didn’t see what is unfolding. Will it begin to dawn when a million more find themselves without work and a paycheck?

They’ll turn us all into beggars ’cause they’re easier to please
They’re feeding our people that Government Cheese – Rainmakers

People don’t appreciate the things they don’t earn. It’s just human nature.

On the other hand people blossom and shine when they earn what they have.

The President should use his phone to make one call. He should do the right thing and tell Harry Reid to end the blocking game in the Senate so the American system can work and jobs bills initiated by the House can get a hearing in the Senate. That is power he currently has and it would result in improved conditions for the American people.

The President simply prefers his crushing Marxist political game to fundamentally transform America.

Update on Obama’s Wars

posted by Jack

At least 61 people were killed and scores wounded Wednesday in the latest wave of attacks in the Iraqi capital and across the country.

Bombings and shootings, aimed at security forces and civilians alike, made it an especially bloody day as sectarian violence flared up.

The United Nations said 2013 was the deadliest year in Iraq since 2008, with almost 8,000 people killed, most of them civilians. Fears of all-out sectarian war have increased since violence broke out in Anbar province in recent days.

Much of the violence recorded Wednesday was in and around Baghdad.

Twenty-two people were killed and 74 were wounded by seven car bombs and two roadside bombs that exploded in the Iraqi capital, targeting mainly Shiite areas, police said.

Shiites are really getting pounded for not seeking a peaceful compromise with Sunni’s, but when Sunni’s had them under their heel they treated them about the same.

News from the worlds largest rock pile with no particular value…. An little Afghan girl thought to be 10 years old said she was beaten by her father and brother then ordered to put on a suicide vest in an attempt to bomb a checkpoint in Helmand province.

Spozhmai told the BBC that her father and brother had beaten her before the attempted attack, which ended when a soldier spotted her wearing the garment last week and she was placed in protective custody in Lashkar Gah.

Police maintain she was forced into the attack by her brother Zahir, thought to be a prominent Taliban commander.

Other than in most Islamic countries, when and where in the history of the world was sending out a little girl to commit suicide for vengeance ever considered justifiable and ethical? The Taliban are subhuman and they deserve what’s coming.

Marijuana Hearings in Butte County – Pot Could be #1 Cash Crop

by Jack Lee

UPDATE:  OROVILLE — In an entirely unexpected move, the Board of Supervisors preliminarily passed amendments to Butte County’s marijuana cultivation ordinance Tuesday that drastically tighten restrictions on growers.

On a motion by Chico Supervisor Maureen Kirk, the board unanimously voted to limit marijuana gardens not by the number of plants but by square-footage.

Jan 15 – Today marked a close to the hearings on Butte County’s next marijuana ordinance. It was a packed house too, with a lot of citizens offering their opinions as well as professional opinions from law enforcement and the medical field.

Supervisor Larry Wahl noted that lacking guidance from either the feds or the State, the county is left to their own devices to figure out what is best for our area.

The supervisors envisioned seeking out take the best parts of their past marijuana ordinance, then take the best parts from other county pot ordinances within this state in order to make a complete ordinance. They want to seek a reasonable compromise between those folks who would just as soon see marijuana legalized, to those who want it illegal or for the compassionate use of medical marijuana , under controlled circumstances.

maryjuanaThe testimony today was generally very sensible, but none was more [enlightening] than the Butte County Sheriff’s drug enforcement unit. They said in 2013, over 3,000 grow sites were identified in Butte county by aerial surveillance. Most of these were in very remote forest areas or semi-rural areas, but some were also right in city limits.

They were overwhelmed by the sheer number of grow sites, so they focused on just 69 sites to raid for the year. These were large grows and they were easily accessed. Of those 69 grow sites, 66 were determined to be operating well outside the rules of Prop 215, thus totally illegal.

(Note my assistant posing to show the relative size of some plants) Some sites were run by out of state people and some by Mexican cartel members. Few were operated by long time residents.

Apparently Northern California marijuana has a reputation for high THC content (that provides the high) and as a result a pound that could sell here for up to $1700 could bring over $7000 on the east coast. A modest sized marijuana plant typically yields 1-1.5 pounds of dried product. Under the old Butte County ordinance of 99 plants maximum, that translates to a dollar value of about $875,000 if the product were sold for it’s max retail price. Or at the very minimum, it would be worth around $100,000

Now keep in mind, these are not big grow sites. We’re talking about 99 plants that could cover an area about the size of a building lot or even less!

The BCSO agents said the yield of usable marijuana per square foot of ground depended on many factors, such as water, fertilizer, cultivation methods, type of marijuana and of course the weather. The point being… any ordinance that relies solely on square footage to produce medical marijuana could be subject to wildly divergent crop yields and this could be exploited by a criminal element. So, the size of the ground is a factor, but it also has to be combined with other factors as noted above.

As to the type of marijuana, one plant might yield a pound on maturity, while others could yield 10 to 12 pounds and this is… dried and processed marijuana! Just putting a number on it, say no more than 99 plants at any one grow site is a bad idea. That site is going to produce far more marijuana than anyone with a medical condition could ever use, even if they smoked one joint after another, both day and night, 7 days a week and never slept the entire year – they would only consume about 3.2 pounds, yet that site could yield upwards of 900 lbs!

When it came to hearing from people in the audience, almost to a person, they wanted the county to adopt compassionate use ordinance, but they wanted to restrict it to something less than 5 or 6 plants. But, this assumes the ill person must grow it to have it and that just isn’t the case. Medical marijuana is and has been available for patients, if needed. The need to liberalize an ordinance just for compassionate use growing is not completely justifiable. Sure, it only helps those who might want to save money by growing their own, but otherwise the pot is available if needed by prescription. And for the purpose of growing, it was pointed out that 5-6 plants are more than enough for any one user. Anything beyond that is really growing for profit.

A host of people told stories about marijuana smells from neighbors stinking up their house. They also complained that growing it in a neighborhood often leads to kids getting their hands on it. A lady from Chico reported her husband is a doctor and has been seeing more and more patients smoking pot during their pregnancy and this could lead to future medical problems of a very costly nature. Others complained that it’s just one more thing that has people sliding through life, unmotivated, not learning, not growing…just being a drain on society. They say marijuana use will ruin the collective character of every place that legalizes it.

I estimated that at least 90% of the speakers at the meeting were for tightening up the county marijuana ordinance.

Well, now it’s in the hands of the supervisors and we’ll just have to wait and see. . .

The President Should be Impeached for Benghazi Deception

 by Jack Lee

“The President of the United States of America”.   Wow, it makes a tug on my heart just to say those powerful words.

He (or some day she) is supposed to be the best among us. The most honest, the most sage, courageous and the most worldly.   He is supposed to be a person of thoughtful and deliberate action.  A charismatic leader and the model of decorum that commands respect by his mere presence. He is the most powerful man in the world and his decsions, even small ones can alter lives in profound ways.

In theory we have many hurdles that are supposed to filter out those who fall short of ideal.   Our presidential candidates are vetted in the court of public opinion, something we rely heavily on every four years. But, that part can only come from knowing them as elected officials and measuring their work against their words.

So, what happened with Barack Hussein Obama?  He had no track record to speak of!   We barely knew him as a Senator before he was off and running for high office.    By the time he was nominated as the democrat’s number one candidate for president there was far more unknown than known about the man.   None of the usual digging into his past by a relentless media had occurred…they failed their duty.    Whatever leaked out about Obama only came from fringe news sources by way of the internet or from an isolated report and so that stuff never gain much traction.

For the most part, the mainstream media was riding on the Obama train.  And anyone who wasn’t was dismissed as being from the opposition’s camp or a biggot.   It was easy to crush the opposition by calling critics mere partisan hacks or racists.   It was almost too easy to minimize the critics and so we never really got to know Barack Obama before he became our president.

It was foolish and reckless to elect such an uknown as our president and why it happened is a book unto itself.

So much has happened since those early days, and for many of us, our worst fears have come fruition.

Barrack Hussein Obama, tThe President of the United States of America, has abused his authority and violated the trust of the America people.  The extravagant spending during our worst recession on personal vacations for himself and his wife is without comparison in world history.   The use of “Executive Orders” to circumvent the normal checks and balances  is also unprecedented.   But, the worst offense since Watergate has to be the [Benghazi] Incident.

In Watergate, Pres. Nixon sent a team of burglars into the democrat’s headquarters to seek evidence of illegal campaign contributions, allegedly coming from communist China.    It was done more in the name of national security than it was an act for partisan advantage, although that was most certainly a factor too.   But, the Benghazi deception had no redeeming side, it was pure politics done for personal gain.   Unlike Watergate - lives were lost in Benghazi and the American people were deliberately deceived in order for Obama to win his re-election.

Thanks to the release of top secret documents, we know the White House had clear knowledge of a preplanned terrorist attack taking place within 17 minutes of the attack starting.  And the attack lasted for many hours.  Eventually 150 or more gunmen overwhelmed the American diplomatic mission at Benghazi, in Libya, killing U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and another diplomat.   Several hours later in the early morning of the next day, a second assault targeted a nearby annex in a different compound about one mile away two embassy security personnel were killed. Ten others were injured in the attacks death.

President Obama and his staff concocted a lie and tried to sell it to the American people so this attack on anniversary of 9/11 would make his administration look innocent of incompetence. It was a bold lie carried out by his underlings, but it came into question the moment they announced it. The American people could not accept that on the anniversary of 9/11, that a random mob, angry over a 4th rate movie video about Mohammed, could coordinate two attacks, using sophisticated heavy weapons and engage in a prolonged battle with security forces. It simply didn’t make any sense and people wanted answers.

Now we know the truth – the question is what do we do about it?

This bold deception is akin to treason in my thinking, not only because they failed to protect our national sovereignty (US Embassy), but because American’s died needlessly and their deaths were then minimized by an administration seeking to escape accountability.   In the words of the Secretary of State, “What difference – at this point – what difference does it make it?’

Well, this may come as a shock to Hillary and the Obama’s, but the truth always matters to Americans and the disclosure of the Obama Administration’s treachery and deceit in the Benghazi Incident should result have serious consquences. I think it would be justice if Obama was impeached. It would bring closure to a national scandal and perhaps some small consolation to families of those who died, for they would know that we shared their outrage over this deception by a man we mistakenly placed so much trust in.
