Opinions on Conservatives Are Flat Out Wrong and Dangerous for the Country!

by Tina Grazier

I was reading a surprising piece this morning, given CNN was the source network. The title of the article, “Obama’s Foreign Policy in a Tailspin” by Frida Ghitis caught my eye because I agree with the author’s assessment on Obama’s foreign policy and because I am very concerned about what it means for America and the free world. Unfortunately I didn’t get past the fourth sentence. The focus of the article took a sharp left turn and subject change. I began to frown. My objection isn’t meant for this woman personally, but the all too familiar method. I will use her article to examine the thinking of liberal progressives generally and in media. They just don’t get what conservatives are saying…and frankly they don’t seem to care.

After setting the stage with gritty and bold assertions:

America’s foreign policy has gone into a tailspin. Almost every major initiative from the Obama administration has run into sharp, sometimes embarrassing, reverses. The U.S. looks weak and confused on the global stage.

Ms Ghitis, whose credentials are described as “…a world affairs columnist for The Miami Herald and World Politics Review. A former CNN producer and correspondent, she is the author of “The End of Revolution: A Changing World in the Age of Live Television.”, continues with a short paragraph but it has nothing to do with the Presidents failing policy. Nope! Instead she writes, “This might come as happy news to some opponents of the administration who enjoy seeing Barack Obama fail.”

Really? Is she going to use her first opportunity to explain why she believes Obama is failing to slam conservatives generally and Rush Limbaugh, who said in 2009, “I hope Obama fails,” in particular?

This woman is desperate! She is a woman longing to change the subject, to turn away from the title of her own piece! She will grasp an anything to excuse the President!

It’s unfortunate that she cares so little about the truth and so little about the state that this president has created both in and for our country. It’s also unfortunate that she has no interest in being accurate about what Rush was saying. But, she can’t afford to be curious much less accurate because she wants to believe that liberal policies are good and conservative policies are bad.She wants to believe that liberals are kind and conservatives are mean. She is deeply invested in BS.

Lets look at the wrong-headed thinking regarding Rush’s comment. We look to the man himself. We look to the full context of his (prescient) remark by going to his webpage and the full text of the monologue:

RUSH: I got a request here from a major American print publication. “Dear Rush: For the Obama [Immaculate] Inauguration we are asking a handful of very prominent politicians, statesmen, scholars, businessmen, commentators, and economists to write 400 words on their hope for the Obama presidency. We would love to include you. If you could send us 400 words on your hope for the Obama presidency, we need it by Monday night, that would be ideal.” Now, we’re caught in this trap again. The premise is, what is your “hope.” My hope, and please understand me when I say this. I disagree fervently with the people on our side of the aisle who have caved and who say, “Well, I hope he succeeds. We’ve got to give him a chance.” Why? They didn’t give Bush a chance in 2000. Before he was inaugurated the search-and-destroy mission had begun. I’m not talking about search-and-destroy, but I’ve been listening to Barack Obama for a year-and-a-half. I know what his politics are. I know what his plans are, as he has stated them. I don’t want them to succeed.

If I wanted Obama to succeed, I’d be happy the Republicans have laid down. And I would be encouraging Republicans to lay down and support him. Look, what he’s talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to the guy, “Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.” (interruption) What are you laughing at? See, here’s the point. Everybody thinks it’s outrageous to say. Look, even my staff, “Oh, you can’t do that.” Why not? Why is it any different, what’s new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it? I don’t care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: “Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.” Somebody’s gotta say it.

Rush goes on to point out that nobody finds it unusual when liberals hope Republicans fail and he’s absolutely right about that. People don’t notice and they don’t seem to mind that liberals say the most incredibly inaccurate and hateful things about republican leaders.

As it turns out Rush had good reason to be concerned and this woman should be giving him his due rather than issuing covert criticism. She should be marveling that his concerns were right on the money! Obama’s management of foreign policy and domestic policy have failed miserably! Conservative concerns about his lack of experience and his progressive policies were well founded. Obama was not prepared for the difficult job he has taken on. Unfortunately he has not grown into the job after five years either.

But progressives are not generous enough to admit that the man they love for no reason could be bad for the country. And they cannot admit that the man they have chosen to hate most, Rush Limbaugh, could have been right in 2009. They are not honest enough to admit that their assumptions about what he was saying were flat out wrong. His remarks were not racist, or mean spirited, or even non-supportive. His remarks were not about Obama at all but about his policies and politics. Rush’s remarks were about his heartfelt concern and fears for our nation.

The next paragraph is a return to the subject:

America’s failure in international strategy is a disaster-in-the-making for its allies and for the people who see the U.S. model of liberal democracy as one worth emulating in their own nations.

Notice it is “America’s failures and, once again, this Obama sycophant cannot place the responsibility squarely at the feet of the one person in charge. In the next breath, so to speak, she makes a back handed slap at the previous administration:

There is no question that Obama was dealt a difficult hand.

He came to office after America’s international standing was battered by the unpopular Iraq war launched by George W. Bush. Since then, countless events outside of Washington’s control have presented the White House with options ranging in many cases from bad to worse, and problems that had no good solution.

1. America’s standing was mainly “battered” by leftist journalists and pundits that wanted to destroy George W. Bush! People like her, who from even before he took office, did all in their power to destroy him and his presidency!

2. George Bush was respected by both his allies and his enemies. George Bush could be counted on by his allies and his enemies. George Bush ended his presidency having kept terrorists from successfully hitting America at home, having brought Iraq to stability with a democracy in place, having brought Al Qaida to near ruin, and having handed his predecessor a manageable starting position. George Bush did all in his power to welcome the first family to the White House and offer President Obama a smooth transition to begin his presidency! The same courtesy was not given to George Bush as he entered the presidency!

3. George Bush not only faced “countless events outside of his control” just as Obama and all presidents do, he faced them having to also deal with relentless, pounding criticism and efforts to undermine his (hands-on) management of the war from our leftist media and the political opposition.

Responsibility is not the strong suit with liberal progressives.

Four paragraphs of dallying later the author returns to her subject. But is anyone concerned enough about the failures to continue. Once she moves on from pointing fingers at Republicans does any progressive care? Isn’t it they who find it necessary to throw deadly slings and arrows and isn’t it because they refuse to address the fundamental problem…that liberal polices and methods are a disaster and Obama’s foreign and domestic polices have failed spectacularly? Isn’t it impossible for liberals to admit that republicans might just have some ideas that do work and are better overall for the country? Isn’t it true that Republican policies are not designed to hurt people but to work for all concerned?

Ms Ghitis, the President, and progressive liberals all could take this opportunity to better unite the country and set America on a path to strength and growth. They could take the high road and admit they have made mistakes. Sadly, I don’t think they have the courage. Ghitis ends her article thus:

Obama’s supporters and his critics should hope he can pull America forward.

“Hope”, half of nObamas signature slogan in the first election and, “forward,” the thrust of Obama’s second campaign slogan is a call, whether consciously intended or not, for more of the same.

Why did this woman bother to write this piece? She hasn’t learned a thing; not about Obama’s failures and not about the opposition’s motives and concerns.

As long as progressives are allowed to get away with this brick wall attitude toweard conservatives this country hasn’t a prayer…not for unity of purpose, not for success at home or abroad, and certainly not for our standing in the world!

Bill Whittle Video; Why We Dropped the Bomb

Submitted by Peggy in comments:

Jon Stewart, “War Criminals; The True Story of the Atomic Bombs”

Jon Stewart gets his facts wrong about America’s use of the Atomic bomb in World War 2. Should Harry Truman have been prosecuted as a war criminal? Whittle takes you back to those fateful days and tells you the facts about the history altering decisions to drop two Atomic bombs on Japanese cities.

Originally broadcast on May 7, 2009, PJTV brings this classic Afterburner out of the vault for the anniversary of atomic bombings against the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

IRS Still Targeting Conservative Groups

Posted by Tina

In testimony before a House Ways and Means Committee hearing an unidentified IRS agent informed committee members that the IRS is continuing to target conservative groups “because the agency has yet to come up with new guidance on how to judge the tax status of the groups.”

Why do the agency need new guidance to judge tax status? Shouldn’t the guides that determine the tax status of other groups be sufficient…not to mention fair and even handed?

Apparently, not.

Instead, the paperwork for Tea Party and other conservative groups are sent to “secondary screening, political advocacy” just as they were before the agency was ordered to end the BOLO (Be On the Look Out) scrutiny.

The acting head of the IRS, Danny Werfel has indeed said that the BOLO list had been “suspended”

Hmmm…I don’t like that choice of words much. Suspended indicates a possibly temporary status. The BOLO targeting could, in other words, be reinstated at any time.

This is outrageous. It should anger every American.

The medias paltry coverage of this scandal and others is a second betrayal and it too should anger all Americans.

Wow….Silver Spikes!

by Jack

It’s been less than two days since I served notice on PS about silver prices being over sold and ready for a correction and eventually a long climb upward into 2014. Today, silver lept 4%, not bad for a one day gain! In the last five years I have given 10 market alerts on stocks or trends and todate I have yet to miss. it could happen, but I’m very careful when I give advice to anyone on PS and that extra caution is why I’m 10 for 10. The typical return on a predication has been around 5% short term. Historically only taken about 2-3 days to hit, sometimes it’s been in 24 hours. Silver was my best precious metals prediction so far.   I took profits today at 12:30 PST under the theory we may see some pull back in the coming days. I will be buying silver again when I see the chart indicators lining up, but for now I’m happy to take the money and sit on the sidelines. Silver has plenty of upside for the long haul, but I like to work the channels and maximize my investment. I also turned a quick buck on PXLW. Yesterday when it spiked 34% on irrational reasons, I decided to short this stock near the close of trading and today I took some hefty profits just before the open. Wasn’t as much profit as silver, but it was decent.

Obamacare Nighmare Continues

Posted by Tina

The march toward universal healthcare got a power boost today when several large insurance carriers opted out of the government mandated insurance exchange under Obamcare:

(CNSNews.com) – Major health insurance companies–Blue Cross, Aetna, United, Humana–have decided not to participate in various states in the Obamacare health-insurance exchanges that will be the only place Americans will be able to buy a health insurance plan using the federal subsidies authorized under the Obamacare law.

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (AKA Obamacare), every American must buy a health insurance plan that meets minimum government specifications. If a person does not get health insurance through their employer, and is not on Medicaid, they can buy insurance through their home state’s insurance exchange (which, depending on the state, will be run by either the state or federal government).
States will also operate exchanges where small businesses can buy health-insurance plans.

Individuals and families making up to 400 percent of the federal poverty level will qualify for a federal subsidy to help them buy their government-mandated insurance–but only if they buy their insurance on the government-run exchange.

What an incredibly unfair mess! I heard some progressive mouthpiece this morning defending this piece of crap legislation by completely ignoring and dismissing all of the people for whom this bill will place great hardship. The brain dead freak was a brick wall covered in bumper stickers. She was completely unable to engage in a conversation.

Other news this morning about O’bummercare…the HHS has announced that the government sponsored co-ops, meant to provide an alternative choice to private sector insurance, may run out of money:

Most of the 24 health care co-ops created under Obamacare are in danger of running out of money before they even begin offering health insurance to consumers, according to the Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services.

The 24 nonprofits, intended to create competition for private insurance companies, are funded by a $2 billion loan program authorized by Obamacare to cover their startup costs. The co-ops are expected to become self-sustaining and repay their loans with interest.

But 11 of the 16 co-ops the IG reviewed said they expect startup costs to exceed what they received from the Department of Health and Human Services via the loans, and none of those reviewed by the IG have enough private support to fund them once they’re up and running, even though private support was one of the criteria for preference during the loan award process.

According to this article this terrible news might be topped by investigations into fraud and abuse within some of these co-ops:

…extensive evidence of financial mismanagement, conflicts of interest, failure to file required tax returns, inadequate capitalization and evasion of public disclosure requirements such as the federal Freedom of Information Act.

A recent Examiner survey found, for example, that all but one of the 24 co-ops failed to file required tax returns, and several may invoke a highly questionable loophole allowing them to avoid doing so in the future.

Even more troubling, two of the co-op loans were awarded to organizations headed by individuals with questionable backgrounds, the Examiner has learned, including an insider trading conviction and a history of child sexual abuse.

Chicago politics to the MAX!

A new report by WMDT (News outlet serving Maryland and Delaware and Virginia) indicates that healthcare premiums could rise from 100% to 400% next year (video at link):

“The estimated increases would be tied to the cost of implementing the new regulations, taxes, fees, and mandates in the health care reform law,” the anchor says. “The average increase is expected to be about 100 percent and could be as high as 400 percent, according to a report released on Monday.”

“Who cares…Obamacare is wonderful!” So shout the idiot supporters of this expensive, complex, unfair, destroyer of the American health care industry.

And let us not forget, the President intervened, personally, so that Congressional staffers would not be subjected to those rising premiums and can keep their gold plated plan:

…President Obama just gave Congress its very own Obamacare waiver.

Obamacare includes a provision that should cost each member of Congress and each staffer $5,000 to $11,000 per year. Needless to say, the ruling class was not pleased.

Congress wasn’t about to try to exempt itself from this provision explicitly, though. If John Q. Congressman voted to give himself an Obamacare waiver that his constituents don’t get, he wouldn’t be John Q. Congressman much longer. What’s an aristocrat to do?

On July 30, I predicted that, even though he had no authority to do so, President Obama would waive that provision at taxpayers’ expense. On August 1, he ignobly obliged the aristocracy by decreeing we peasants give each member and staffer $5,000 or $11,000, depending on whether they want self-only or family coverage.

Read the entire article it’s an eye popper!

Time for the serfs to storm the castle!

Obama Suggests Phasing Out Fannie and Freddie

by Tina Grazier

Politicians on both sides of the aisle have talked about getting rid of mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for some time. Legislation has already been written. Enter President Obama suggesting that we “phase out” Fannie and Freddie…you’d think he just dreamed that idea up:

“For too long, these companies were allowed to make huge profits buying mortgages, knowing that if their bets went bad, taxpayers would be left holding the bag.”

It would be easier to swallow this slam if he’d bothered to mention the corruption at the top of these entities carried out by Democrats of the Clinton era…instead, by implication he suggests they were overseen by evil private sector nobodies…people without political ties or agenda driven motivations.

The President continues:

Private capital should take a bigger role in the mortgage market — I know that sounds confusing to folks who call me a socialist.”

Confusing? Not at all! You will propose something that sounds good but behind the scenes you will regulate for control and screw up the private banking system even more than you have already with Dodd/Frank!

Private capital, local banks and mortgage lenders, should have been making the majority of loans all along. They should also have been free to determine the conditions under which they would lend and the level of risk their banks would take. If you want to propose something that would surprise conservatives surprise us with simple regulation of the banking industry and set them free to make decisions that will keep their banks afloat and their customers happy. Look for ways to encourage some of those minority kids in college to become bankers and give them incentives to put their banks in minority neighborhoods. Give them incentives to lend to entrepreneurs who want to start businesses in those neighborhoods. That’s how America was built…that’s how America works!

The socialist president, however, will not consider such a “radical” idea. He is an organizer for po folk and can’t let anything resembling freedom and ownership, prosperity and wealth building happen in minority communities. (And what a shame…he has the talent to lead local communities to prosperity if he would embrace the American ideals that made this country great!)

Mr. President you are definitely full of anything but surprises by now. Those of us that have observed your methods know exactly what you will do. You do not believe in merit; you believe in redistribution. Your preferred system attempts to manage so that the unwilling and unmotivated get the same rewards as those who work, strive, and save. Yours is a terrible way to inspire strength and productivity in our citizens.

The administration has already proposed, and may already be carrying out, regulations that undermine private lenders and compromise their ability to make loans and keep their doors open. These regulations will force banks to risk more than is financially prudent. Keep in mind that it isn’t just the JP Morgan Chases of the world that will be forced to comply. It will be the small bankers in every community. If it sounds familiar, it is:

The Obama administration is engaged in a broad push to make more home loans available to people with weaker credit, an effort that officials say will help power the economic recovery but that skeptics say could open the door to the risky lending that caused the housing crash in the first place.

President Obama’s economic advisers and outside experts say the nation’s much-celebrated housing rebound is leaving too many people behind, including young people looking to buy their first homes and individuals with credit records weakened by the recession.

In response, administration officials say they are working to get banks to lend to a wider range of borrowers by taking advantage of taxpayer-backed programs — including those offered by the Federal Housing Administration — that insure home loans against default.

Housing officials are urging the Justice Department to provide assurances to banks, which have become increasingly cautious, that they will not face legal or financial recriminations if they make loans to riskier borrowers who meet government standards but later default.

Gee, a government assurance…how comforting! Considering what we have recently learned about the methods at the IRS, FEC, FTC, EPA and others I’d bet that the “assurance” would depend on who the bank CEO supported in the last election…who his friends are, what church he attends, maybe even the content of his prayers.

Let’s review! The President wants local banks to take unreasonable risks to make loans to people who don’t qualify under sensible rules but he also wants to close the two government backed entities that used to purchase these toxic loans making the banks responsible for losses they are forced to take…but he also wants to assure the banks that the taxpayers still stand firmly behind them? Smoooth!

This is the same administration that has created a diversity map. The goal is to create a diverse population in every neighborhood. Forced integration! How exactly he can ensure that this happens is a mystery…unless banks are regulated as to the number of loans people of certain ethnic background must be given AND those of whites denied to fill any given neighbiorhood. I wouldn’t put it past this crowd:

The U.S. government is going to log the diversity of every neighborhood in the U.S.
As part of a proposed rule, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), would provide detailed demographic information on every single neighborhood in the country in an attempt to get a better understanding of segregation, integration and poverty, the agency said.

This racial mapping will be done as part of the new Fair Housing rule proposed by the agency.

Fair housing my a#*! There is nothing fair about this kind of manipulation.

Is there anyone in this administration that isn’t completely motivated by race…that isn’t completely averse to freedom? Is there anyone in this administration that actually cares about seeing things work for all Americans?

The proposal to close F&F within five years was sponsored by Bob Corker (R-Tenn) and Mark Warner (D- VA). It will replace the two government sponsored mortgage giants with private sector entities that rely on government guarantees only after private capital has been exhausted.

We will have to see what’s in it before we can get behind it.

Meanwhile, if the President really wants to help poor people he could start working on Detroit. One house there has been on the market for over a year at the low, low, bargain basement price of $1.00. Heck, you don’t even need a loan for that! So far the owner has had zero takers. It’s a nice little home too…but there are no jobs Mr. P. No jobs and nothing good on the horizon. Your brand of hope and change really bites, sir.

If you have lost a job, can’t find a job, are worried about the future and would like to learn why we are in the mess we are in take an inside peek into stupid banking regulations by reading, “No Thought Regulation” – CATO

Now work to elect people that are as angry as you are and care as much as you do about returning America to a land of freedom and opportunity!

What’s Going On? Security Experts Dub Embassy Closings “Crazy Pants”

Posted by Tina

POTUS hit the late night comedy stage last night to yuk-it-up with Leno over policy while analysts scratch their heads over the Presidents wide scope approach to embassy closings:

“It’s crazy pants – you can quote me,” said Will McCants, a former State Department adviser on counterterrorism who this month joins the Brookings Saban Center as the director of its project on U.S. relations with the Islamic world.

“We just showed our hand, so now they’re obviously going to change their position on when and where” to attack, said Nada Bakos, a former CIA analyst who was part of the team that hunted Osama bin Laden for years.

“It’s not completely random, but most people are, like, ‘Whaaat?’ ” said Aaron Zelin, who researches militants for the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and blogs about them at Jihadology.net

“I’m not going to argue that it’s not willy-nilly, but it’s hard for me to come down too critical because I simply don’t know their reasoning,” said Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, a counterterrorism specialist at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a Washington research institute.

But Eli Lake and Josh Rogin report that it was an intercepted conference call between affiliated operatives and Top Al Qaida leaders that prompted the widespread embassy closings:

The intercept provided the U.S. intelligence community with a rare glimpse into how al Qaeda’s leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, manages a global organization that includes affiliates in Africa, the Middle East, and southwest and southeast Asia.

Several news outlets reported Monday on an intercepted communication last week between Zawahiri and Nasser al-Wuhayshi, the leader of al Qaeda’s affiliate based in Yemen. But The Daily Beast has learned that the discussion between the two al Qaeda leaders happened in a conference call that included the leaders or representatives of the top leadership of al Qaeda and its affiliates calling in from different locations, according to three U.S. officials familiar with the intelligence. All told, said one U.S. intelligence official, more than 20 al Qaeda operatives were on the call.

Regarding the consulate that is perhaps causing overkill concern at these embassies, new information suggests the Benghazi CIA Arms scandal may be bogus. John Hinderacker of Powerline reports that a Congressional source insists the evidence does not point to an arms transfer or prisoner detainee scandal at the consulate…that this charge is a “distraction”…but the source does say there is considerable evidence that Barack Obama, Susan Rice, and Hillary Clinton’s “light footprint” policy coupled with the Presidents inability to make tough decisions led to the terrible outcome in Benghazi and is a scandal of considerable note.

Cartoonist Glenn McCoy summarizes the Administrations position by drawing the President hiding under his desk in the Oval Office and saying, “I have al Qaida on the run”

We are sending mixed messages and it is difficult to tell at times exactly whose side POTUS is on. He did side with the Muslim Brotherhood and that’s got a whole lot of moderate’s in Egypt upset and protesting in the streets.

Whether we decide this situation is “crazy pants” or simply conclude that our president, who assured us he was competent to take that 3:00 AM phone call, is simply uninvolved it’s pretty clear that most Americans have little confidence in the administration a year after his re-election.

Obama’s Legacy

welfaremap32These 11 States now have More People on Welfare than they do Employed!   Last month, the Senate Budget

Committee reports that in fiscal year 2012, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and
other benefits, the average U.S. Household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government

support.   What’s the problem with that much support?   Well, the median household income in America is just

over $50,000,which averages out to $137.13 a day.   To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the

equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $20.00 an hour.

CHECK THIS OUT:

The percentage of each past president’s cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet.
Here are the percentages.

T. Roosevelt……………….. 38%

Taft………………………….. 40%

Wilson ……………………… 52%

Harding……………………… 49%

Coolidge……………………. 48%

Hoover ………………………. 42%

F. Roosevelt………………… 50%

Truman……………………… 50%

Eisenhower……………. …. 57%

Kennedy……………………. 30%

Johnson…………………….. 47%

Nixon………………………… 53%

Carter……………………….. 32%

Reagan………………………. 56%

GH Bush…………………….. 51%

Clinton …………………….. 39%

GW Bush…………………… 55%

Obama……………………….. 8%

This helps to explain the incompetence of this administration: only 8% of them have ever worked in private business!

That’s right! Only eight percent—the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business?

How can the president of a major nation and society, the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he’s never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it’s the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers? They’ve spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs or as “community organizers.”

Thanks go to Harold for this information.

Is Silver the New Gold?

Many people are thinking silver has been over sold even more than gold and it is either at or very near the bottom.  The next resistance point is coincidentally the most radical number of any precious metals analysts, including Warburg and Bank of America, which have been spot on.  They see some room for silver to fade into the 17’s before year’s end, but almost all see much brighter numbers in 2014 for metals.    As metals go, silver is a pretty safe bet right now, it’s taken a huge hit that leaves it with  plenty of upside potential and very little downside.  This sort of play falls into the category of “You can’t get hurt falling out of a basement window. Consider this a big hint to take a look at silver!”

Posted by Jack

Excerpted from an article by Sid Klein (Seeking Alpha)…”

The shortage of gold is a joke, but the pricing of silver is the most psychologically deranged of most anything that I have ever seen.

In ignoring the facts about what will cause (has caused?) the great gold shortage, there is utter denial regarding the silver pricing model.

Simply, silver is as safe an investment is as it is a leveraged one!

The market is in denial due to the near-sighted wish to restrain precious metals prices. However, as in all cases of depressed or manic extremes, basic facts and value are ignored.

While the preceding link includes critical commentary regarding the silver shortage (latter half of article), the link below offers another example of how this planet of 8 billion can virtually cause this increasingly precious metal to nearly disappear altogether.

If life is precious, doesn’t the service of health-related purposes render silver more precious than gold? Hmm. Would it? Does it?

We’ve heard it before. All the world’s gold ever mined still exists, but silver gets used. And, of course, silver is a much tinier market.

So we consider all the new applications again, such as solar panels and auto instrumentation, etc., but does health push it over the top, or, before that (chronologically-speaking), is it India?

I have often wondered what the effect on the tiny silver market would be if (when) even a very small fraction of what comes out of bonds and/or stocks were to (will) go into the metal.”
