Obama is a “Sophisticated Consumer of Intelligence”

This is regarding President Obama not attending intelligence briefings – the National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor said:

“The President is among the most sophisticated consumers of intelligence on the planet. He receives and reads his [Presidential Daily Brief] every day, and most days when he’s at the White House receives a briefing in person.”

Security wasn’t adequate for the simple reason that this administration is not led by a serious man. He is all over the map attempting to be everyone’s friend. He went to Cairo and announced a new approach, extending the hand of friendship to regimes and evildoers that want to kill Americans and Jews. He comes as peacemaker and steps up the bombing. He releases dangerous terrorists while condemning those who put them away. He denigrates his predecessor while adopting most of his methods and personnel.

Ben Bernanke just announced the Federal Reserve Bank will spend billions and billions and billions…to 2015 if necessary…because the economy is too weak to fix high unemployment.

Mongomery Advertiser:

WASHINGTON — The Federal Reserve says it will spend $40 billion a month to purchase mortgaged-back securities because the economy is too weak to reduce high unemployment. The Fed says it will keep buying the securities until the job market shows substantial improvement.

The Fed also extended a plan to keep short-term interest rates at record-low levels through mid-2015. Both steps were announced after the Fed’s two-day policy meeting.
The bond purchases are intended to lower long-term interest rates to spur borrowing and spending. The Fed has previously bought $2 trillion in Treasury bonds and mortgage-backed securities since the 2008 financial crisis.

Skeptics caution that further bond buying might provide little benefit. Rates are already near record lows. Critics also warn that more bond purchases raise the risk of higher inflation later.

WHY IS THE ECONOMY WEAK?

Because the Keynesians are wrong…and because the leader of our nation decided to transform our nation rather than leading it.

Update: Marines at this US Embassy were ordered not to carry ammo for their weapons prior to attacks.

Chanting “death to America,” hundreds of protesters (allegedly) angered by an anti-Islam film (that had nothing to with the American government) stormed the U.S. Embassy compound in Yemen’s capital and burned the American flag today, the latest in a series of attacks on American diplomatic missions in the Middle East.
