Rev. Jeremiah Wright Said What? Wow, I missed this …

Posted by Jack Lee

This may be old news for some of you, but I was stunned to read these very comments in a magazine today at my dentist’s office and I found them again on the internet and I hope you take a look because this opens up the Rev. Wright connection to Obama all over again in my humble opinion. I do not believe Obama was unaware of the depth of this man’s racism and hatred of whites and the chance that one of his deciples might enter the White House is a scary thought. This is unbelievable hate, it’s crazy talk and for a man of the cloth to say this against the Bible, it’s absolutely anti-Christian and an afront to humanity, whether you believe in God or not. This is sick stuff. Now read what this Rev. Wright says as he preaches black liberation theology which apparently has nothing to do with the teachings of Christ.

‘If God is not for us and against whites … we had better kill him’

WALL STREET TURNS AROUND – BIG UP DAY

Posted by Jack

Wall Street was showing signs of confusion in early trading and investors were up and down in the same hour, but suddenly somebody figured out there were a lot of bargain stocks in the financial sector (duh). I’ve been saying that… and the market rose 410 points; many of the stocks that went up 12% or more were in that sector! Financial stocks went wild. What a come back from the huge sell-off days! Absolutely unbelievable.

When the market begins to gyrate wildly, as it has been doing in the last few days, it is usually a signal the market is close to the bottom. However, one good day does not a recovery make, nor even a bottom! But, I believe I can safely say this is a real good sign we are witnessing the “beginning of the end” of one of the worse financial markets we’ve ever seen.

Columbia, Oil, and Imperial Pelosi

By Tina Grazier

The queen bee of the House of Representatives flits around making proclamations of disdain against the President and the policies of the GOP while her court holds its breath waiting for November to usher in what she believes will be the start of Camelot Deux. Meanwhile the problems of the average American and the business of the nation can just sit in the outer chamber and waitand waitand wait. Take oil supply for instance

A Willing Producer, Investors Business Daily

Energy: As Congress futzes around on offshore drilling, Colombia is doing the exact opposite discovering and producing lots of new oil. So why does Congress withhold free trade from such a helpful ally?

The First 100 Days of McCain * Palin

Posted by Tina

We’ll Protect Taxpayers From More Bailouts

In the first 100 days of our administration, we will look at every agency and department and expenditure of the federal government and ask this simple question: Is it serving the needs of the taxpayer? If it is not, we will reform it or shut it down, and we will spend money only on what is truly in the interest of the American people. John McCain & Sarah Palin

An ambitious (and oh so necessary) agenda. Given the state of Washington its hard to imagine they would be able to get very far but if the American people care about our country, and indeed the rest of the world, we will elect these two and give them a shot.

In the mean time, the Queen Bee Speaker of the House continues to do nothing, play politics, and point fingers as she slinks out of town.

Fannie Mae CEO to Democrats: You Are Our ‘Family’ and ‘Conscience’, by P.J. Gladnick

A stunning example of the incredible disconnect between the mainstream media and the blogosphere is this video of the interim Fannie Mae CEO, Daniel Mudd, addressing the Congressional Black Caucus, including Barack Obama, at their swearing-in ceremony in 2005. *** …Mudd talks about the problems of Fannie Mae yet that didn’t keep Obama and other Democrats from taking large contributions from that organization or doing anything to try to fix it. Here is a transcript of CEO Mudd addressing the Democrats:

Biden Says Handing Over Cash Makes a Patriot

Posted by Tina

WASHINGTON – Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans. The Republican campaign for president calls the tax increases their Democratic opponents propose “painful” instead of patriotic. Under the economic plan proposed by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, people earning more than $250,000 a year would pay more in taxes…

Just what Americans don’t need right now.

McCain Calls for Commission on Wall Street Crisis

Posted by Tina

“An angry Sen. John McCain indicated today (yesterday) that as president he would launch a 9/11-commission style investigation into what he called ‘the old-boy network and Washington corruption’ that created the current Wall Street crisis and has endangered peoples’ savings and retirement funds. *** And Obama, campaigning in Golden, Colo., said McCain’s proposal for a 9/11 style commission to look into Wall Street’s fiscal follies was an attempt by the Republican to ”pass the buck.'” ABC News

The maverick is willing to investigatethe community organizer, who got a bundle from Fannie Mae lobbyists, wants to pass the buck and stick with blaming the GOP.
