Man to Military Recruiter: How old does a person have to be to join?

Recruiter: At least eighteen.

Man: Good! I wanna join up. Im twenty one.

Recruiter: UhwellIm sorry, but you cant join.

Man: Why not. Im of age.

Recruiter: Welluh, for one thing youre only three and a half feet tall.

Man: Im a dwarf. What youd probably call a midget. I still wanna join.

Recruiter: but youre in a wheelchair!

Man: So?

Recruiter: Sorry. You cant join. We have rules, regulations, and laws.

Man: Those laws are discriminatory.

Recruiter: Maybe so, but laws are laws.

Man: Why are you so filled with hate?

Recruiter: I dont hate you, but you cant join any branch. The armys field packs are bigger than you. You cant join the navy because wheel chairs cant navigate the ladders aboard ships.

Man: Theres this thing called the Americans with Disability act. The ships will have to accommodate me.

Recruiter: Sorry pal. You cant join.

Man: But I was born this way. Youre discriminating against me. You let other people join, but you wont let me. Thats discrimination. The Constitution demands equality for all.

Recruiter: Well, Im sorry you feel that waybut we have laws.

Man: Your laws were made by a bunch of hate-mongers, bigots. The law is denying me of my basic civil rights. We must all have equal rights, and I demand my rights to join the military.

Recruiter: Sorry pal, cant let you do that.

Man: Okay, Ill get an attorney, and take this all the way to the California Supreme Court. They have four judges on that court which Im sure will determine your laws to be discriminatory and in violation of my basic civil rights. Look what they did for same-sex marriage.
