Post Scripts Communications Excellence Acknowledged

At last nights (sold out) gala Republican Lincoln Day Event, Post Scripts was acknowledged as this years most significant communications blog. But, we didn’t do this alone and that’s why this distinguished recognition must be shared equally among our readers, contributors and writers. You have all made this blog what it is today.

On behalf of our PS staff, Steve, Tina and myself (Jack)…We thank you!

The recognition is well deserved. You all do an awesome job. You have touched the lives of so many people and given us the chance to express our views. The information you provide makes us think and grow. The opportunity to dialog with individuals with differnt views also helps us grow.

It was a good night and the fact it was sold out for the first time brings hope for our future with more conservatives getting involved.

  2. Post Scripts says:

Peggy that was very kind of you to say that and I’m glad you enjoyed the event. Thanks very much and as long as we have people like you behind us we’ll keep up the fight! ; )

No one else in Butte County cuts & pastes like Post_Scripts!
Why, without this blog we’d have to go to the Washington Times website oursleves. You have saved us endless seconds of clicking!

  4. Post Scripts says:

Glad we could be of service Quentin. Your contributions have helped us so you deserve some of the credit too. Post Scripts is the story after the story. We editorialize the news but we (try) to balance this by going after those factoids you wouldn’t normally find by reading just one source.

For instance, journalism in America tends to be limited in its coverage….it’s becoming more and more just headlines news. They cater to people with short attention spans or limited time. On the other hand European news still engages in in-depth reporting and they provide so much more detail than here. At PS we try to bridge that gap and give you more of the story, but because we all have other lives and occupations we can only devote so much time to our stories. So there it is, we try to bring you what is relevant, interesting and thought provoking. . . then the rest is up to you to help us and add your own PS.

And my closing thought. I’ll take it as a compliment that you think we do so much cutting and pasting. Indirectly you’re elevating us to the same pro status as the MM.

Jack this is an unexpected delight and you’re right, the real credit goes to all of our great friends who participate with us. Whether we cut and paste to get the conversation going, or take the time to express our own thoughts in an essay, the purpose is to present a forum so others can participate in the exchange of ideas about current events and issues. Hopefully along the way we will also become better informed and learn a few things about ourselves and each other to bridge the divide.
