Dunce Hat Democrat Quote of the Week

by Tina Grazier

NewsBusters Matt Hadrow writes, “Profile in Bias: New CNN Host Chris Cuomo Called America Racist, Asked About Nationalizing the Economy at ABC”, an article containing unbelievable quotes from a politically connected liberal talking head. This one just drives me up a wall:

“We’ve seen government intervene in the banking industry, mortgage industry, insurance, automobiles, chasing down problems after they happen. Wouldn’t it be better to try and get ahead of the next crisis by just, right now, nationalize the whole economy and let government experts take over for failing CEOs?…According to our polls, the public has a lot more confidence in President Obama than these executives we in the media have demonized for the past year, so why wouldn’t it be better for the Obama administration to take everything over?” – Chris Cuomo to liberal New York Times economics columnist Paul Krugman, April 1, 2009, Good Morning America.

This sock puppet for the Obama administration readily admits the media purposely set out to demonize private U.S. executives…private citizens! He thinks Obama should take over all American businesses…the entire economy! He has apparently failed to notice: 1. That under Obama’s leadership more of the American people are on food stamps and in poverty than ever before! 2. That this administration has presided over the longest non-recovery from recession in our history while rubbing elbows and doing favors for the same corporate executives it encourages media to criticize. 3. That this administration has been exposed as a corrupt regime that uses the power of federal public office to suppress conservative votes and limit conservative speech. 4) That this same administration sent thugs to private businesses owned by a conservatives to harass him and remove millions of dollars of legal property while ignoring the same in a liberal owned similar business. 5) That it has used the power behind various departments to harass and threaten US citizens without cause in acts of political tyranny. 6) That America was not formed as a tyrannical dictatorship!

The Democrat Party, as evidenced by its; ardent supporters, has been taken over by radical extremists and has divested itself of every last remnant of the American values and ideals of the founders who believed strongly in the ideal of individual freedom and famously wrote:

“…But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

It is time to remove the representatives of the Democrat Party in our republic that support replacing the ideals of the founders with the ideals of a bunch of old European white guys holding Marxist/fascist/socialist ideals! Oxford Dictionary Review:

Marxism: (noun) the political and economic theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, later developed by their followers to form the basis for the theory and practice of communism. Central to Marxist theory is an explanation of social change in terms of economic factors, according to which the means of production provide the economic base, which influences or determines the political and ideological superstructure. Marx and Engels predicted the revolutionary overthrow of capitalism by the proletariat and the eventual attainment of a classless communist society. Famous quote: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”

Fascism: (noun) an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization. The term Fascism was first used of the totalitarian right-wing nationalist regime of Mussolini in Italy (1922-43), and the regimes of the Nazis in Germany and Franco in Spain were also fascist. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethnic group, a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach.

Socialist: (noun) a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole; policy or practice based on the political and economic theory of socialism; (in Marxist theory) a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism. The term “socialism” has been used to describe positions as far apart as anarchism, Soviet state communism, and social democracy; however, it necessarily implies an opposition to the untrammeled workings of the economic market. The socialist parties that have arisen in most European countries from the late 19th century have generally tended toward social democracy.

Chris Cuomo, brother of Democrat Andrew Cuomo, Governor, New York and son of Democrat Mario Cuomo, three term governor of New York, was educated in America, folks…AMERICA!

  1. Post Scripts says:

I think Cuomo’s comments must have been meant as sarcasim, right? I can’t believe this was said with a straight face… No?

OMG… If he’s serious and such stupid things can actually be said on the air without people busting a gut and forcing his dumbass off the air and out of public speaking, then this is yet one more symptom that something really bad has happened to America.

  2. Chris says:

A quote from 2009 is the “quote of the week?” Ah, Post Scripts, always keeping your finger firmly on the pulse of the nation.

  3. Tina says:

Thanks for the criticism Chris…I do understand what you are trying to say…recalling quotes from bygone years is never something anyone with good sense would do…now…take your own advice and do refrain from ever posting another ancient history quote, especially those attributed to Rush or Coulter on Post Scripts.

    Tolerance is as tolerance does.

  4. Chris says:

I was just taking a light-hearted jab. I personally don’t see anything wrong with bringing up quotes from influential people, it was just the headline I found funny. The quote itself is idiotic, but I wonder if he’s just trying to bait Krugman. I would have to know more about Cuomo’s positions to be sure.
