Washington D.C. – President Obama addresses Congress and the nation: “Look, what the American people don’t seem to understand is this: I’m not looking to start a war. Rest assured that we’re not going to have any of our soldiers fighting inside Syria and there’s not going to be any protracted bombings or missile strikes. This is just one little missile strike against a non-strategic, remote military target. It will not affect the Assad regime or his military or the rebels one way or the other.
You need to understand this is just a pointless, meaningless strike because the media has been making such a big deal over an off-the-cuff remark I made well over a month ago about a red line being drawn.
But, in reality I didn’t even say anything about a red line, I was just repeating what the Geneva Convention said about the use of WMD’s. So, don’t blame me, okay? Besides, I’m not the one launching the missiles. This is being authorized by Congress. It’s not my problem, this is something Congress wants to do. I’ve had very little, if anything, to do with this so-called Syrian crisis. And let me add for the record, I”ve never met President Assad, I don’t like or dislike him or his country, okay? Heck, I’ve never even been to Syria and to be honest I don’t even know where it is or who’s fighting who over there. Alright, that’s about it, I just wanted to make my position perfectly clear.”

Russia’s President Putin warns US over Syria action:
“Mr Putin said it was “too early” to talk about what Russia would do if America took action without a UN resolution.
He confirmed that Russia had currently suspended delivering further components of S-300 air defence missile systems to Syria, but added that “if we see steps are taken that violate the existing international norms, we shall think how we should act in the future, in particular regarding supplies of such sensitive weapons to certain regions of the world.”
According to our correspondent, this could be seen as a veiled threat to supply S-300s to Iran.

Actually this satire of Jack’s seems more factual than any of the hesitant and jerky worded presentations by Obama on the newscasts. You can tell when he is unsure of himself and his position or words being accepted, Syria and a strike are very telling. He has been caught lying to the USA and now the world powers as a whole. Based on some articles read, and the fact we’ve acknowledged train personnel for covert work in Syria, it would not surprise me to find out that those people may have even planted the trace elements of Sarin for the UN to find. Obama is a World class liar and most all his Administration has been trained to do so too. Putin may have nailed it when he called out Kerry on Al-Qaeda. Now the rest of the world powers, that daily lose faith in the USA’s resolve to function for any other reason than to save face for Obama have basically said indirectly, “You started it, you Solve it Obama!” But, use your money and people and stop trying to involve the rest of us with your private problems caused by your own hubris.

As I look into the history of the United States and the Middle east it is hard to find a president who has not lied to the people. It is also strange they ask for pardons for each other as they leave and enter office. Obama just asked the DOJ to grant immunity for the Bush Admin against his war crimes and I am sure Obama expects himself to be granted immunity from his war crimes. Yet the CIA is always in the middle. Fact is the presidential office is never in full control and it matters none who is in there except the timeline.
Well, I believe we just witnessed another astounding accomplishment by this Obama administration. He was able to single handedly, because of his narcissistic mind, alienate one of the last true allies this country has left on the planet. He did it to Israel long ago.
When, in modern time, have the Brits said no to the U.S? When have they NOT BEEN supportive of anything the USA as a nation has ever attempted to accomplish? We may not always agree, but their Parliament just thumbed their nose at Obama. And you know what??? They’re right!
Is Obama by his very NON-action saying that it’s OK to kill Americans on sovereign American soil in Benghazi with no response, but a when different tribes of militant Muslims want to kill each other over some religious thing that has been going on for a thousand years(which is no concern of ours), it suddenly is in the best interest of the United States? why? because of a stupid RED LINE statement. Obama is going to put us at war because of that?

Also when Obama spoke today he said he was elected to end war not start wars. Really? I thought he was elected to be the President of the United States no matter what happened during his term in office. It just goes to show that he has never really progressed beyond community organizer. He was not qualified or dedicated then (except to his personal and party agenda0 and he is not qualified or dedicated now to fill the shoes of president.
Harold, I totally agree with you. Killing our guys and wounding who knows how many more in Benghazi on US soil wasn’t horrendous enough for Obama to go after the terrorist who attacked us. Even letting over a hundred thousand die over the last two years at the hands of a monster wasn’t justification to do something when it would have made a difference. No, he had to wait until the only thing he thought worthy of saving was his ego.
I find it ironic that our Founders fought a civil war with England yet their Prime Minister will abide with the Parliament’s vote, which reflects the will of the people they represent. And our president has decided to not listen to our Congress, which also is supposed to represent the will of, “we the people.” We now have a government system our Founders escaped from and England has a republic. Isn’t that the most ironic, saddest outcome that must have every Founder and soldier who has died for this country weeping in their graves.
What the HE** did our Founders fight for? We now have a king who could care less for our laws, abide by our Constitution and forgets he is a servant to us, not the other way around.
Hopefully, the blind followers who put this inept imposter in our Oval Office will put down their “free” cell phones and vote in 2014 and 2016 individuals who can bring us out of these terrible economic times and restore our reputation with the free world.
