  1. Pie Guevara says:

Colorado Secession still up for grabs. If it passes it may give a nice boost to the state of Jefferson.

  2. Tina says:

Jack this is great!!! On par with some of the best.

  3. Dewey says:

This is not the State of Jefferson. We will not succeed that is delusional at best.

The koch brothers want to frack and drill? ruin the water supply? never

    • Post Scripts says:

You seem rather obsessed with the Koch brothers, but Soros gets a pass? Why even bring them up? They have nothing to do with the State of Jefferson, that’s a totally non-partisan effort.

Yeah, you are a real fair and balanced guy. No biased on your part is there Dewey?

  4. Dewey says:

No one gets a pass. I want to repeal citizens United remember?

I want to get all politicians on the take out !

The Koch’s spent 220 million at a minimum to shut the gov down how much did Soros spend on shutdown? NONE

Cost us 24 billion for tea party cruz to make 2 million for the Conservative senate pac to take out republican Senators for the tea party. That is insanity and in my book sedition

I am fighting Obama on issues real issues like the trans pacific partnership and the koch keystone pipeline to China. Not these other non issues.

tired of propaganda that is all.

what about the TPP? Where is the tea party in this fight?

The Koch brothers are in CA and I will fight them to the end with all that secret Money where is Soros?

    • Post Scripts says:

Dewey, we can certainly agree that we both want to get all the politicians on the take out of government. Since 97% or more of legislators in California are legally on the take and some are on the take illegally, that ought to be quite a shake up.

  5. Pie Guevara says:

Colorado Secession movement over for now. Six counties solidly against, five for.

Dewey’s Kochsession is frack-tured. Fracking has been given a bad rep by enviro-Nazi propagandists like Dewey. Nothing new under the sun.

  6. Chris says:

    Pie, yesterday:

“In their never ending culture of hatred the Democratic Party and their cadre of progressive stooges are trying to compare the GOP to the KKK.”

    Pie, later that day:

“Fracking has been given a bad rep by enviro-Nazi propagandists like Dewey.”

What a consistent, principled guy you are, Pie.

  7. Post Scripts says:

Tina, thank you for the compliment, it’s been selected to be used in a State of Jefferson brochure.

  8. Tina says:

I’m curious Dewey, do you believe in every citizens right to participate in elections?

  9. Tina says:

Dewey: “The Koch’s spent 220 million at a minimum to shut the gov down how much did Soros spend on shutdown? NONE”

    Another unsubstantiated accusation…on both ends!

We have a tradition here, Dewey. When we make accusations we provide a link to evidence that the accusation could have some weight. I’d appreciated it if you would do this. It would certainly lend some authenticity to the charges. Otherwise you appear simply to be nothing but a big whiner. Do you care that others consider what you are saying?

  10. Tina says:

Pie: ” Fracking has been given a bad rep by enviro-Nazi propagandists…”

Enviro-nazi is an apt description. the extremists of the movement don’t care to work with the industry to improve the process as others have done. Instead they want to eliminate the process completely, just as the Nazi’s wanted to eliminate the Jews, and they are using the power of the federal government to accomplish their goals.

I don’t favor tossing that word around willy nilly but when it fits the jack boot thuggery of the SS and the Nazi’s the word fits as a descriptor.

  11. Tina says:

Jack: “it’s been selected to be used in a State of Jefferson brochure.”

    Congrats!

  12. Pie Guevara says:

    Re #7 Chris :

My consistency and principles remain intact just fine, jackass. Comparing the GOP to the KKK is asinine and absurd.

I call them as I see them. When environmentalists stop acting like Nazis and using Nazi propaganda tactics, I’ll refrain from calling them what they are.

  13. Pie Guevara says:

    Correction to the above:

When e̶n̶v̶i̶r̶o̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶a̶l̶i̶s̶t̶s̶ Enviro-Nazis stop acting like Nazis and using Nazi propaganda tactics, I’ll refrain from calling them what they are.

  14. Pie Guevara says:

Re #12 Tina : “Enviro-nazi is an apt description. the extremists of the movement don’t care to work with the industry to improve the process as others have done. Instead they want to eliminate the process completely, just as the Nazi’s wanted to eliminate the Jews, and they are using the power of the federal government to accomplish their goals.”

Precisely. Fracking has been used for decades with little adverse environment effects. Sure there have been some problems, but for the most part none.

Enviro-Nazis seek (directly or indirectly) to stop US oil exploration and production and thus obstruct any chance of United States energy independence. You, Tina, by all that is right and good with the world, should be living in a mud hut.

  15. dewey says:

Seriously? Like I believe this is not already known. The only way no one here knows this information is if they are Fox viewers. Seriously? The whole country knows this stuff!

links? Sure as i suggested the stories here should provide links.

I had a feeling people wanted to collect fees for fracking and ruin our water in Norcal!

  16. Pie Guevara says:

HAHAHAHAHA! Dewy relies on string of extreme left wing propaganda news organs for his information! Including the racial Berkeley bred progressive extremists of the Pacifica Foundation, “Democracy Now!” (Which would more aptly be named LGBT Marxists for Palestine Now!)

He does put in a few less egregious news organs. (As if the Koch brothers ponying up 9 million to fight the disaster of ObamaCare back in 2012 was a bad thing!)

    Koch brothers “seditious”? Oh puhleeeese.

  17. Pie Guevara says:

Ooops, the above should have read Including the radical Berkeley bred progressive extremists …

  18. Chris says:

Tina: “Instead they want to eliminate the process completely, just as the Nazi’s wanted to eliminate the Jews,”

In the name of all that is holy, *look at what you are saying.*

You just compared *eliminating a process* to *eliminating six million Jewish people.*

And that was your defense of an earlier comment! That was your attempt to show that what Pie said was totally rational and appropriate! And Pie agreed that that was a good defense!

I don’t even know what to say to this.

  19. Chris says:

I mean, your defense is equivalent to a liberal saying, “The Tea Party wants to get rid of big government just like the KKK wanted to get rid of blacks! So it’s totally OK to compare them!” It’s a complete non-sequiter.

  20. Pie Guevara says:

The non sequitur here comes from Chris. Is any liberal stupid enough to compare the KKK to folks who wish to limit the authoritarian tyranny of Big Brother (Big Nanny) government? (Yes, they are, but I haven’t actually heard that comparison.)

Enviro-Nazis seeking to eliminate oil production by using Nazi propaganda techniques and intimidation are appropriately called Enviro-Nazis. Maybe not wisely, but appropriately. If that pisses Enviro-Nazis off, so much the better. I will admit that to use there term (insert group here)-Nazi ends to rob the term Nazi of its deserved horrific attachment.

Of course, not all people who identify themselves with as environmentalist are Enviro-Nazis, just like not all people (men and women) who identify themselves as feminists come under Rush Limbaugh’s brilliantly funny term “Femi-Nazi”.

I think of myself (with good reason) as an environmentalist and I despise the Enviro-Nazis (once called self-aggradizingly Deep Greens) who wish to usurp the environmental/conservation movement. The Sierra Club is packed and lead by lawyer Enviro-Nazis.

  21. Libby says:

Jack: “it’s been selected to be used in a State of Jefferson brochure.” Congrats! —

From me too~! Does the movement have a website?

  22. Pie Guevara says:

Re #7 : Why Chris is such a pathetic caviling hypocrite

For several years now I have watched Chris and his cadre of foul and hate filled progressive peers call conservatives and Tea Party members racists, fascists, Nazis, knuckle dragging homophobes, and Neanderthal bigots just to name a few epithets. (Some of this is paraphrasing, perhaps not wholly accurate in detail but wholly accurate in intent and thrust.)

Of particular interest: The only thing as ugly and evil as racism is the false charge of racism which persists amongst Chris’ progressive peers here and elsewhere. I haven’t seen Chris make the charge of racism lately, but it is no doubt still lurking just beneath his shallow and thin skinned surface.

I have done nothing more here than to, on occasion, throw the vile hate speech these hypocritical progressive a**hole morons spew right back into their faces.

Of course, wanna be professional progressive a**holes like Chris get all worked up, self-righteous, and huffy when they have their bulls**t flung right back at them. Funny how that works. Cry me a river.

Chris, your #7 post — like so many hundreds of other of your sanctimonious wails — is precisely why your are perceived as a run-of-the-mill, left wing radical progressive a**hole. You ARE a run-of-the-mill, left wing radical progressive a**hole. And so are all your friends down at Media Matters, the NYT, the LA Times, MSLSD, The Daily KOS and the Puffington Host (to name a few), as well as your fellow left wing guests who come to abuse this forum and Tina and Jack.

Now chew on that for awhile before treating me and the rest of us here to another one of your faux, self-righteous, condescending, and tiresome hypocritical whines.

  23. Chris says:

Pie: “For several years now I have watched Chris and his cadre of foul and hate filled progressive peers call conservatives and Tea Party members racists, fascists, Nazis, knuckle dragging homophobes, and Neanderthal bigots just to name a few epithets. (Some of this is paraphrasing, perhaps not wholly accurate in detail but wholly accurate in intent and thrust.)”

Find ONE example of me using any of these generalizations to describe Tea Party members, you lying jagwagon.

  24. Libby says:

In fact, these: “knuckle dragging homophobes, and Neanderthal bigots just to name a few epithets” are entirely of Pie’s creation, flamboyant with his own unique style of “debate”.

    Giggle.

And Tina, you were WAY over the line. To compare the regulation of an industrial process already proven to be extravagantly toxic … with the extermination of several million people … is really kinda psychotic. Don’t do it again.

This whole fracking thing, it seems to be the latest excretion of the “Guy/God” thing: they can, and so they do. You can’t get them to admit that they have absolutely no idea, none at all, about what the long-term consequences of the process are going to be. When you show them evidence of obvious, current, contamination, it’s all: “what, who, us? … no, it wasn’t us.”

Sicko. And our government is failing us mightily in the whole mess.

  25. Chris says:

    Shorter Pie and Tina:

“Comparing people I like to Nazis it terrible and egregious. Comparing people I don’t like to Nazis is totally justified. If you don’t get that, you’re a hypocrite.”

  26. Tina says:

Libby: “To compare the regulation of an industrial process…”

I didn’t make that comparison. the comparison was to tactics. The extreme enviro types don’t just want to regulate; they want to destroy, eliminate, end. In that respect the term Nazi, as a descriptor, is accurate. This is what I wrote:

Enviro-nazi is an apt description. The extremists of the movement don’t care to work with the industry to improve the process as others have done. Instead they want to eliminate the process completely, just as the Nazi’s wanted to eliminate the Jews, and they are using the power of the federal government to accomplish their goals.

“You can’t get them to admit that they have absolutely no idea, none at all, about what the long-term consequences of the process are going to be.”

That’s really dumb. In today’s rabid green environment you don’t think that the industry isn’t constantly looking at these things and trying to make improvements? You are NUTS! Their livelihoods, our energy needs depend on this working and workjing well.

The thing that is impossible is to get the green zealots to understand the process and the methods being used to make it cleaner and safer. I have published several articles here. You show absolutely zero interest in observing beyond what you already think you know. It’s much easier to swallow the Koolaid, as they say, and dismiss entirely opinions and facts from technical people who actually work in the industry and know what they are doing. and what is being done.

At the same time you would sing the praises of the electric car, help to pass legislation to demand more of them on our roads by a date certain, and be completely oblivious to the fact that most of the electricity to run those cars, the plug ins, will be generated by coal or some other non-wind and non-solar source.

“When you show them evidence of obvious, current, contamination, it’s all: “what, who, us?”

Libby that is not true. The energy developers work with local governments in the testing. They do respond negatively to ridiculously overblown charges, something the green “Nazi” types have been found to do. As I said, they don’t seek the truth; they seek to kill the industries.

  27. Tina says:

Chris: ““Comparing people I like to Nazis it terrible and egregious. Comparing people I don’t like to Nazis is totally justified. If you don’t get that, you’re a hypocrite.”

See beginning of post to Libby above.

  28. Libby says:

Tina … you live in fairy land. You present a fracker (and they have been presented) with drinking water suddenly full of carcenogenic contaminants … and the frackers will refuse to tell you whether said contaminants were infused by their processes … as that is “proprietary” information.

Recently, there was an event, a lavish, extravagant, indulgence of the conservative elite … Meese, Rumsfeld and Cheney … all under the same roof. Some folk say that it proved there is no God … as lightening did not strike.

But I say we are only, just, reserving a very, very special place in hell for Cheney … who legislatively removed the fracking process from any water quality controls.

Yes … we will see him roast.

  29. Chris says:

Tina: “I didn’t make that comparison. the comparison was to tactics. The extreme enviro types don’t just want to regulate; they want to destroy, eliminate, end. In that respect the term Nazi, as a descriptor, is accurate.”

No. That is stupid. Destroying, eliminating, and ending a *process* is not IN ANY WAY similar to destroying, eliminating, and ending an entire race of people.

And that’s the comparison you made; you ACTUALLY SAID:

“Instead they want to eliminate the process completely, just as the Nazi’s wanted to eliminate the Jews,”

You then repeated that quote again as part of your defense. You’re digging the hole further.

If you can’t see how that sentence is morally bankrupt, there is something seriously wrong with your thinking process.
