The Iconic President vs the Real President, Obama’s Two Faces

by Jack

Victor David Hansen was on the Dennis Miller show today and he talked about Obama and his crisis management skills. Hansen ran down a long list of crisis’ that happened on Obama’s watch. Hansen concluded that the public would be far better off embracing the image of the iconic black president, standing tall like a classical Greek statue than the real Obama, using his real judgment. Obama’s real judgment has been revealed countless times as stunningly incompetent and wrong for America. It should have been a warning of things to come when Obama went on an apology tour as his first official duty.

The real Obama, not the image, is dangerous because he has long held the idea that all of America’s issues are solvable through a transfer of wealth from the rich to the poor, a single solution to fix everything.

Of course this is pure Marxist BS, cloaked within Obama’s grand scheme, but Hansen is not afraid to call it like he sees it. He believes, as do many of us, that Barrack Obama supports a far left socialist paradigm that is rooted in Marxists philosophy and promoted by deviously clever tactics inspired by Saul Alinsky.

In that sense Hansen says, be glad your president manages to put himself out of reach on some golf course so often!

The iconic and erudite image the left crafted for President Obama holds up so much better than the bungling, incompetent, closet Marxist that is the real Obama. Every time he opens his mouth it’s a costly miscalculation that either encourages class warfare, racial division, alienates our allies, emboldens our enemies or promotes a boondoggle social program that is a total train wreck, i.e., ObamaCare, the bailouts, Solyndra, his failed border policy or raising the debt ceiling to $17 trillion.

Hansen says Obama has no peer when it comes to leading this country into ruin. He’s everything we never wanted in a President and he got there largely by stealth following the outline of Saul Alinsky. Obama the candidate was great at saying words that meant nothing, but he was even better at employing policies that were worth nothing. In the last 6 years Barrack Obama has done so much damage to America it’s almost stunning, so yes, be glad this man loves to hide from a crisis. Be glad he’s constantly taking vacations. Be glad he is planning for his post presidency where he seeks to live out the rest of his life among the rich, how typical of so many liberals that talk one thing and live another. Because he could be in the White House fomenting another disaster. Even liberals are wishing they could just worship the iconic Obama and leave the real Obama on the putting green.

Here’s an excerpt from one of Hansen’s great articles, to read the full article click here: “So what is collapsing the presidency of the once mellifluous Obama? It is not the IRS, AP, VA, or NSA scandals. Nor did the nation especially fault him for Benghazi or the complete collapse of U.S. foreign policy, from failed reset to a Middle East afire. In each case, he either blamed Bush or denied there was a smidgeon of wrongdoing on his part.

Certainly, the stampede at the border, as disastrous as it was, did not ipso facto sink Obama’s ratings. Ditto the embarrassing Bergdahl deal, in which we traded a likely deserter for five Islamist kingpins. Was it the ISIS ascendance that is leading to genocide and a nascent caliphate? Not in and of itself.” CONT-

  1. Peggy says:

Rush Limbaugh said something similar on his show yesterday.

    In part:
“How many stories have you seen, “You know what, Obama’s checked out. He doesn’t like the job anymore. He knows he’s gone. He doesn’t care. He’s on vacation all the time. He just doesn’t care.” How many stories like that are you seeing? A lot. Its exactly what they want you to see. Why does he go on so many vacations? To make it look like he is, what, disconnected, directionless, detached. It makes it look like he’s irritated to have to deal with this stuff. That’s why they say, “Ah, you know, he’s so far ahead of all of us. This stuff is just so beneath him.”

That’s why he takes so many vacations. I’m convinced he takes so many vacations to further this notion that he doesn’t know what’s going on, he doesn’t care. He’s not responsible. And he is responsible for all of this, folks, and all of this is about the elimination of any opposition, and I mean the wiping out of the Republican Party as a functioning, threatening opposition. That is the objective.

By the way, that’s not just Obama. That’s been the left. They are power mad. They are statists. You think there was opposition to the Soviet Union? You think Mao Tse-tung had opposition, the Gang of Eight, what happened to them, including Madam Mao? Slit throat, adios, see you, sayonara. I mean, they don’t put up with it. I’m convinced that all of these vacations and all of these stories about being bored and detached and disconnected and, “Gosh, why doesn’t Obama care?” The black community’s asking this all day long, every day. Something pops up that affects them, “Why doesn’t Obama care?”

He’s in charge of all this. I think that it is a structured strategy, well conceived, brilliantly executed strategy for all of this crap to be happening in this country for six years. And here’s the Limbaugh Theorem: he doesn’t appear to have anything to do with it. He’s always out campaigning against it, in fact. He’s against what’s happening in the job market. He’s opposed to what’s happening here and there. He’s mad about what happened in Benghazi, and what image is created? He’s got nothing to do with it. Poor guy. And I’m telling you, that’s not who he is. This guy is a hands-on, steer-the-ship, send-the-orders — he doesn’t have to send orders. He’s got people that know what they’re supposed to do. All these vacations, same thing. Make it look like he’s not even there. Plausible deniability.

It’s like the way the Clintons did it back in the nineties. Bill was made to look like the good old boy, moderate, middle-of-the-roader, while Hillary was just baking cookies and maybe diddling and dabbling with health care here and there. But she was the one that was the real strident liberal. She was the one finding all the cabinet people, while Bill got away appearing like this good old boy, yuk yuk (imitating Bill), “Hey, where’s the next broad ball game, guys, where do we sign up?” When in fact he’s every bit what Obama was. All of this is for public consumption. All of this is PR, buzz, show, whatever you want to say, image.

Do you think if Barack Obama came out and said that his objective is to eliminate the Republican Party, if he came out and honestly said, “I don’t want any opposition. I want total control of this country. I don’t want anybody being able to stop me. I don’t want anybody being able to tell me what I can’t do. I’m gonna do whatever I want to do whenever and to hell with the Constitution.” You think he would be elected? No way. So how do you do that? How do you get away with doing that while everybody’s looking? You go on vacation all the time. You act like you’re opposed to what’s going on. You act like you don’t even care. But then when all of this stuff happens, nobody gets fired?

Rogue agents in Cincinnati denying the Tea Party constitutional rights, nobody got fired. Nobody got fired at all in the Trayvon Martin circumstance. Well, the NBC guy that edited the 911 call got reassigned. Nobody gets fired. They just get hidden somewhere else once their cover has been blown. That’s the way to look at the modern left, the modern Democrat Party and all of their agencies, including the big one, the mainstream media.”

    VDH is a national treasure.

We can’t call what has happened the result of incompetence when BHS told us exactly what he intended to do. I agree its good he’s playing golf except for one thing…he doesn’t ever do the actual work. He leaves that to Jarret and all of his Czars.

Did you hear California is #1 in poverty across the nation? Woo hoo! We’re #1…We’re #1

But I don’t understand…lefties have been running the show. Shouldn’t we all be doing great by now? How come all those very wealthy Silicon Valley, Hollywood, and S’NapaNoma lefties have redistributed more of their own wealth for the cause? I mean if they really believe that works…if they really care about the little guy…if the really think big capitalism is evil…if they really think central planning and sharing is the best…

  3. Peggy says:

#3 Tina, Can’t wait for the November election when we can vote on dividing the state into six separate states. The liberal states will be where the largest populations are located and also the highest number on gov’t assistance. Then they’ll be able to vote themselves all of the assistance they want to give away and the higher taxes to pay for it all until their little hearts are busting with pride at what they accomplished by creating another broke state looking for a federal bailout.

  4. Dewey says:

We are not going to divide up into 6 states so the Tea party can rule the country through taking the senate sorry not going to happen

Jeez it’s going to take years to deprogram some off the brainwash

    Sorry Epic Fail

Transfer of wealth – Privatize public services then use tax dollars to subsidize their overhead…. now we are starting to insure they are guaranteed a profit… Public? well they are just peasants

Privatized Military and security is spying on you

Public roads privatized to foreign companies and tolls you will pay more in tolls than you would in taxes, Get rid of USPS and small business will fold..

Royal mail was privatized… oh the prices in England went up… go figure that extra is the profit margin and it will continue to climb got to have that 40% increase over last year for the shareholders, where is that money going to come from the next year… Oh yea prices go up for ever to increase profits….

Conservative Polices have brought this country to it’s knees… it never trickles down?

Inversion… Our companies are disowning us to avoid taxes…. bankrupt the usa for Fascism is the agenda

  5. Tina says:

Dewey you think like a socialist.

Privatization is about ridding the nation of corporatism and waste of tax payer dollars. There is a difference between our tax dollars being used to pay for actual products or services at a market rate and government making deals with certain companies or sectors to increase government power or a politicians personal power.

The country has been “brought to its knees” under the policies of radical socialist Democrats. It has been eight years, my friend, since Nancy Pelosi grabbed the gavel in the House and the power of the government purse. Then six years ago we put the O man in the WH and he has overseen a socialist redistribution policy that does exactly what you claim to hate: redistribution of wealth, picking winners and losers in the private sector, takeover of the health care industry, massive regulation and hidden taxes, rising prices and stagnant wages, growing poverty and the destruction of the middle class.

There is no trickle down in a socialist system. In a socialist system poverty trickles up!

You are living through it and still can’t see it. Private companies profit from producig the best product at the lowest possible price. Their profits go to growing and sustaining the company, jobs, return on investment for stock holders, and competing to keep prices low.

Government control/ownership has the exact opposite effect. Prices rise, taxes rise, jobs disappear, investors stop investing, the economy becomes sluggish and poverty rises.

    Your ignorance is EPIC!

  6. Harold says:

There is never “epic fail” when people united try to better themselves and others along the way.

There is however the “epic fail mindset” of those who do nothing to improve a system that’s is lacking success, and failing the needs of all the people, not just those of a political party.

It was a failing majority of those “epic fail mindsets” the main reason people were fooled into re-elect Obama, who is proving daily he is a failure of a President. The positive news is a lot of those people now are just coming to release their mistake.

It might be time to reconsider your mindset and how it is failing California, so how about considering the idea of a new direction for success with a a different State, and avoid the hassles of relocating?

California restrictive programs and failures along with ever increasing debt as a result of California’s current misdirection and failures
(which follow hand in hand the same failures as coming from current DC policy makers, or lack there of)

Think about this, People and Business do not forsake and leave a successful environment.

Give the idea some consideration, The State oF Jefferson may be one solution to the current Political genocide of an once vibrant State and country and if given the opportunity to succeed, it could become a roadmap other states could use as a formula for recovery from the failures of Obama and company.

Will it work, lets give it the effort and ideals it takes to succeed.

I feel it has more possibilities and deserves more consideration then re electing politicians who only bring the same failed mindset back to office. A mindset that has proved it does not work effectively.

  7. Dewey says:

    Tina let’s start here

    Quote
Privatization is about ridding the nation of corporatism and waste of tax payer dollars.

What are you talking about … You sell the Public asset to a foreign or domestic corporation and then have no say about how it is ran, what the profit margin is, or who owns it.

The private sector is who is destroying our Constution and democracy

lets see I can buy your water company. I can go public and then my shareholders are my #1 concern not the quality of your water nor getting it to you at a fair rate. You have no say at all cause the public system your ancestors paid taxes for is no longer subject to your opinion.

have you ever worked in at least middle management of a corporation? I have the goal is to dominate and get the stock to go up at the expense of customers and employees. If you dominate and know out all the mom and pop businesses there is no competition cause I probably owned that one as well.

I am leaving this Kocktopia I see there is a hge fog ’round here

Personally anymore I am going on a campaign trail to knock out those who want the oligarchy tp get taxpayers property to seal the door shut on fascism.

Everything for profit of a few…

    Good Bye….

    Corporatism? is the private sector….Jeez

I need to be around the educated Bye

  8. bob says:

Dewey you think like a socialist.

Think? You are giving him far too much credit.

  9. Harold says:

So back to the point of Jacks article,

This first started making the rounds in 2004 when Bush was in office,is a 94-year-old prophecy that applies to day more than ever with regards to the second term of the current resident in the WH.

H.L. Mencken (born 1880 – died 1956) was a journalist, satirist, critic and registered Democrat.

Mencken wrote the editorial below while working for the Baltimore Evening Sun, which appeared in the July 26,1920 edition.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron.”
H.L. Mencken, the Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920

So it was written, and so it has come to pass…

  10. Tina says:

Dewey: “You sell the Public asset to a foreign or domestic corporation and then have no say about how it is ran, what the profit margin is, or who owns it.”

Proving once again that you don’t have the slightest clue about what people mean when they talk about privatization.

What assets are you talking about?

Our nation does own a lot of empty buildings that could be sold. But that would result in a profit from the sale and relief from maintenance and upkeep. Maybe we could use the profit to help pay down our massive government debt!

I notice all of a sudden you are worried about profit margin. So you think its okay that government makes a profit (only it doesn’t) but when people in a company do its evil?

Man you are one confused dude.

“The private sector is who is destroying our Constution and democracy”

I’ve asked you before and you have not answered. How do they destroy the Constitution…by what mechanism? I want details! What power are they using to destroy democracy? do you even know what it is? Do you care about freedom at all?

“lets see I can buy your water company. I can go public and then my shareholders are my #1 concern not the quality of your water nor getting it to you at a fair rate.”

And within a short time you will lose all your customers and be out of business. Other eager beavers with more integrity will take all of your customers by delivering clean water at a fair price. (How many gallons of bottled water do you suppose the American people have bought, willingly put down money for, in the last twenty years?)

“You have no say at all…”

Horsehockey! You are in the drivers seat! You are the customer and the customer is always right (Or he goes elsewhere). yes investors want and deserve a return on their investment…just like interest when you put your money in a bank. How happy will investors be if you don’t satisfy customers and sales dry up? THINK!

Do you really think you have control or say when government owns the monopoly? What a dope…politics runs that operation…political greed runs that operation…deal making and dirty tricks run that operation…and there is zero incentive to deliver at a good price.

“have you ever worked in at least middle management of a corporation?”

Nope. Big companies are a lot like government. Full of bureaucracy and layers of regulation. Some people like that. Not for me. Having said that. Big companies don’t have the power to make me participate with them, they don’t have the power to tax or regulate me. I can avoid all contact with any company by my choice. Not so when government controls business as it now does with healthcare insurance or when they collude with businesses…as they did to pass Obamacare.

Government IS the power that works against the individual. Business has to compete for your approval, purchase and loyalty.

“…the goal is to dominate and get the stock to go up at the expense of customers and employees ”

At the expense? Obviously you have never worked in upper management, met a payroll, satisfied investors, or competed with other similar businesses for market share. You don’t have any idea what it takes. You don’t realize that success depends on satisfying all. Some do better than others. The “goal” is to win as much business as you can. That isn’t domination or monopoly; its competition and it forces higher standards.

You favor government control where ALL competition is eliminated…that is the ultimate tyranny where the individual is at the mercy of the elite in government.

Small businesses should never try to compete with big business. In today’s world the country store and other small businesses have fallen away to malls, big box stores and discounts. Some main streets have survived others have all but died. That’s change and it happens all the time. The internet is giving the big box stores a run for their money now. This is a function of people innovating and people choosing. You can’t avoid it…it’s life.

Government placing regulations on one industry to kill it while giving another industry loans and tax breaks to push it is tyranny…picking one citizen over another. That is not governments place in America…that is what has to end!

Bye? Running away? Afraid of a little conversation?

    Well then…good riddance!
