DOJ Official Says Lois Lerner’s Emails Exist – Too Hard to Get

Posted by Tina

A Department of Justice lawyer told an attorney with Judicial Watch that Lois Lerner’s emails exist on backup but it would be too hard to retrieve them. National Review has the quotes:

“A Department of Justice attorney told a Judicial Watch attorney on Friday that it turns out the federal government backs up all computer records in case something terrible happens in Washington and there’s a catastrophe, so the government can continue operating,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told Fox News’s Shannon Bream.

“But it would be too hard to go get Lois Lerner’s e-mails from that backup system,” Fitton continued, paraphrasing the DOJ official. “So, everything we’ve been hearing about scratched hard drives, about missing e-mails of Lois Lerner, other IRS officials, other officials in the Obama administration, it’s all been a pack of malarkey. They could get these records, but they don’t want to.

Judicial Watch will ask a judge to order the IRS to turn over the backed up emails.

I knew those excuses were bogus! The government is required to keep records of everything…remember when Sandy Berger got caught with official documents that he smuggled out of the National Archives in his pants and his socks?

Wasting any more money on benghazzzziiiiii is dumb campaigning

Never mention the CIA was arming the Syrian rebels from the building…Oh yea what did they do with those guns? I believe it is in the news these days!

Lois Lerner emails refers to the IRS targeting case, Dewey.

This is a serious felony charge. Democrats impeached Nixon for merely suggesting targeting of his political enemies. this was done on civilians…much more egregious an act!

It is the duty of our Congress and DOJ to get to the bottom of this. As an American citizen you should be very concerned. ignoring it gives our elected officials the idea they can target the American people with impunity.
