Water Storage Meeting Planned for Chico

From Senator Jim Nielsen’s office…

I wanted to give you a heads up that the California Water Commission has scheduled a “Water Storage Investment Program Public Meeting” in Chico for this next Monday evening. I’ve attached the agenda, but it is also linked here: https://cwc.ca.gov/Pages/2015/04_April/041315PublicMeetingAgenda.aspx

Both Senator Nielsen and Assemblyman Gallagher will be present at the meeting and will speak at the beginning of it. They’ve talked about holding similar meetings with more focus on Sites, but we chose to hold off until later this year. It looks like the CWC has scheduled informational meetings in a few locations around the state, with Chico being the first.

Our mission is to make sure that everyone knows about this and fills the room. We need like minded folks to express how important water storage projects are for the future of California’s water supply. Please share this information with as many folks as you can. I am sure that this meeting will have a big turnout and we want to be a large part of that.

Speaking of meetings what about the State of Jefferson? Any local meetings upcoming?

And speaking of the state of Jefferson Mark Baird was on Jack’s favorite radio show the other night. Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. Baird talked for over an hour about Jefferson. And as I recall George is one of the smartest men in radio, according to Jack. 🙂

Anyhoo, how come we didn’t read about this State of Jefferson interview on a nationally syndicated radio station here in this blog? 🙁

      Bob, we just did.

As to local Jefferson meetings coming up, since the Butte County Board of Supervisors declined to back the movement there has not been much done. I don’t know of anything and my part concluded many months ago after that last rejection by our supervisors. I should note, Supervisor Larry Wahl was always very helpful to the Jefferson group and they have much respect for him.

    Where? I can’t find it.

Here’s a link to a video Coast to Coast has regarding Jefferson…

And here is a summary of the show that night that included the Baird interview…

It is an outrage that these supervisors won’t allow us to vote on the matter. It is just like our wonderful new conservative majority on the city council who will not get rid of the bag ban. They are all statists and closet socialists who want the government running our lives.

Bob, thanks for the links. When I said “we just did,” I was referring humorously to what you just wrote with my follow up. Guess it wasn’t that funny.

Sorry, Jack. Try to remember that not all of us have IQs of 260 like you. Some of us are members of the sub-genius society.

And besides, I think Chris Elliott is funny. Just how smart is someone who thinks Chris Elliott is funny?

Bob, where’s this coming from???? Seriously, I don’t get it.

So it sounds like Jefferson is dead in Butte County. Heck, we can’t even get our corrupt local politicians to let us vote on this or get rid of ridiculous regulations and laws like the bag ban.

When you look at the financial situation of the city and consider the unfunded liabilities it is bleak despite what the liars in city hall say.

And can you imagine the Corruptocrats in Sucramento or the District of Criminals ever allowing Jefferson to become reality?

The only solution is to leave the state. Toby was right to leave this place. California is a cesspool of fiscal irresponsibility, high taxes and other tyranny.

Huntington Beach got rid of their ridiculous bag ban. Why can’t Chico?
