Sorry morning joe is not the left. Mika slurps that tool Joes bull. MSNBC is a right leaning station and since comcast took over there has been a boycott of most their shows.

Hilliary is a corporatist with some social values. The polls and media are bull.

Why are you not upset at Fox trying to dictate who gets to debate? Ted Cruz is not an honest man either.

Media is all a bunch of bull driving the election pandering for those millions and millions of superpac dollars.

    Most people are Independent thinking

Follow the media and you become sheeple

Peggy, where is the evidence that Obama had anything to do with the change to the oath? The Fox News article did not mention his involvement. Did RightWingNews just make that up?

Also, I’m curious as to why you don’t believe naturalized citizens with religious objections should be able to opt out of pledging to take up arms or assist the military. Isn’t that a basic component of religious freedom, which you have previously expressed concern about upholding?

Dewey: “MSNBC is a right leaning station”

Maybe by European standards, but in the U.S. MSNBC clearly aligns with the American left.

Speaking of, Rick Santorum sat down with Rachel Maddow last night and said some funny things about the Constitution:

“Santorum told Maddow that the Supreme Court overstepped its authority with its ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, saying that the Court “is not the superior branch of government.” He added that Congress could pass a law banning same-sex marriage.

Maddow informed him that it couldn’t, but he insisted that “it’s clear from our founding documents, that the Congress has a right to say what’s constitutional. The president has a right to say what’s constitutional. And that’s part of the dynamic called checks and balances.”

“You’re fundamentally wrong on civics,” Maddow replied. “If there’s a question as to the constitutionality of a law, it gets adjudicated. And the second syllable of that word means it gets decided in the judiciary — the Supreme Court decides whether or not a law is constitutional.””

I respect Santorum’s willingness to sit down with Maddow despite their profound disagreements, but his statements here are ridiculous. Santorum has a law degree. How is it possible he doesn’t understand the role of the courts in deciding the constitutionality of laws? Is he simply letting his personal beliefs about gays get in the way of what he knows about the law? He’s also argued that its constitutional for states to ban consensual sodomy and birth control (both of which would apply even to straight married couples) and that Lawrence v Texas was wrongly decided, so his ignorance in this case isn’t surprising, but it’s still disturbing. It’s no secret that this has been the right’s least favorite branch for quite some time, but it strikes me as absurd to see so many conservatives show such disrespect for the job of this branch as outlined in the Constitution.

Is Sarah the best we can do?

    No.

Neither are the Dewey and Chris comedy duo.

  8. Chris says:

Don’t forget to try the veal, Pie!

  9. Pie Guevara says:

The comedy duo again try to draw attention to themselves and away from the topic. You have to wonder how they manage to draw breath.

  10. Pie Guevara says:

Thank you Peggy. You are such a great resource.
