Spring is approaching and so are early summer vacations. Are you looking for a cool travel destination that is close enough to reach by car in 2 days or less? How about this, one of the worlds best dinosaur museum…in one of the least likely places, Bozeman, Montana. ( However, my favorite pick would be the aircraft museum in McMinnville, Ore.)
Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman is interesting. Many of the recovered bones have come from just a few miles away. It also houses artifacts and history of Indian Tribes and if it’s still there, a beautiful Iron sculpture of a horse out front. The artist is world famous ex-Livermore artist Jim Dolan.
