Middle East Policy Taking Shape

Our old-timey media has been focused on smearing the Trump administration (and his family members) as often as possible. The opposition party, still seething from their losses, have chosen to be the party of hell no, even when they’re on record as having favorable agreement (Gorsuch). All of this noise makes it difficult at times to get a clear sense of how Trumps team is actually doing as they go on about the business of running the country. Two good articles by Sundance at Conservative Treehouse offer a peak into progress already taking place in the Middle East.

The first covers his meeting today with King Abdullah and suggests a probable scenario for how the opposition is working against Trump and our allies…might even include those chemical attacks.

The second article illuminates ongoing efforts by the ME leaders to realign relationships, protect borders, aid refugees, and defeat ISIS. After eight years of what Sundance calls “equitable misery” created by Obama’s disruptive policies and endured by the people of the Middle East it’s amazing that these men have come together to create better conditions for their people…there’s even hope for the defeat of ISIS and peace:

At no moment in recent history has the choking consequence of a decade-long ideological war left a larger population of people so exhausted than at this very moment.

Think of the nationalist possibility. ♦ Fattah al-Sisi (Egypt), ♦ King Abdullah II (Jordan), ♦ Benjamin Netanyahu (Israel), ♦ Mahmoud Abbas (Palestinian Authority), ♦ King Salman and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (Saudi Arabia), and ♦ U.S. President Donald Trump. Together they have a remarkable canvas.

These efforts will become more visible in the coming months. One thing I know for sure…we can’t rely on the detractors, the destroyers, the liars…they just aren’t in the game to win.
