Terrorist Attacks Likely on Easter Sunday (2017)

by Jack

I can almost guarantee you that somewhere in this world, some sick b-tard calling himself a jihadi, will try to kill as many innocent people as possible.  Actually, it’s already started in a place where it’s almost Sunday.

Pakistan’s military says security forces foiled a “major terrorist attack” on minority Christians when they killed a militant and detained his associate in the eastern city of Lahore.

In a statement, the military said on Saturday that four soldiers were wounded in an overnight raid.

It was unclear which militant group wanted to target Easter Sunday in Lahore, where more than 70 people were killed in a 2016 suicide bombing at a park, which was crowded with Christians and Muslims at the time.

I’m hoping Americans have a safe Easter Sunday, but that’s about all we can do…hope.  If a terrorist is determined to kill, the fact is, there’s simply too many easy ways to get us.

The FBI, CIA, DEA, NSA and all our law enforcement agencies could not come even remotely close to monitoring all the threats out there.  So, once again situational awareness falls on us.  We have to be alert.  Have a good time, don’t overreact, but just be aware of your surroundings.  Let’s not have a repeat of Sand Bernardino.  ”If you see something, say something.”

    Back at home

The White House won’t let you view their visitor logs, but will let Internet Service Providers sell your data without your permission…

    • Peggy says:

Obama didn’t disclose all of his visitor’s logs either. He selectively edited his before making them public.

“President Obama and his successors in the Oval Office are not obligated to make public the names of individuals visiting the White House, according to a decision of the federal Circuit Court for the District of Columbia made public Friday.

The case was brought by Judicial Watch, the government watchdog nonprofit that has been fighting a long legal battle seeking to force release of the White House visitor logs as public records under the Freedom of Information Act.

But in a decision that is drawing intense criticism from across the ideological spectrum, the circuit court said the president has a “constitutional perogative” not to tell the American people who he or his staff meets with in the White House.

The court said the president has such a prerogative because he is not covered by the FOIA and because of “special policy considerations” that allow exemption of visitor logs from classification as agency records subject to release under the public records law.

President Obama began making public some of the White House visitor logs in 2009, but refused a Judicial Watch request for all of the logs.

Administration spokesmen have often pointed to the partial release of the logs to support the president’s claim that his is “the most transparent administration in history.”

Re “The White House won’t let you view their visitor logs, but will let Internet Service Providers sell your data without your permission…”

      1) No ISP sells your information without your permission you dolt. You give that permission when you enter into a contract.

      2) The Senate DID recently vote to empower ISPs to freely share private user data with advertisers and the House has voted to repeal broadband privacy regulations.

      3) This has nothing to do with the White House and no one from the Trump administration has been lobbying congress to make these changes.

Now, if you knew what you were talking about Dewey, you could legitimately complain that it was Republicans who passed this legislation and I would join you in your complaint. But YOU didn’t. Trump has not yet signed this legislation and I hope he does not. I do not like seeing American citizens privacy eroded away bit by bit anymore that I like to see our 2nd Amendment rights attacked by gun grabbers of the left.

So, tell me Dewey, is there ANYTHING about which you are not irredeemably ignorant? Is there any issue that you cannot twist into a morass of inaccuracy and distortion? Honestly, I have never seen so much misinformation and just plain bull**** packed so tightly into one individual as you. Anyone could say that “The sun rises in the east” and within minutes you would turn right around and say it rises in the west.

Two guesses as to who instigated the violence.

Now, if I may be so bold, allow me to predict Chris’ reaction to this news — “Terrorism by white supremacists is a big problem in Sweden.”
