Public School Teachers Part of Antifa

Posted by Tina

The Antifa group that’s responsible for violence, property destruction, and interference of citizens rights in Berkley and Sacramento includes public school teachers according to the FBI:

By Any Means Necessary, which has played a key role in riots in Berkeley, Sacramento and elsewhere, has dozens of public school teachers among its members, including among its most prominent leaders.

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security began paying closer attention to Antifa groups in general after BAMN and other extremists started a riot and attacked marchers at a white nationalist rally in Sacramento last July, Politico reported on Friday. The Sacramento violence left at least 10 people hospitalized, several of whom had knife wounds.

One of BAMN’s most prominent organizers is Yvette Felarca, a Berkeley middle school teacher and pro-violence militant. Felarca currently faces charges of inciting a riot for her role in the Sacramento violence. …

… BAMN’s members appear to be mixing their far-left activism with their roles as teachers. BAMN organizer and high school teacher Nicole Conaway organized a “sickout” at her school in 2015, leading other teachers in calling in sick to protest the policies of Republican Gov. Rick Snyder. The sickout forced six Detroit-area schools to cancel classes, affecting nearly 4,000 students.

These teachers should be fired immediately. We should expect high standards of comportment in our public school teachers at all times. They spend a good block of time each day with our children and therefore bear the responsibility to provide a lawful example. Militancy, agitation, and violence are not ethics or behaviors I want taught or demonstrated in our public schools.

Wouldn’t it be interesting should a hacker find a list of the BAMN members and post it for all to see?
Might even find some antifa members there as well – unmasked!

Remember the Trump supporter who was attacked last April in Berkeley with the bike lock. Turns out the attacker was a former Diablo Valley College instructor.

Preliminary hearing for Eric Clanton, charged with Berkeley bike lock assault, pushed to September:

“The preliminary hearing for a man charged with bashing a Donald Trump supporter on the head with a bike lock at a Berkeley rally has been postponed until Sept. 28, according to his attorney. The hearing was originally scheduled for Thursday morning.

Eric Clanton, a 28-year-old former Diablo Valley College philosophy professor, is the only person who has been charged in connection with the bloody April 15 rally so far. Users of the website 4chan identified the anti-fascist protester as the person caught on video assaulting a man with a bike lock at the protest, leading to his arrest. Berkeley police independently investigated Clanton as well.

Clanton was charged in May with four counts of assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, with the special allegation of causing great bodily injury to Sean Stiles. He was also charged with wearing a mask to evade identification, a misdemeanor.

Represented by attorney Dan Siegel, Clanton pleaded not guilty to all charges in May. He was released that night from jail after paying a $100,000 bail.

The next rally is slated for Aug. 27 in Civic Center Park. Organized by Amber Cummings, called “Based Tranny” by her supporters on the far-right, the event is billed as a “No to Marxism in America” protest. Some attendees on the Facebook event page said they are coming from out of state, and some threatened violence.

“Where [sic] gonna kick your ass the same way we did last time. Get wrecked losers,” wrote one.

Anti-fascist organizers have also said they are gearing up to respond.”

We also have this high school teacher comparing a MAGA shirt to a swastika and order her students to turn them inside out or leave. They left. This just happened on Thursday.

    Watch video.

I saw an article recently that included mug shots of those arrested but I can’t find the link now.

More info at The American Thinker:

BAMN is active within both the National Education Association — the nation’s largest teacher’s union — as well as with local and regional teacher’s unions in Michigan and California.

Last year, 17 different BAMN members ran for elected positions on the Detroit Federation of Teachers, according to a newsletter sent out by the DFT. BAMN also ran five candidates for different national leadership positions with the NEA in 2017.

When the Berkeley school district suspended Felarca for her violent activism in 2016 (for which she was charged with inciting a riot), the local teacher’s union sued the school on Felarca’s behalf.

In January 2015, BAMN organizer Steve Conn was elected president of the Detroit Federation of Teachers. The DFT’s executive board charged Conn with misconduct later that year and removed him from office.
