Rep. Gaetz Introduces Resolution Urging Mueller to Resign

Speculation about Special Council Robert Muellers ability to investigate the Russian intervention case without prejudice has been hanging in the air for some time. Although people on both sides of the aisle have said he is a fair and thorough man others have wondered at the make-up of the council, the methods employed and the seeming single focus on Trump with so much evidence pointing to Hillary, the DNC and others in the Obama administration. On Friday Representative Matt Gaetz of Florida introduced a resolution that urges Mueller to step down:

…Gaetz said Mr. Mueller, who was FBI director in 2010, botched an investigation into Russian attempts to bribe and extort their way to a deal to buy a portion of U.S. uranium resources. Mr. Gaetz said the Justice Department sat on information for four years and silenced a whistleblower who tried to alert Congress to questionable activity. “These deeply troubling events took place when Mr. Mueller was the Director of the FBI. As such, his impartiality is hopelessly compromised. He must step down immediately,” Mr. Rep. Gaetz said.

The resolution has no teeth but if it gains support and is brought up for a vote it will signal a lack of confidence in Mueller.

Manafort’s legal team plans to challenge evidence in the case on Constitutional grounds by arguing the early morning raid violated Manafort’s rights and resulted in evidence obtained illegally. The raid itself was suspect since Manafort was cooperating in the investigation.

And how about those three passports?

It all appears to be a big ugly desperate political game. Rep. Goetz’s proposal will likely go exactly nowhere. This investigation could go just about anywhere…but will anything of importance actually be resolved? Can anything that happens be trusted? The record in DC suggests, no.

I am surprised that Mueller missed the issue of Manafort’s dealings as a kid selling lemonade without a heath dept. license. But then he didn’t know Trump and that makes that issue irrelevant, much like the rest of this political fly paper hoping for something to stick to it.

The one thing about this that is not being discussed is the cost to tax payers and how it has been used to slow down any real congressional work on the peoples behalf. As well as an in depth investigation into Hillary’s Russian uranium scandal, which is most likely supplying nuclear materials to Iran and then to North Korean, which I consider a reasonable theory.

Yes I understand it is important for either side to find something, and they both are very busy positioning for their political lives, if only just to stay in power, looking for anything that they can spin their campaign rhetoric around. but that’s not why we elected them to do is it.

Is that why Mueller , who it appears may have been a player and have knowledge of some of Hillary’s Russian uranium deal fiasco is still active on this.

Is he affording Protection and diversion for the Democrats, (maybe himself) and giving the GOP a storyline of collusion regarding this investigation (a lose term at best).

We already have been informed that Hillary had something of “undisclosed value” coming from the Russian sale of our uranium production, other than money flowing into the Clinton foundation, but we don’t hear what it was or may have been, don’t we deserve to hear more about that, or is this Mueller’s way of giving “the Shillary” time to invent some of Bill’s famous “Trial balloons” to float by us to see what works on her behalf, because she will state like Bill, she never had anything to do with anything, until the stain’s of her time as Obama’s Sec of State personial benifits come to light.

America may have woke up and help put someone like Trump into office, now more then ever we need to get up and help rid ourselves of the ineffectual incumbent problems in DC now.

Submitted without comment except to say in my opinion American Thinker is one of the best online news sources around.

Hillary Clinton Merits a Special Counsel:

“Rigging the Democrats’ nomination is just the icing on the cake when it comes to activity meriting a thorough investigation of criminal activity by the woman who, only a year ago, was presumed to become the 45th president. Don’t forget Uranium One, Fusion GPS, keeping classified emails on an unsecured private server, deleting 33,000 emails under subpoena, and, well, you get the idea. Unfortunately, our AWOL AG Jeff Sessions, whose face was last seen on the side of a milk carton, does not. So, we are left with the absurdity of a special counsel looking into Trump-Russia collusion, where there is none, while overlooking the multiple Clinton elephants in the room.

The revelation that both the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign were funneling money through a law firm to Fusion GPS to produce a slimy and fake dossier on Trump culled from foreign sources was bad enough. Now we find, courtesy of the one truthful and remorseful Democrat on this planet, former DNC Chairperson Donna Brazile, that the DNC was bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton, who probably violated multiple FEC campaign laws in rigging the primaries against Bernie Sanders and shifted cash around in a manner that could only be called — what’s the word Robert Mueller would use? Ah, yes, money-laundering:”

Related – and let’s remember that Mueller was running the FBI when they gave the Uranium One deal a pass . . . .

    Gregg Jarret does it again!
