Regarding Grownups

Posted by Tina

Grown-ups understand people are flawed. And when the press reports they have none (Obama) or they have nothing but faults (Trump), grown-ups stop believing the press.

Amen to that! Find the article that includes this quote, “The world loves Trump,” by Don Surber, here…and enjoy!

The Dems and msm have cried wolf once too often.

Don’t know if Roy Moore did what he’s being accused of, but the Republicans of Alabama seem to be giving him the benefit of doubt.

If Moore had been a democrat and left a woman to drown in a car he drove off of a bridge he’d be elected and reelected to serve in the senate until his death decades later. And he’d be welcomed with open arms by the members of his party and serve on powerful committees to boot.

If the voters of Alabama do elect Moore McConnell should accept him into the senate until he is proven guilty in a court of law and not public opinion.

      Well said Peggy!

One of Roy Moore’s accusers works for and supports Hillary Clinton. One (the same?) claimed to have spoken by phone from her bedroom but her mother claims she didn’t have a phone in her room at the time.

And let’s face it in the 1970’s a lot of young people ran away from home and were living on the streets or in communal groups and all looked basically the same. The age of consent in Alabama is 16. If this is a he said she said it’s just as possible that the girl passed herself off as 18, could have had a fake ID for all we know.

These 30-40-50 year old accusations don’t move me to sympathy. Sorry, the so-called “harm” seems totally arbitrary or made up and ABSOLUTELY political.

The rush to judgement by Repub RINOs on Moore is surprising – until you realize those same RINOs supported Status Quo Strange .
The timing is suspicious and doesn’t pass the smell test – and where is the PROOF???????

  2. Peggy says:

Interesting, especially since it’s a CNN poll.

CNN Poll: Approval Ratings for Democratic Party and Republican Party Collapse:

“According to a new CNN poll, the Democratic Party is at its lowest approval rating since the early 1990s. Only 37 percent of Americans think positively about the party of Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer. That’s a 7-point drop from only seven months ago when Democrats were viewed positively by 44 percent of voters.

The most fascinating part of the poll is that Democrats’ approval rating is suffering not only among “middle-class whites” but also among “nonwhites” (where it’s now at an abominable 48 percent) and among those under 35 years of age (33 percent). In other words, the Democratic Party is quickly losing millennials and Generation Z.

Oh, and that’s not all. The poll also shows that even 33 percent of voters who describe themselves as “liberal” now have a negative view of that party.

The result of these low approval ratings? Even Democratic voters say they have little to no interest in the party and its agenda for the 2018 midterms:”

    • Tina says:

That poll showed Republicans have lost ground as well. The big difference as I see it is Republicans have lost approval for their inaction…if they pass this tax bill that could change. Democrats are down because of the crappy economy over eight years, trickery (Obamacare) and scandal. Scandal, big scandals, is the reason for the constant attack on Trump and now the hyper-attack on Roy Moore.

I haven’t believed in the reports from the main stream Alphabet Press or bias print media in years, so there is no change in my perception of them today.

  4. Libby says:

Then what was the Kim/Pelosi joke even supposed to be about?

Not even here in your comfy bubble can you have it all your own way, all the time.

    • Tina says:

Really Libby, an admonishment coming from someone who supports the party that has “had it” their “own way all of the time” because of the party/media/education/entertainment propaganda alliance for at least fifty years, is a bit ridiculous…Yours was a bubble so large you didn’t even know you were in it!

The joke was for entertainment. Obviously not yours.

      • Libby says:

        Damned straight.

The “joke” was created to bolster your feeble political position with an imaginary construct easily countermanded by reality.

It’s only going to get worse. Prepare yourselves.

  5. Tina says:

Is there anything more annoying than an arrogant “feeble” loser?

Your comment seems to be in the wrong thread, however…

The thing that is obviously “worse” is your party’s refusal to admit to defeat or to work in the best interests of the people.

The thing that is “worse” is the level of corruption and deviousness to which your party will stoop in their quest to gain or keep power and control.

Healthcare has been too expensive to use under Obamacare and is falling apart. Your party will not admit their error and work with others to fix the situation. Democrats didn’t give a rip for eight years about deficit spending or the doubling of the debt…now they do as the Reps work to relieve THE PEOPLE of the burden of big government and get the economy rolling again. Democrats stood by while members of their party in government committed crimes and did absolutely nothing. Democrats were silent as their party’s IRS, FBI, ATF, NSA and OSHA targeted individual citizens and journalists, using government agencies in the fashion of the East German Stasi. Democrats did nothing as the corruption and lies piled up…you have no credibility as a party for most of the country.

Roy Moore would not be the subject of public morality assassination if he were a member of your party. His accusers are cowardly political women who had decades to accuse this man as he climbed the political ladder in his state. The so-called “offenses” only became offensive to them when he became a threat to the feminist Democrat position on abortion, which is abortion on demand without restrictions of any kind. See Oregon!

Many of the men in your party have done far worse than Moore and you have sheltered, promoted, and adored them. Your party and radical feminists have zero credibility. Congrats! Your own compromised moral compass is coming back to bite you on the butt. See Hollywood where feminists, after decades, suddenly are willing to accuse the morally corrupt men (of their party) because NOW the concern about abortion being threatened is greater than their concerns for their own viability in the profession. Now they figure the negative publicity can work to defeat not only Moore, but as a movement to impeach Trump.

You are a party of liars. You did not want abortion to be safe or rare. You don’t even acknowledge the “reality” of human reproduction resulting in a brand new human being. Bunch of sicko’s!

  6. Tina says:

Gateway Pundit reports that analysis of Roy Moore’s signature in the yearbook is a fake.

Read the entire article, the sevens aren’t the only problem. The handwriting annalist believes it’s a forgery:

When pressed on whether he truly believes the signature is a forgery, Wictor replied, “In my opinion, the signature is forged. The “Olde Hickory House” and date were DEFINITELY written by someone else. No question whatsoever.”

Radical feminists and hard core leftists want it both ways. They want to play fast and loose when it comes to sexuality and at the same time reserve the right to cry harassment and abuse when it’s politically expedient rather than in the moment of the alleged offense.

I’m thoroughly disgusted. Some of these men and women have participated over the last fifty or sixty years in destroying the morality that acted as a guardrail for behaviors and as standards for law enforcement and now all of a sudden want us to believe they want justice? They want us to believe this isn’t about political power and control?

If any of the accusers are serious, I suggest they look in the mirror and then dedicate themselves to the restoration of the morals and values have been derided as old fashioned and Victorian. Maybe then their accusations and complaints will be taken more seriously. As it is now there is no way to prove decades old allegations and so the aim is to destroy reputations whether deserved or not.

This political “front” has not reached a feverish frenzy in a box. The newly created “toxic masculinity” is pure feminist gibberish. The definition can apply to women as easily as men: “Writer Amanda Marcotte defines toxic masculinity as “a specific model of manhood, geared toward dominance and control. It’s a manhood that views women and LGBT people as inferior, sees sex as an act not of affection but domination, and which valorizes violence as the way to prove one’s self to the world.” We are talking here about a strain of behavior, found in some men — and, as we’re learning more and more, shockingly too many — but of course not all. ”

Oh, of course. So why make up a term to specifically target and define men as toxic if not to target them? Why not focus on toxic behaviors and leave it at that? Perhaps because the purpose has nothing to do with morality or even non-toxic relating but rather to redefine what it means to be male in the political and social realm. One might say this is a toxic feminine way to achieve power and control. See here

I wish I had a way to find out how many of the broken people who buy into all of this garbage were raised without fathers.

Oh my Lord. Just heard on Hannity that Moore was a Democrat in his early years (prior to 1992). See here. Is that the reason his rise in power was never challenged by these women before?

  7. Peggy says:

Democrats have two standards for their party members. Anything is acceptable concerning their sexual perversions and all members will vote in support of the leaderships agenda. Failure to not support the latter will result in the wrath of the party.

Menedez’s sexual actions and corruption behavior was ignored until he blocked Obama and Kerry’s Iran deal from getting senate approval. He broke the supreme golden rule and he had to be punished as a reminder to other party members not to even consider doing the same in the future. Having sex with kids was acceptable for democrats because documentation existed showing Clinton also participated in these acts multiple times.

And why a mistrial is so very important to both parties to pass or defeat tax reform.

    The Democrats Suddenly Need Menendez:

“Two years ago, Obama and other Democrats chortled when their party’s principal critic of the Iran deal was hobbled by a corruption indictment. Now they’re praying for his acquittal. It seems like such a long time ago. Back in the early months of 2015, Democratic leaders could barely contain their glee at news that one of their own was in legal trouble. Indeed, as far as President Obama was concerned, the shadow that then fell over the career of New Jersey senator Robert Menendez couldn’t have come at a better time. But three years later, Democrats are worried that Menendez’s woes could cost them a crucial Senate seat, giving Republicans the extra vote they need to repeal and replace Obamacare. Menendez was the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee when Obama and then-secretary of state John Kerry embarked on a quest to appease Iran that would culminate in the nuclear deal reached in the fall of 2014. Throughout the administration’s talks with Tehran, he used the committee to push for tougher sanctions on the Islamic Republic and hold the White House accountable for its puzzling desire to violate Obama’s 2012 campaign promise that any agreement would eliminate the Iranian nuclear program. He looked to be a formidable obstacle to any effort to confirm the accord Kerry had negotiated.

Now, three years later, Menendez’s trial is beginning, and Democrats are no longer smirking at the senator’s troubles. If he is convicted and then either resigns or is expelled from the Senate before January, his replacement will be picked by New Jersey governor Chris Christie. Christie would almost certainly nominate a Republican to the seat, and that interim senator could provide the GOP with the one extra vote they need in order to repeal and replace Obamacare.”
