Ho Ho Ho – Tuckers List of Racist Things

Posted by Tina

On the eve of Christmas Eve I find myself searching for something lighthearted to post. It’s tough! We have people in the Santa Barbara area and elsewhere in California living in their cars since the fire destroyed their homes. We have ISIS sympathizers waging war, or trying to, in America and elsewhere in the world. We have Democrats insisting that letting people keep what they earn is somehow bad for them and for America. (I think it’s bad for Democrats.)

MY eyes pass over headlines featuring the latest on corruption in high places and the ongoing murders in Chicago. Searching, searching and then, out of the blue…….a hilarious list of things deemed by leftist loons to be “racist.” It’s in the social/political realm but it does incite smiles and giggles. I read the story at Zerohedge; Tucker Carlson gets the high fives:

We live in revolutionary times. Wild things happened in 2017, and they’ll keep happening next year. In these dangerous political times, it’s important you know what is and is not racist. So, we made a list for you. Let us begin. #100RacistThings …

… Carlson gave each “racist” item its own separate tweet, and while the list is worth reading in its entirety, we’ve (Zerohedge) compiled some of the best ones for you here.

#1: Trees – A group of trees in Palm Springs, California, was considered racist because the trees separated an upscale golf course from a historically black neighborhood. City officials promised to kill the trees, ridding Palm Springs of a longtime symbol of oppression.

#8. Disney movies – Kat George, a writer for Vh1’s website, insisted in 2017 that some of your favorite Disney movies are racist. The Little Mermaid was listed as an offender because Sebastian, Ariel’s crab sidekick, spoke in an exaggerated Jamaican accent.

#13. Milk – Milk apparently became a symbol of the alt-right and neo-Nazis this year because racial minorities may be more likely to suffer from lactose intolerance. Even worse, the USDA’s dietary guidelines further such oppression by advertising dairy as an essential part of a healthy diet.

#18. Science – Students in South Africa declared that science is racist because it cannot explain “black magic” — no, really. … “I have a question for all the science people. There is a place in KZN called Umhlab’uyalingana, and they believe that through the magic, the black magic-you call it black magic, they call it witchcraft-you are able to send lightening to strike someone,” one student explained. “Can you explain that scientifically? Because it’s something that happens.”

#29. Military Camouflage – Don’t use face paint while sneaking through the jungle, or you might be accused of racism! The British Army was accused of donning “blackface” after they posted a picture of a soldier wearing dark face paint and holding a rifle.

#41. Lucky Charms – A diversity officer at Miami University was actually open to the idea of banning Lucky Charms because some undercover students claimed the cereal was racist against Irish Americans. Yikes.

#49. Expecting people to show up on time – In this case, timeliness is NOT next to godliness. Expecting students to show up on time to class might be insensitive to “cultural differences,” Clemson University said in a diversity training program. (read on, there’s so much more

Our lefty friends dive so deeply into the Devils playground when it comes to their issues. It’s no wonder they seem crazed…Heaven help us.

Hope this make your evening brighter…Is everybody watching the game or what?

Here’s another HoHo chuckle on the eve of Christmas Eve.

Remember this? Democrats trying to convince us all $40 payroll savings was a really good thing. But, today the Republicans’ $2,ooo+ is no big deal.

Obama: Payroll tax cut extension will help with higher gas prices:

‘For the typical family, he said the tax cut was “a big deal.”

“It means $40 extra in their paycheck, and that $40 helps to pay the rent, the groceries, the rising cost of gas — which is on a lot of people’s minds right now,” he said.’

Obama pressures Hill on tax cuts: (#40dollars)

‘Earlier Tuesday, the White House released a video of the president urging Americans to write on the White House website or on Twitter how the tax cut benefits them. The administration says that if the tax cut were not extended, 160 million Americans would lose an average of $40 from each paycheck.

They’re using the same playbook from the December showdown over the extension, when the White House encouraged Americans to write in to explain how important $40 could be in their lives, and the hashtag #40dollars trended on Twitter.’

  2. Peggy Harrington says:

Hahaha. This ones even better. I can so see Trump doing this too.

White House renews #40dollars Twitter campaign on payroll tax cut:
By David Nakamura February 14, 2012

Call it tweets for tax cuts.

On Tuesday, President Obama renewed his Twitter campaign to pressure Congress to approve a year-long extension of the payroll tax holiday. [Click here for coverage of Obama’s remarks on the issue Tuesday.]

The president wants supporters to use the hash tag #40dollars while explaining what losing that much in each paycheck would mean to them. That’s the amount an average American worker would give up every two weeks if the tax holiday expires as scheduled at month’s end, according to the Obama administration.”

  3. J. Soden says:

It’s a great list. Tucker tweeted them all the other day!

The “racist” accusation has become the buzzword accusation of the Left used against those who disagree with them and they don’t want or can’t have a factual discussion.

If being against open borders, protests that become destructive, Planned Harvesthood selling baby parts, terrorist attacks, goofernment spying on its own citizens, and lying Demwits, then I guess I’m a racist.
And I won’t lose one bit of sleep over it.

    • Tina says:

The nimrods don’t get how their phony accusations represent deep disrespect for those who experienced real racism and discrimination. Makes me physically ill. But what else would we expect from those who see tribal victimhood as the best possible “shot” they have in life.

12/19/17, Political Insider, “Why is Nobody Talking About the Black Unemployment Rate Under Trump?”:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the unemployment rate for black Americans has hit a 17-year low. Statistics from the month of November indicate the unemployment rate hit 7.3%, a number unseen since a three-month span in 2000, and a number far less than that witnessed during the Obama years.

Some of it can be attributed to illegals that have gone back home but I imagine some of it is the result of the creation of good paying manufacturing jobs in 2017. The Bureau of Labor statistics reports:

So far this year manufacturing has added an average of 16,000 jobs per month, compared with 1,000 jobs per month in 2016.

And reflecting the changes that internet sales are making:

Employment in transportation and warehousing continued to trend up in November (+11,000). Over the year, the industry has added 89,000 jobs representing a 1.8-percent increase.

Warehousing and storage (+35,000), couriers and messengers (+16,000)
and truck transportation (+15,000) are responsible for roughly 75 percent
of the job gain over the year

And we’re just getting started. We have big plans to create greater opportunity for training and retraining.

The stats aren’t in yet but apparently holiday shopping is up this year indicating consumer confidence in the future.

      Merry Christmas to all!

  4. J. Soden says:

Time for a little nostalgia. Breitbart is listing the 165 greatest movies ever made. Here’s the first of their list:

  5. Harold says:

Tina, the recent entry on that list in my opinion would be Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Rep. from Texas, who after having coveted another persons first class seat, then accused that passenger of Racial animosity, by playing the race card in defending herself as totally innocent of any misconduct through the possible (probable) use of office.

Obviously she must have forgotten herself, as a “peoples reprehensive elected” (not a typo) she chose to stay in that seat, and just let United Airline concoct a story to defend her actions, (it was suggested Lee was stand by, and how did she get to the front of that line as well) instead of doing what was right (for a standby) to correct the situation and take the business class seat offered to the first passenger originally assign to the first class seat.

According to the report, another unnamed Texas Rep, seated next to the now relocated passenger in business class, (this really needs to be verified) stated this was the 3rd time he witnessed how Lee used this maneuver with other passengers on prior flights. (so far I have only read this on a Fox report) and that’s one reason she gives a bad name to all Congress Reps.

    • Tina says:

Harold this woman is dedicated to her own “privilege” in being a big shot with special perks. Humility is the one ingredient sorely lacking in most Democrats as far as I can tell.

    • Peggy Harrington says:

Turns out the woman Jackson-Lee accused of being a racist is a human rights activist.

“The woman Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee accused of racism is a celebrated photojournalist who helped document human-rights abuses in war-torn Guatemala during the 1980s.

Jean-Marie Simon, whose first-class seat on a United Airlines flight was given to Ms. Jackson Lee, Texas Democrat, lived and worked in Guatemala during the turbulent decade that saw the military seize control of the government in a coup. Hundreds of thousands of Guatemalans were killed or “disappeared” during the conflict.

Now a teacher, Ms. Simon, 63, is the author of “Guatemala: Eternal Spring Eternal Tyranny.” A 2012 blog post on Amnesty International saidMs. Simon donated 1,000 copies of her book to schools and universities in Guatemala “to keep the truth of what happened alive.”

In a tweet Tuesday, Ms. Jackson Lee suggested Ms. Simon was upset about her seat being given away because it was given to an “African-American woman.”

SJL is a three year old in a woman’s body with an elitist attitude. She’s a bully who will get what she wants, when she wants no matter what. Earning the title as the meanest member of congress multi times is something to be proud of.

Lawmaker who ‘booted’ woman from flight once named meanest member of Congress:

“Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee regularly plays the race card when criticized and treats her staffers so badly that she was once named the meanest member of Congress by Washingtonian magazine.

According to the Houston Chronicle, she also beat out then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the “Biggest Drone” category and was also voted “Biggest Windbag” from 1998 through 2006, except for 2000 when the category wasn’t included.

She was also named top “Show Horse,” a category she had won every two years from 1998 to 2008.

“Since this was not any fault of mine, the way the individual continued to act appeared to be, upon reflection, because I was an African American woman, seemingly an easy target,” she wrote on Twitter.

It wasn’t the first time that the combative Lee — a graduate of Yale University and the University of Virginia Law School — freaked out in flight.

In 1998, she blew a gasket when she couldn’t get seafood on a Continental flight.

“Don’t you know who I am? I’m Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee! Where is my seafood meal? I know it was ordered!” she bellowed.

David Martosko, US political editor for the Daily Mail, said on Twitter that he personally witnessed Jackson Lee melt down on another flight.

“I saw Sheila Jackson Lee on a domestic flight two years ago. While I was walking back to coach, she was throwing a hissy fit in First Class over why the steward had to gate-check her carry-on. (It was too big to fit in the overhead.) She threw a tantrum worthy of a 3-year-old,” he wrote.”

      United blew it.
Lee should have been escorted to the baggage area and placed in an animal carrier.
