Justice Anthony Kennedy has announced his retirement from the Supreme Court, effective at the end of July. His decision leaves an open seat on the court which President Trump will fill. Trump praised Kennedy, who has served on the court for thirty years, as a man of “tremendous vision.”
We can expect very nasty resistance from the left during confirmation hearings. But some of the barriers to confirmation have been removed in the /senate:
Few obstacles seem to stand in the way of confirming Kennedy’s replacement before the court reconvenes in October. Republicans changed the rules during Gorsuch’s confirmation to wipe out the main delaying tactic for Supreme Court nominees, the filibuster, and the need for 60 votes to defeat it.
President Trump has a list of 25 or so judges that he considers strong constitutionalists from which he will draw for a replacement to Kennedy.
This will make our summer even more explosive.(The crazies will be hysterical)

Good news. These unions are, in some respects, nothing more than money laundering organizations for the Democrat Party.
The screams of anguish from the DNC could be heard for miles when they heard of Kennedy’s plans to retire. I expect there will be higher sales of toupees and wigs soon as a result of their hair-tearing . . . . . . . .

There is hypocrisy behind Schummer’s lies and threats of resistance. Democrats haven’t addressed appointments with the integrity of their office since they viciously smeared Robert Bork. Democrats are the reason our nation is in a constant state of revolution…they get more radical as each year passes. They need to be replaced with patriotic Americans who love our nation and want to see it preserved.
