Cheating to Get into College

by Jack

It’s ironic that the people caught cheating to get their kids into prestigious universities were rich Hollywood liberals and fat cat democrats.    Remember them the next time somebody accuses the GOP to be an exclusive party for the rich.   This was the class warfare scam crock dreamed up by Sol Alinsky and it’s never been true.

I hope in the next election the idealistic young college students remember how these cheating liberals displaced honest, hard working  students.

Gonna be another tirade against the rich from the Left, ad nauseum! . Already started with Fauxahontas’ “no sympathy” claim, yet SHE benefited from her lying about her heritage!

But this scandal calls into question the standing that the universities/colleges have. In many cases, students can choose to learn a money-making career at a technical school rather than a “feel-good” diploma in basketweaving from a prestigious(?) university.

And what about any degrees that have been awarded to the kids who’ve already graduated? And the fact that this scandal went undetected for so long could be a step toward removing some of the overpaid faceless bureaucrats in the university/college system.

TheDonald has proposed that the universities have a stake in the student loan issue. The student drops out and the university lo$e$, which would encourage the universities themselves to have more of a stake in the student’s education.

And then there’s the issue of tenure. Abolishing tenure would go a LONG way to improving education at all levels.

Yup, the chickens are coming home to roost. A bunch of liberal elites raised a generation of snowflake participation award recipients, who grew up believing they were entitled to attend the best universities in the country just because of who they were and not based on their academic qualifications, like middle and low income students have to.

This is what socialism looks like. Different sets of rules for the elites and the common folks. Affirmative action be damned with their we’re better than you attitudes, therefore the rules and laws don’t apply to them. This will be our nation’s future if the dems aren’t voted out of office at every level of gov’t.

Even Newsom’s act yesterday was a middle finger at Californians, who just voted to keep capital punishment. He said during his campaign he’d support our laws and within months he broke his promise. His wishes take priority because he’s an elite liberal and the will of the people be damned.

Newscum should take a look at history – Gray Davis was recalled, so it CAN be done!

I have terrible news for you about who is president right now.

  3. Penny knight says:

It probably won’t only be liberal democrats but in the end I’m pretty sure they’ll get some liberal republicans too. The key word here is liberals have no morals, I mean if your willing to say (yah, sure women should be able to have an abortion up to 9 months and even after birth they, should have the right to have their baby killed) then buying your kids way into a college is no more than a little white lie. Liberals want illegals but want us that actually work in america to pay for them to have all the free stuff Americans get ( k-12 school and specials classes and textbooks, free breakfasts and lunch, free health care at most hospitals, free food and rent too if they “can’t” get work, free college cause they’re now magically immigrants and they’re poor, on and on). Liberals want illegals for population count so they get more house reps. and have someone they can under pay to do all their yard and house work, but they’ll tell you it’s cause they just love them, yah right! You will always know if your dealing with a liberal, cause if they get caught doing something shady they’ll claim ignorance or blame someone else, they are always hypocrites, and they’re always liberal with others money. All liberals are narcissists, and trust me you cannot make them human beings.

    • Chris says:

Yeah, painting your political opposition as not even human definitely makes you look good.

      Jerk.

      • Post Scripts says:

Chris…c’mon, play nice. This is a new poster, please don’t name call. You are learned college professor and that is beneath you now.

        • Chris says:

Jack, did you read her comment? She said that I am not a human being because of my political affiliation! How is that not name-calling? “Jerk” is incredibly mild compared to “not a human being,” wouldn’t you agree?

(Also, I’m an eighth grade teacher, not a college professor.)

          • Post Scripts says:

Chris, no I didn’t read that, sorry. Ah, 8th grade, that’s even better! You certainly picked a noble profession and I wish all the luck.

  4. Libby says:

Geez, Jack. There’s partisan, and then there’s pathetic. Don’t be pathetic.

The cheaters have no politics in common … they have their monied sense of entitlement in common. And for as long as you persist in your willful blindness … they will continue to rob you blind.

  5. Joe says:

“Higher education” in this country is insanely expensive and corrupt. Those two things go hand in hand. And that will continue as the river of government loans and grants will continue and probably increase. And what incentive is there for reform when that’s the case?

You think this scandal will change anything? I don’t. Not when the government and for that matter the whole society is corrupt.

  6. Chris says:

Is your Google broken? Lori Loughlin is a conservative. Also, this:

WASHINGTON – The college admissions bribery investigation that led to charges on Tuesday against 50 people, including CEOs and Hollywood celebrities, has placed a new focus on how President Donald Trump’s son-in-law got into Harvard.

Jared Kushner, who serves as a top aide to Trump, and his acceptance to the Ivy League school was investigated as part of the 2006 book “The Price of Admission” written by ProPublica editor Daniel Golden.

The book examined how the nation’s wealthy buy their children into prestigious schools with tax write-offs and other donations. One such donation was made by Kushner’s father, real estate developer Charles Kushner.

Golden wrote a 2016 story after Trump won the presidency, about his book and specifically a legal $2.5 million donation that Charles Kushner pledged to Harvard in 1998. It wasn’t long after, according to Golden, that his son was accepted to the prestigious school.

  8. Joe says:

Another of Libby’s friends strikes again. You can bet this will only deepen her support of sanctuary cities.

He is currently on probation for the charges, and Garcia said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had placed him under a detainer order that would allow him to be held in jail until federal authorities arrive. The order was repeatedly ignored by Santa Clara County due to its sanctuary policies.

Yep, I saw this one too Joe. Thanks for posting it here. I thought about putting it up on the front page, but we have so many just like this… well, on second thought I think I will put up your link. It’s always good to stay informed on such things.

  9. J Soden says:

An improvement in the selection process would be to remove the obligatory race and gender questions for those seeking admission.
And abolish tenure to improve the on-campus learning!
