News Media Obsesses Over Trump

by Jack

I take the Dish basic package and I get the local news, ABC, MSNBC and CNN, but not FOX.  I really miss FOX because that was the only time I could get anything that countered the far left version of the news, especially on CNN.

If you watch CNN you would think the only news in the entire world is about Trump being investigated.   Their news is way too focused on Trump, that he allegedly did this or that… its nuts.

These people are obsessing over Trump!  I’ve never seen anything like it.  3 years have gone by, millions of bucks has been spent chasing rumors and a fake dossier and still not one of the original allegations has been found truthful or risen to the level an indictment.

“. . . coverage of Trump, to which they dedicated 54 percent of their time, did they treat him fairly? Not only did Trump enjoy no “media honeymoon” afforded most new presidents, he was regularly raked across the coals with what MRC calculates is a stunning 88 percent of negative coverage. (By the way that abysmal 88 percent is actually 3 percent better than the 91 percent negative coverage of Trump MRC calculated during the election.)”

I’ve given up watching network news – it’s too slanted.

I stopped watching network news during the 2008 election when they all lied by omission by not reporting the truth. I had to do my own research to find what they should have reported, but didn’t. The only cable show that did report the truth was Fox, so I’ve stayed with them since with an occasional check in with CNN’s Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper. MSNBC is a joke that should pay people to watch.

Fox has three shows that are worth paying for. 1) Special Report with Bret Baier. 2) Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream. 3) Life, Liberty and Levin. Their viewer rating is higher than all of the others combined. People have learned who to trust to report the news. Are they perfect? No. But, they’re better than any of the others.

Fox News Sees Ratings Surge After Delivery of Mueller Report to Barr:

“The culmination of the Mueller report saga has been good for Fox News.

The network has long sat atop the cable-news landscape, but the outcome of the Mueller investigation — hailed as vindication by President Donald Trump — has given an extra boost to the right-leaning outlet.

On Tuesday night, Sean Hannity’s show drew 3.6 million viewers, including 589,000 in the 25-to-54 demographic coveted by advertisers, according to Nielsen ratings supplied by Fox. That was a 31 percent increase among younger viewers from the same night a week before. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, meanwhile, suffered a 29 percent drop among that demographic.”

Also, Mark Levin has a new book that released just yesterday and is #1 on the NY Times best seller list. I ordered mine.

Fox recently started an online app called Fox Nation, which looks good too. You can check it out for free.

IMHO Jack, you need FNC to keep up on what’s happening, which is a lot right now. All hell is about to break loose on the Obama FBI, DOJ, CIA and others. Stay tuned.

You can stream Fox online for free. The stream is usually about 3 minutes late, so instead of a program starting at the top of the hour, it starts at about 3 minutes past.

Thank goodness there are lots of ways to get news on the Internet instead of having to rely on the alphabet networks and their Demwit talking points propaganda! Josef Goebbels would be proud!

Trump is and always has been a famewhore. He seeks media attention like an alcoholic seeks booze. Now he and his acolytes want to complain because the media pays too much attention to him? It’s the whole reason he ran for president in the first place!

I’d love to have a president that I could go one day without thinking about again. But Trump does or says something stupid and awful on a daily basis. He’s considering pardoning a war criminal who killed an innocent child…the guy was turned in by his own fellow soldiers. And instead of condemning that, you condemn the media for covering it? Outrageous.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so they say. Here’s proof it’s true. Note the difference in the number of reporters that attended Pelosi’s and McCarthy’s press briefings.

      Is C-SPAN not the media?

Anyway, I just Googled it and found the story covered by the NYT, ABC News, NBC News, NPR, and the Washington Post…and that was just the first page of results.

But your feelings are more important than facts.

Update on the deserved decline of CNN and MSNBC.

Continuing plunge of CNN, MSNBC ratings reveals that fake news is a bad business strategy:

I have enjoyed watching these volunteer propaganda toads for the Democrats self destruct. And they still keep on, doubling, tripling, quadrupling down. The mainstream is a bad joke and it reaches far beyond just these two absurd cable TV stations.

Get your supply of popcorn. It’s going to get really good and soon.

Love watching the media and democrats that once demanded transparency now flipping and saying they don’t want it. With Trump giving Barr the authority to declassify documents we’ve been asking for, those who knew what was in them no longer want the rest of us to know too.

What’s with Mueller not wanting to appear before committees? And if he does he wants to behind closed doors. No way! He wrote his 400+ page report knowing it would be made public by Barr. Let him explain it further. I would pay to see him answer question from the republican members. More popcorn!
