Meanies on the Left Pick on 8 Year Old Girl

thanks go to Harold for this find…

Do it “for the children” is a favorite leftist pitch. As for what liberals do to the children, doxxing and death threats that have silenced a budding little social-media comedy star are a good example. The incident also again illustrates how intimidation, Brown Shirt-style, does effectively stifle dissent.

The victim is eight-year-old Ava Martinez, better known as “Mini-AOC,” who did spot-on satirical impressions of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). The young performer’s family deleted all her social-media accounts last Wednesday, alarming her 87,000 Twitter followers and sparking suspicions that Twitter had suspended her or someone had hacked her account. But the truth was even worse, as her stepfather, Salvatore Schachter, explained in the tweet below:

Schachter elaborated in an interview with the Gateway Pundit website. “We had to delete our accounts because the threats, harassment, negativity and hate directed at Ava and our family grew too much to bear,” he said. “The calls, texts, posts and emails from angry, hate-filled people were quite frankly, disturbing.”

Libs HATE to be laughed at! Ava Martinez poked fun at Ocrazio and the Lefties went nuts.
Just when you think they can’t stoop any lower, the Loonie Left exceeds expectations.

    Off topic.

President Trump and AG Barr Remark on Census Citizenship Question
President Trump says that he’ll no longer pursue the effort to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census, & his administration plans to take executive action through the Commerce Department to obtain an estimate of citizenship in other ways.

    • Chris says:

“his administration plans to take executive action through the Commerce Department to obtain an estimate of citizenship in other ways.”

      The government already does this.

  3. Chris says:

Doxxing and death threats are always wrong, especially toward children. I’d personally like to see proof that this happened. This is a person who exploited his 8-year-old for a political purpose. I don’t like when Democrats do that either, as I’ve expressed here often. He then gave an interview to a hoax website that misidentified innocent people as terrorists four times in a two-year period and pushed fabricated allegations against Pete Buttigieg and Robert Mueller from Jacob Wohl. So clearly Gateway Pundit is not actually opposed to doxxing in the abstract. Again, if these things happened that’s terrible and this little girl does not deserve to be victimized like that. She also didn’t deserve to be thrust into a political firestorm by being made to do parody videos that she is far too young to understand. So at this point I strongly suspect this is an attempt by the parents to gain more attention.

  4. Joe says:

    Hey Jack, you out there???

Speaking of meanies, you see Hilly’s tweet???

    • Chris says:

      What’s wrong with you?

And are you seriously gonna ignore Trump’s Epstein connections?

      • Joe says:

Trump was the only person who was willing to talk to Bradley Edwards, the lawyer for one of Epsteins’s victims.

“The only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who, in 2009 when I served a lot of subpoenas on a lot of people, or at least gave notice to some pretty connected people, that I want to talk to them, is the only person who picked up the phone and said, let’s just talk.  I’ll give you as much time as you want.  I’ll tell you what you need to know, and was very helpful, in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever, but had good information. That checked out and that helped us, and we didn’t have to take a deposition of him in 2009.”

Moreover Fusion GPS tried but failed to tie Trump to illegal activity.

“I could not make a strong case for Trump being super close to Epstein, so they could hardly have been thrilled with that story. [In my humble opinion], that was the best story written about Trump’s ties to Epstein, but I failed to nail him. Trump’s ties were mild compared to Bill Clintons.” -Washington Times

But of course you liberals all know that the Clintons are pure as the virgin snow!

      • Joe says:

And the original posts had nothing to do with Trump. Once again you desperate liberals will do anything to deflect attention from the criminal Clintons.

        • Chris says:

I have no interest in defending Bill. If he was involved with Epstein’s crimes he should rot.

The conspiracy theory that the Clintons have had people killed hurts your credibility.

The fact that you’re ignoring Trump’s connections with Epstein—despite the fact that a woman has accused Trump of raping her when she was 13 on one of Epstein’s properties—does so as well.

Bill Clinton may well be a rapist. But there is a lot more evidence that Trump is—including his own public and private comments. This is a man who bragged about spying on young girls changing at the Miss Teen USA pageant. His remarks about his daughter’s body are truly sick. And his misogyny toward even Republican women was obvious during the campaign. He also has more accusers than Bill. Like I said, if they both go down the world will be a better place for it, but Trump is just the more likely suspect of the two.

If Bill Clinton is revealed as a rapist the left will disown him. Are you sure the right would do the same if the claims against Trump were proven true?

  5. Pie Guevara says:

The left is an ass. (This includes Piss and Lippy.)

  6. Harold says:

Let children be children. Real life will come at them quickly and sometimes cruelly soon enough. With all parents this should be obvious, but sadly not so.

It was fair to question the motives of the parents for even putting innocent children in such positions. With that I agree, however that is not the intent of the original post message.

Why have threats upon people like “mini AOC”, whom we know to be a 8 year old child, become so mainstream prevalent that people feel they can include children as their targets.

Since posting this outrage by members of the far left I have been wondering why hasn’t Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (D-N.Y.) stepped up to do the right thing, and hopefully dial down some twisted hate being generated by these far left thugs?

Why do these predictable, of late, hate-filled, and threatening responses emerged from the left. And in mini AOC case, why hasn’t the one person needed to quell this spoke out against it?

Real life Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is the one person above all who can address and lessen it in the most timely and effective way.

Even though Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez remains silent these days about mini AOC. However she is still outspoken in congress, as an example of her own tirades, she has recently called out Pelosi in a not-so-veiled allegation that Pelosi is discriminating against her clique, known as “The Squad,” because of their lack of seniority, their gender and their skin color. That seems to be a fairly racist card played.

While in Congress this year, Ocasio-Cortez has used insults, sarcasm and even politically incorrect put downs on a regular basis. Surely, she is a big enough person to accept a few parodies from an 8 year old child. Then again, maybe not!

Most people on the right, republicans, conservatives, Christians and even here on Post Scripts have been insulted daily. Every week for years “Saturday Night Live” have done political parties on the right, but rarely have they complained.

Is the Real AOC so insecure in herself that she can’t handle a parody from a little girl, Seems so to me. AOC simply might have stopped this leftist hate tirade by just acknowledging the humor of it.

    • Chris says:

Harold, I’m glad we agree that it was inappropriate of the parents to put their kid in this position.

As for AOC’s response, I would agree she should speak out in the girl’s defense, however are we even sure she is aware of these videos? I only knew of them prior to reading about them here because I keep up with right-wing Twitter. Googling around, I can’t find any mainstream news media sources who’ve written about the death threats other than Fox News and Newsweek–perhaps because they couldn’t verify the existence of such threats?

      • Peggy says:

Bingo! Now you know why you’re so uninformed. The msm doesn’t cover but a small portion of the news and what they do cover they put their liberal biased spin on it. Not covering the news means people will search for it and when they figure out the media’s lying by omission they don’t go back. Fox’s viewership is now more than all of the other cable news combined. Fox provides more news and now with the addition of all the new liberal contributors it’s a more balanced view from both sides of issues, than before.

Epstein is going to be a huge problem for a whole bunch of high power international people, including Clinton. I’ll bet Epstein video recorded everyone having sex and used it to blackmail them. Trump threw him out of Mar Largo and band him because of his behaviour and complaints from the staff.

        • Chris says:

Peggy, the MSM is indeed biased toward the left, that much is true. But I offered another explanation for why the mini-AOC story wasn’t covered: it could be that MSM sources could not verify that the parents’ story about death threats was true. I’ve asked for verification on this and gotten nothing.

There will always be a need for alternative media as the MSM can’t and won’t cover everything, but the problem with alternative media is that they often have far more lax standards of verification than the MSM. The Gateway Pundit, which interviewed the father of this child, misidentified innocent people as terrorists four times in two years. They also pushed bogus accusations against Mueller and Buttigieg that were completely fabricated by serial hoaxter Jacob Wohl. Why should we believe anything this site publishes without proof?

Your claim about Trump throwing Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago is also unverified. All we have on that is a claim by one of Trump’s lawyers. Again we have a basic credibility problem: one group of Trump’s lawyers just lost at the Supreme Court for, to paraphrase a conservative Supreme Court Justice who ruled on the case, straight-up lying about the government’s motivation in changing the census. Another of Trump’s formerly closest and most loyal lawyers is now in prison for lying to the government.

It’s important to consider the source of information and what proof they provide for their claims, instead of just believing sources when they tell you what you want to hear.

  7. Peggy says:

If you missed Tom Homan being attacked by Democrats at the hearing yesterday, here is response this morning. Worth watching.

    • Chris says:

Homan lies very early in those clips from the hearing, Peggy. He tells AOC, “If you wanna seek asylum, go through a port of entry, do it the legal way.” But there is no law that requires asylum seekers to go through a port of entry. The reason for this is obvious: the whole point of asylum is that these are people fleeing dangerous conditions who may be tracked by their government or gangs in their home country if they go through the normal channels. Therefore it is legal for an asylum seeker to cross the border anywhere and then apply for asylum.

It’s also worth noting that the Trump administration has closed many ports of entry, and asylum seekers have been turned away from others without the government following the normal process that they are legally entitled to.

Given Homan’s misrepresentation of the law here, I am not sure why we should see his testimony as credible.

His defense of the family separation policy that he recommended also hurts his credibility.

His story about finding dead migrants in a trailer is horrific, but how can he not see that more immigration restrictions and harsher punishment for violating them only incentivizes such dangerous methods of crossing? If people could more easily enter this country the legal way, they wouldn’t do it illegally! That is such an obvious principle but it’s apparently one that our more thuggish cops and their enablers haven’t learned since Prohibition.

      • Peggy says:

Based on our asylum codes I don’t believe Homan lied. It turns out the attorney general has the authority to change the regulations as needed.

        “(C) Additional limitations
The Attorney General may by regulation establish additional limitations and conditions, consistent with this section, under which an alien shall be ineligible for asylum under paragraph (1). ”

Homan and all border patrol agents are there to enforce our laws, protect this country and save lives when possible. There were close to 500 water rescue by agents. How many more would have died without them there?

The problem isn’t Homan, it’s congress not doing it job and fixing this mess THEY created. Pelosi’s schedule is out for the summer and immigration and USMCA is not on it. Which means another year gone by with more lives being lost at the border and our trade agreement with Canada and Mexico hanging in limbo.

        • Chris says:

Peggy, when did the attorney general change the regulations forbidding asylees from coming in except at a port of entry? I’m aware of the changes made yesterday as well as an earlier decision in April to deny asylees bail and hold them for longer periods of time, but that’s it. If no such changes were made then Homan did misrepresent the law. It’s also possible that such a change would violate other parts of US or international law, as yesterday’s changes do according to many lawyers.

But whether the AG can do such a thing of course doesn’t mean he should. All of these new restrictions make our country less free, less welcoming, and less American than we were before, abandoning our country’s promise to satisfy the worst instincts of one man’s fearful base while doing nothing to make us safer.
