A protester is arrested for exercising free speech:

A police officer threatens to kill protesters for standing in the road:

Cops sneak up on and attack a group of protesters, including children, with teargas and rubber bullets:

Police destroy water bottle supplies for protesters:

Again: This is how these officers behave on camera, in response to protests over police brutality. I will stop believing these issues are systemic when police stop acting like they can do these things with no consequences, on camera, for all the world to see.

Chris, you need to be more careful the officer was asking people to PLEASE move out of the way… if they didn’t they would be “gunned” meaning hit with rubber bullets. He in no way threatened to kill anyone. Who says with such emphatic pleas… move out of the way and then would casually kill people? C’mon. Chris you are not helping anyone with your comments. You getting things all wrong and inciting people.

      • Chris says:

I heard “dead.” He could have also said “gunned.” That threat remains illegal.

I’m inciting people? The cops are plenty incited already, and their excessive force is only inciting further riots, needlessly escalating conflict.. It would be nice to see you call for de-escalation…something police are supposed to be trained in. But you have yet to do so.
        From the Miami Herald:

The Fort Lauderdale patrol officer who inflamed a tense demonstration on Sunday, knocking over a seated protester just before a peaceful protest against police abuse turned violent, has been reviewed by internal affairs for using force 79 times in his roughly three-and-half years on the force, according to department records

        https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/crime/article243234261.html

Would anyone here be able to keep their jobs if they were reviewed for the same kind of misstep 79 times? I wouldn’t, even with my union. But it’s typical for police.

        • Post Scripts says:

Threat remains illegal? lol In what penal code? Maybe he could have used a better word, I dunno, but you keep trying Chris, you may come up with something yet. If you throw enough on the wall, you might get lucky and something will stick.

I am so sick of the cop bashing Chris. It’s just not warranted, there are no facts to back up the left’s relentless narrative… none and that includes your tweets. It would be hilarious to see the cop haters try to do that job for 24 hours. It takes a very special kind of person to deal with mostly thugs and losers 24/7. By the time you are 3-5 years on the job you can develop a pretty cynical attitude towards the public…. a very justified cynical attitude in my opinion. Cops that can’t handle it and deal with the stress are very special and deserve our support. And then there are the few that just slowly start to lose it. Their mental attitude just spirals down and sometimes they do something bad without even meaning too, because they are after all human and in that one moment of time they snapped. It happens. But, as for a systemic problem within the ranks… nah, pure grade A BS coming out of the left.

          • Chris says:

You, a former cop and someone I consider a good person, can’t even bring yourself to condemn the most egregious acts of police violence against peaceful protesters when you see them.

            That’s how I know it’s systemic.

This woman is groped by an officer and then outright beaten across the legs by multiple police officers because she resisted the assault…it’s brutal.

            https://twitter.com/greg_doucette/status/1268391718086422528?s=20

            T. Greg Doucette is not on “the left.” He’s a conservative–a real one, you know, the kind that is against Big Government overreach and abuse of citizens, and in favor of individual Constitutional rights? I know those are a dying breed now that Trump has taken over. He has posted literally hundreds of videos documenting police violence against peaceful videos since they began just in the last week. The police are proving the protesters right. You just refuse to acknowledge the proof.

          • Post Scripts says:

Chris you make a number of serious claims against the police and when I JUST clicked on the link you provided to show us video evidence…. I don’t see any of it.. no groping! Well, this does it for me! Look, you have been blitzing us with these tweets and wild allegations critical of police in cities under siege. You are grabbing everything you can off twitter and then using them like a weapon. YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN. NEITHER I NOR OUR READERS WILL NOT BE PLACED IN THE POSITION OF ANALYZING EVERY TRIVIAL DETAIL OF EVERY WILD CLAIM YOU MAKE. ITS TOO MUCH CHRIS, WE’RE NOT GOING TO PLAY THAT GAME. Your highly critical narrative of our nations police is not helpful – it looks like you are doing this for reasons of agitation, not information. This can only play into dangerous civil unrest. I can’t be part of that. I am putting your comments on hold until further notice. You are yelling fire in a crowed theater and this is where free speech ends.

Get off your dam* knees solders!!! The last time was when Iran forced our captured sailors to. Don’t disgrace our uniform or our country.

  3. Peggy says:

Again, GET OFF YOUR KNEES. Must see videos, including Tucker’s at the very end.

  4. Tina says:

Apparently one of us won’t be satisfied until we all agree with him that cops are killers who threaten injury and take every opportunity to commit murder! It’s the very reason they become cops. Not only that but we must all rush to judgement and condemn them before all facts are known in the court of public opinion.

Police officers are human beings and citizens too. What about their civil rights! Innocent until PROVEN guilty.

It isn’t that some of the cops Chris accuses through his links didn’t err or worse, it’s that Chris has no sensitivity or compassion for the situations that Officers face when criminals and yes, even protesters, decide to cause trouble and break the law.

MLK and his followers marched quietly and respectfully. The weren’t screaming in your face belligerent mobs. There’s a difference. Those protests were peaceful…these are not. There are elements on the far left that purposely take over. They want chaos and mayhem. They are supported and defended by Democrats and their famous, wealthy donors. It is this element that needs to be condemned. Give me a large break!!!
