REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH

By Bruce Sessions

abruce.jpgWith tongue firmly planted in cheek, I submit to you golfers, the new USGA rules which will go into effect January 21st, in honor of our new President. The rules will go into effect one minute after the swearing in ceremony is complete.

This is only a preview as the complete rule book is being written now. Here are a couple of basic changes. Golfers with handicaps below 10 will have their green fees increased by 35%. Between 11 and 18 handicap, golfers will see no increase in green fees. Above 18 will play for free and even get a check from the course played.

The dollar amount put in for bets will be as follows. For handicaps below 10, an additional $10–between 11 and 18, no additional amount. Above 18, you will receive the total amount in the pot and you dont even have to play.

The term gimme putt will be changed to entitlement and will be used as follows: handicaps below 10, no entitlements. Handicaps 11 to 17, entitlements for putter length putts. Handicaps above 18, if on the green, no need to even putt; just pick it up. These entitlements are intended to bring about fairness in scoring so that the final scores of all players will be about the same.

In addition, a Player will be limited to a maximum of one birdie and/or six pars; any excess must be given to those fellow players who have not yet scored a birdie or par. Only after all players have received a birdie or par from the player making the birdie or par, can that Player begin to count his score again.

The net score will be available only for scoring those players with handicaps 18 or above. This is intended to redistribute the success of winning by making sure the game of golf is about fairness and equality only. It should have nothing to do with ability. This should make our new President proud (since it was his idea.)

Democrats Nearing 60th Vote in Senate!

by Dick Morris

Those of us who want to frustrate Obama’s radical agenda are one election away from political impotence. Ted Stevens has just fallen 800 votes behind in the Alaska recount (hard to make up in a tiny state) and Coleman is clinging to just a 200 vote margin in Minnesota (tiny in a huge state) with the recount not yet even begun. So if we lose Alaska and Minnesota, Saxby Chambliss’ seat in Georgia is the 60th vote to stop a filibuster. It all comes down to Georgia.

Price Fixing Again – No Not Gas, its LCD TVs!

by Jack Lee

Bought an LCD big screen TV lately? Chances are you overpaid. Turns out 3 main suppliers were engaged in price frixing. LG Display of South Korea, Sharp of Japan and Chunghwa Picture Tubes of Taiwan pleaded guilty and agreed to pay a total of $585 million in criminal fines for their role in fixing the price of liquid-crystal display panels. When are the CEO’s going to get some serious jail time?

Gordon Brown Calls for Tax CUTS

Posted by Tina

Hmmmconservative policies are suddenly seen as worthwhile. When liberals get caught in a tight enough spot they are forced to tell the truth:

* Gordon Brown tonight called on the world’s most powerful industrial nations to agree a programme of immediate and coordinated tax cuts to prevent the global economy sliding deeper into recession. Arriving in New York for this weekend’s unprecedented gathering of the leaders of the world’s leading 20 economies, the prime minister said the need for a “fiscal stimulus” both for the UK economy and the world had increased after an autumn in which accelerating losses had intensified fears of a deep and lasting slump. * Guardian (UK)

Is the conservative tax policy dead? NO!

Saudi’s Host Meeting On Religious Tolerance

by Jack Lee

The head of the United Nations General Assembly Miguel d’Escoto decried the West’s “unbridled greed“, meaning the United States of course, as he opened a conference on religious tolerance today.

a205147-11-11-2008.jpg
UN President Miguel d’Escoto, shown left, explains why the West is bad. He made his chastising, finger pointing remarks just before Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah spoke to the UN members about respect.

The King called for inter-faith respect. Saudi law prohibits any religion except SUNNI to be practiced, so the conference had to be held outside Saudi Arabia. The Saudi law also prohibits women from operating vehicles, voting, and other offensive conduct such as exposing their ankle in public. The Saudi’s holy law allows for the gang raping of bad women who dare expose too much. An adultress will get even worse, but this will probably not be a topic of discussion in the conference about tolerance.

President Bush has decided to use his last days in office to support the UN conference and he will be one of the guest speakers! At the same time, but on the West Coast, sexual deviates, prostitutes and pimps will host a meeting calling for high moral conduct. The conference was called a publicity stunt, so we’re glad the President didn’t fall for this fake conference… that would have been really embarassing for our President to attend a fake conference hosted by a bunch of hypocrits.

Obama – Growing the Bureaucracy

Posted by Tina

The nation is in financial crisis. Both parties made a big deal about our debt. The following represents the “growing” problem of a big expensive bureaucratic Washington:

“On National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” yesterday, longtime Obama family friend and Obama-Biden Transition Team co-chair Valerie Jarrett said that the President-elect would, as pledged during the campaign, create an Office of Urban Policy. Jarrett said the office would “have a comprehensive approach to our urban development,” who will be an “advocate for cities” within the White House, taking “all the variety of different federal programs and help target them” – * Jake Tapper, ABC News

How does growing the bureaucracy help?
