Fake News from NPR

by Jack Lee

Question,  should news networks like CNN, FOX, NPR and others be severely punished for deliberately feeding us false and misleading information?

As you know they all have guest experts from time to time.  These experts offer up what are supposed to be informed opinions based on provable facts.  However, when their experts are 100% wrong and appear to be trying to score political points, doesn’t that news station have a duty to expose them immediately and present the historical facts?

A case in point is NPR, they are always putting out leftist rhetoric disguised as facts or news.  Recently (yesterday) they aired a black female spokesperson supporting the removal the Robert E. Lee statue from Charlottesville.  She based that support on two key issues, Lee was a promoter and defender of the slave trade and that slavery was his motive/reason for waging war on the North!   No counter point or questioning was raised by the NPR commentator, it was just misinformation left to hang out there as factual.

That infuriated me, because anyone who has taken the slightest bit of time to inform themselves would know what that woman said was not true.    As the saying going, you can have your own set of opinions, but not your own set of facts.

If there is anything good to come from this, we wouldn’t be talking about the facts now, if it were not for the controversy over Lee’s statue.

I’ve seen other commentators and journalists making the same mistake, error…assist.

I think a lot of them have never learned the history of the founders. American history is poorly taught. We learn the basics and that’s about it. That’s got to change.

The kids in the streets have been carefully taught to hate, to be filled with anger, based on a lie. They are as dumb as rocks when it comes to the country they dwell in…otherwise they’d be following Charles Barkley’s advice and taking advantage of the wonderful opportunity this nation affords them!

    Hey Jack and Tina,
I believe I posted a comment here and to another article with a couple of links. Instead of my posts showing on the screen with the message waiting moderation it went back to the front/home page. I tried a couple of times and got the message, I was attempting to post duplicates.

    Thanks
