For the last 20+ years Iran has felt free to insult the United States at will. They constantly threaten to kill us and they send out their terrorist squads whenever and wherever the opportunity presented itself. They once paused briefly right after 9-11 when an angry George W. Bush made his famous, you are either with us or against us speech. Iran was silent for a few months until they were sure that the US would not launch a military strike at them.
Last night President Trump went one better when he tweeted the following in all capitol letters… “”NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”
Is anyone confused by what he meant? No? Me either, seems fairly clear. So, I think the next time Iran holds one of their media shows, threatening to slaughter Americans they will get a reply from Trump, probably in the form of a cruise missile aimed at the Ayatollahs that pull the puppet strings of Iran’s president.
If he lets it slide and does nothing, Iran will never know what could follow at any moment. Because that leaves the door open for the Donald to say, “That’s ok. It’s not over, we shall reserve the time and place for payback.” Maybe not quite in those words, but something similar. That should keep Iran on alert, if not a little sleepless. But, who knows what the Donald really has in mind, certainly not Iran, nor me, nor any of us? That’s the beauty of it! : )

I understand the decision, which I think is a correct one, but still waiting to see how it will be tolerated. Technically, I believe I can now have an open carry in CA, but I wouldn’t. Anyone know how this decision will affect the current law on open carry? Wouldn’t even be an issue in Texas.

Gun’s ain’t no big deal here in the Lone Star state, when it comes to guns, we are taught to respect them, we train early on with them, use ’em for sport and protection and our legislators ain’t afraid of us owning them. Why you folks out there got yer tails up about guns and ain’t fix’n to chunk those who are. It’s like, duh, the first rule of holes: when you’re in one, stop digging.
