The Marxist-Progressives who control California have made their priorities clear (and they’ve faced no real opposition from the timid Republicans):
- make life easier for criminals and illegal aliens and criminal illegal aliens, while cracking down on law-abiding gun owners and citizens. Their goal with the new gun control measures in particular is to make our lives a living hell, under the guise of improving public safety, but the reality is the new laws simply increase the government’s control over those who they fear will eventually rise up and resist them with arms.
- make it easier to commit voter fraud
- make it harder to hire employees or run a business or be a taxpaying citizen
Here are the Ten Stupidest Laws that Go into Effect on Monday, January 1st, 2018:
- Massive increase in Gas & Car Tax: First SB-1: increases your gas taxes by .12 Cents and the car tax (Vehicle License Fee) by an average of $150. Then 9 sellout traitor Republicans voted to renew the Cap N Trade program—which should be called Cap n Tax Scheme—which will increase gas approx .73 cents per gallon according to the supposedly ‘non-partisan’ Legislative Analysts Office (LAO).
- Multiple laws to turn California into a Sanctuary for Illegal Alien Criminals: A) $30 million of our taxes to subsidize free legal help for illegal aliens (including Criminal Aliens). B) SB54 to protect dangerous illegal alien criminals from deportation by making it illegal for law enforcement agencies to cooperate with Federal Immigration agencies. C) Bill allowing tenants to sue landlords if they disclose immigration status to any governmental authority.
- Proposition 63—which makes it illegal for Californians to purchase ammo from out of state and requires California residents to purchase ammo through licensed ammo dealers after buying a permit and passing an additional background check—goes into effect January 1st, 2018.
- Early release for elderly lifers—murderers, rapists, etc.—as long as they are at least 60 years old and have already served 25 years in prison. Under these rules, Charles Manson would have qualified and the Melendez brothers, who murdered their parents in cold blood could potentially be released in just over a decade.
- Heard of “safe spaces?” You won’t believe this one. A new law establishes safe “injection zones” run by the government to give people a “safe space” to inject heroin.
- California makes it easier to commit voter fraud with SB450, which passed in 2016, does away with neighborhood polling places and replaces them with elections conducted primarily by mail. Ostensibly, it represents another effort to boost sagging voter participation, but by moving to “mail only” elections, all semblance of any attempt at voter integrity is lost. No longer will voters be required to identify themselves in any way in order to vote.
- One new law makes it a misdemeanor (instead of a felony) to intentionally transmit AIDS to a unknowing partner. This shows you how completely insane and dominant the leftist gay mafia is in California politics.
- Assembly Bill 167 seeks to tamp down on “not in my backyard” backlash by making it harder for cities and counties to vote down proposed developments that fit within their long-range housing plans. This is a direct assault on property rights, where the government’s agenda is the primary driver, not your rights.
- Another law allows a driver’s true sex to be omitted from drivers licenses—allowing a third gender to be listed. The goal of any form of identification should accuracy, not a political agenda.
- Just what California needs. More restrictions on employers: One new law bans employers from requiring formerly incarcerated job seekers by banning the box on applications that asks about criminal conviction history. Another forbids prospective employers from deciding how much money to offer you by asking what you made at your last job. Under Assembly Bill 168, the salary history of job applicants can only be disclosed voluntarily. Supporters say the law could help women close the persistent gender pay gap.
Remember it’s always about increasing government control over the people—and these 10 new laws infringe our natural rights, interfere with our pursuit of happiness and prosperity and decrease freedom in what was once the freest state in the union.
The morons in the legislature have even managed to make a goat rope out of selling pot. In California. Supply, demand…wait, Whut?

Imagine what Trump could have accomplished without all of the hate and those trying to take him out?

Great article Peggy. Too bad so many citizens refuse to acknowledge the good news and rejoice in it. There’s no accounting for the reports from the Trump haters. All they watch are the tweets which are meaningless jabs in a language they understand…drama and outrage.
Accomplishments ???
1. Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court – Yer kidding? You can be pleased about a petulant misogynist (ghastly combination) on the Supreme Court of the United States. The rest of us are disgusted.
2. Confronting China – You mean commencing a totally inept trade war that is hampering OUR and China’s economy, spurring Apple to announce reduced earnings forecasts, cause they were kind’a counting on those economically enabled Chinese to buy their phones. Neither you nor The Donald have the wherewithal to think these things through.
3. Middle-Class Wages Rise – In my experience … this is a damned lie. Wages are still stagnant.
4. U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Deal – Smoke … new name on same agreement.
5. Moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem – Religiously bigoted and politically inflammatory move that will hasten Israel’s eventual demise.
6. Smashing the ISIS Caliphate and Exiting Syria. He’s got a lot of nerve taking credit for other peoples’ work. And if there should be nasty consequences to his precipitous exit from Syria, we will be rubbing your noses into them.
7. Increasing Minority Jobs – Bull. Employment is up, generally. Only a racist would make distinctions base on race. AND … what with the trade war and the rising deficit, the brakes are coming on … so any gloating is premature.
8. Holding the Line with Migrant Caravans – Smoke … and … bull. This existential threat to the nation seemingly evaporated directly after the election. Why are you such gullible fools?
9. Record American Oil Production – And this would, once again, be taking credit for other peoples’ work … a Trump specialty.

Donald Trump is completely transforming the Democrats:

The remaking of the Democratic Party was evident last week with the reaction to the decision to withdraw troops from Syria. There was a time when a sizable number of Democrats opposed undeclared wars and unending military campaigns. Now, they are appalled that Trump would not continue a war in one of the myriad countries with American troops engaged in combat operations. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called the withdrawal a “Christmas gift to Vladimir Putin,” while Tim Kaine, David Cicilline, and other Democrats called it “irresponsible” or “hasty.”

Great article by Turley. He’s the type of Democrat I’ve admired in the past. He made good points about the hypocritical democrat positions on the war under Trump but I appreciate his opinion of Dem reaction to oversight of the FBI and related investigations.
The only disagreement I have is his giving Trump the credit for this. Democrats have always been this way…they’re just a lot more up front and blatant about it now. I think many of them really believed they had achieved a permanent position of power. Trump’s election knocked them off their (covert) game. Now their radical agenda is on full display. They are not much different than the communist leaders in the countries they encourage to send their poor and criminal our way.
America is a ripe plum. The radical lefties in the world want to destroy her and way too many of them live right here in the USA.
I think Trump’s fighting back against the Dems’ attacks, instead of letting them win like Reps have done for decades, has exposed the progressive socialist the party has become. The Democrat party of JFK, Bobby, Turley, Dershowitz is gone, replaced with the radicals like Bernie, Warren, Beto, Harris, etc., etc. Only those in the Democrat party today are too young to remember the truth or old enough to support it because they believe America owes them something.

Have always considered myself a law-abiding citizen. Yet if I still lived in Taxifornia, I would have to decide if I would follow the moronic and restrictive new laws or whether I would be an active lawbreaker.
I would choose the latter.
