COVID-19 UPDATED INFORMATION

by Jack

According to the statistics gathered by worldlifexpectancy.com influenza and pneumonia account for the 3rd leading cause of death in 2019 at 3,177,244. Heart disease ranked #1, at about 8.5 million deaths, followed by stroke at about 6.25 million.

To put the current pandemic for Covids-19 aka “novel coronavirus” into perspective, in the first 4 months of 2020 there were 46,062 deaths worldwide out of 917,913 total cases reported. That is about a 5% mortality rate. However, this varies greatly from country to country, depending on the available healthcare and the prevention measures taken to mitigate the spread of the virus.

The most accepted forecast for coronavirus deaths in the USA for 2020 has a wide range between 100,000 and 200,000; with the highest risk for patients over 60 or those with underlying contributing factors.

Polling reflects that over 75% of Americans are concerned that we (USA) have overreacted with quarantines that are going to run too long causing unprecedented financial loss; effects that could last for many years.  Similar polling numbers believes that closing borders in a timely manner and a quarantine period up to 3 weeks were reasonable measures.

In an unexpected benefit from the contagion, 9-1-1 calls in the bay area are down by nearly 50%.  Fewer people on the street has led to fewer accidents, fewer crimes and so on.

At this time bay area fire departments are being used for COVIDS testing.  The testing is being done by skilled EMS volunteers working 6-7 day shifts.

The Political Divide: A recent poll showed more women than men were anxious about the growing outbreak, with 81% of women indicated they were “very concerned” or “concerned” about the spread of coronavirus, compared to 64% of men. Democrats were most likely to report concerns, with 82% indicating concern, compared to 75% of independents and 58% of Republicans.  In my opinion, this proves that democrats are more likely to be intimidated by a crisis and guided by emotions, rather than hard data and logic.

Note: The average life expectancy in the USA is 78.5 years.  The USA ranks 34th among nations. Japan ranks #1 at 84.5 years.

Peggy this is pretty incredible and disturbing as its presented. If this is 100% true, it would mean we are looking at one of the greatest deceptions ever concocted. If NY and or democrats are overselling this pandemic, in some scam to get political advantage, it is a low and dangerous game that could easily backfire.

      • Peggy says:

Follow the money Jack and the political power. These videos are real because the people recording them verify where they are. Plus, in NY there’s a 1,000 bed hospital ship with only 20 patients on it and Cuomo said yesterday he was going to go take/borrow respirators from other hospitals.

I believe there are full hospitals because I’ve seen interviews with exhausted nurses and doctors, what I’m starting to doubt is the magnitude of the crisis, and so are others. The models the scientist are using are mostly based on opinions of what could happen with very little facts to support their predictions. China lies and Sweden has very few tourist during the dead of winter when the sun doesn’t rise and the temp is zero. There’s just not enough information out there to base sound assumptions on. Even Dr. Fauci said in January this flu was going to be no big deal. And Dr. Brix has been walking back her numbers as of late.

I’m not saying this pandemic is not real, it is. I’m beginning to suspect some like Cuomo are jumping on the let’s see what I can do to profit from this. Cuomo doesn’t need three hour news briefings every day, 3M should be fined for selling mask to the highest bidder/price gouging, and if hospitals are submitting fraudulent claims they should be held responsible.

Instead of Pelosi assigning another to watchdog Trump’s every move she should have her committee chairs follow up on why the states didn’t do their jobs to prepare for a pandemic and national disaster per the CON, which mandates them to. It’s not the job of the federal gov’t to bail out states who chose to buy a now out of business solar plant instead of ventilators just a few years ago.

        New York’s Ventilator Rationing Plan:
“After learning that the state’s stockpile of medical equipment had 16,000 fewer ventilators than New Yorkers would need in a severe pandemic, Gov. Andrew Cuomo came to a fork in the road in 2015. He could have chosen to buy more ventilators. Instead, he asked his health commissioner, Howard Zucker to assemble a task force and draft rules for rationing the ventilators they already had.

That task force came up with rules that will be imposed when ventilators run short. Patients assigned a red code will have the highest access, and other patients will be assigned green, yellow or blue (the worst) depending on a “triage officer’s” decision. In truth, a death officer. Let’s not sugarcoat it. It won’t be up to your own doctor.

Cuomo could have purchased the additional 16,000 needed ventilators for $36,000 apiece or a total of $576 million in 2015. It’s a lot of money but less than the $750 million he threw away on a boondoggle “Buffalo Billion” solar panel factory. When it comes to state budget priorities, spending half a percent of the budget on ventilators is a no brainer.”

CON – Certificate of Need State Laws:
“Certificate of Need (CON) laws are state regulatory mechanisms for establishing or expanding health care facilities and services in a given area. In a state with a CON program, a state health planning agency must approve major capital expenditures for certain health care facilities. CON programs aim to control health care costs by restricting duplicative services and determining whether new capital expenditures meet a community need.”

“If NY and or democrats are overselling this pandemic”

A week ago Peggy was saying that Dems did not take the pandemic seriously enough and only Trump was doing so. It is surreal watching the right attempt to form a coherent narrative to rationalize Trump’s response to the virus with the reality.

  1. cherokee jack says:

I’ve been fascinated by statistics ever since I read Mark Twain’s opinion on the subject. The Wuhan flu has started me thinking about some probabilities of my survival again.
Statistically, I was supposed to die more than six years ago. Even if I lived in Japan I’d be dead by now.
Instead, I’ve been treated to a continuing sideshow that featured the trashing of California, the rebirth of racism under Obama, and the war on America led by characters like Hillary, Nancy, the MSM, etal.
Now a pandemic has everyone, either consciously or unconsciously, wondering which part of the curve they’re on. Maybe this will help. Statistically speaking, everyone who gets infected is going to die. Eventually.
Those who stay home, wash hands often, and never touch their faces are going to die. Of something. Someday.
In the meantime, I recommend spending as much time as possible finding the humor in the performance of all those folks out there, providing daily proof that Shakespeare’s Puck was right.
    “What fools these mortals be.”

    • Chris says:

“the rebirth of racism under Obama”

You mean like how racists like Donald Trump spread a racist conspiracy theory about how Obama wasn’t born in the U.S. even after he posted two legal birth certificates? Or how racists like Rush Limbaugh claimed that the Affordable Care Act was a form of “reparations?” I agree, racists did not react very well to the Obama presidency, which is why we now have a racist president who claimed that Jeb Bush has to like illegal immigrants because he has a Mexican wife, and that Mexican judges can’t fairly rule on fraud cases against him. Very good point.

      • cherokee jack says:

Thanks for your rehash of the old, worn out liberal talking points.
I remember when liberals (and commies) made fun of Joe McCarthy for finding a Communist under ever bed. He was on the right track, by the way. Now they’ve spread worse than Wuhan Flu ever could.
Liberals find a racist motive behind every sneeze and fart.
Try thinking for yourself sometime. It could set you free.

        • Chris says:

If you have a case for why the examples of racism I mentioned aren’t actually racist, you could try making it. But you know you have no such case.

Yes, some people see racism everywhere. And some people are just racist. The records of Trump and Rush, and many more right-wing figures I could name, place them squarely in the latter category. They have made a long career out of promoting fear against minorities and using racialized attacks to spread that fear. This is a fact,

Revising history to redeem a figure as universally reviled as Joe McCarthy is really not a good look. He was not “on the right track;” we have been through this on this blog, many times.

I’ll remind you, since it’s been a while: The far-right sources that have given you this idea have misrepresented the Venona papers to assert that McCarthy’s tactics were justified; in reality, the foremost expert on the Venona papers has rebutted this attempt to whitewash his crimes.

          https://tfn.org/rehabilitating-joseph-mccarthy/

While there were Communist spies in the US at this time–a fact denied by no one–most of McCarthy’s targets were innocent. He was a deranged conspiracy theorist and a thug who used his power to sic the government on innocent people, many simply for disagreeing with him. No conservative who cares about individual freedoms or small government should praise such a man. That you leapt to do so out of nowhere, in response to a completely unrelated topic, should make you question your conservative principles.

That said, it’s become clear to me under the Trump administration that there are two kinds of conservatives: those who genuinely believe in small government and individual freedoms, and those who simply want to use the power of government to hurt their political enemies. (Of course, the same is true of liberals as well.) Which type you fall into is demonstrated by which conservative figures you celebrate and which you deride.

Since the last update, RIVM received reports of 77 new COVID-19 patients. The total number of positive tested patients has risen to 265, of whom 3 patients have died. 144 patients were infected abroad. 74 patients are contacts of confirmed patients.

  3. Peggy says:

Wonder what impact the ObamaCare Medical Device tax had on governors like Cuomo back in 2015 to not buy ventilators and other medical supplies critical today? The 2.3% tax went into law in 2010 through 2016 where it was temporarily repealed until is was permanently removed Dec. 2019 by congress and Trump.

Medical Device Tax Is History After Trump Signs Repeal:
“Medical device makers feared a major hit to their bottom lines, research budgets and jobs if Congress didn’t end or at least shelve the tax before the end of the year. A report released earlier this month from the Tax Foundation shows a return of the medical device tax would “would result in a decline of 21,390 full-time equivalent jobs and a reduction in GDP of $1.7 billion.”
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucejapsen/2019/12/21/medical-device-tax-is-history-after-trump-signs-repeal/#6a18884f4ed4

Implications of the 2.3% Device Tax Associated with Obamacare:
“When questioned about the tax in a 2012 interview, President Obama stated: “The health care bill is going to provide those health care companies 30 million new customers… The idea is that when you have 30 million more people coming in, you’re going to make money, you can do a little more to help facilitate and make sure people are getting the healthcare they need.”

Obama’s statement was disputed by the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA), which considers the tax onerous. The association points out that the majority of innovation in the medical device industry comes from small manufacturers who work to develop the diagnostic tools and therapies of tomorrow. According to the MDMA: “If it is not repealed, this tax will stifle innovation, harm patient care and weaken the position of the United States as the global leader in medical device innovation…. No data or studies show that the costs of this ‘innovation tax’ will be offset due to an increased pool of insured beneficiaries receiving treatment.”

  4. RHT447 says:

Hmm. I’m getting the 401 error now as well. Fortunately, I saved the text–

“Covid-19 had us all fooled, but now we might have finally found its secret.

In the last 3–5 days, a mountain of anecdotal evidence has come out of NYC, Italy, Spain, etc. about COVID-19 and characteristics of patients who get seriously ill. It’s not only piling up but now leading to a general field-level consensus backed up by a few previously little-known studies that we’ve had it all wrong the whole time. Well, a few had some things eerily correct (cough Trump cough), especially with Hydroxychloroquine with Azithromicin, but we’ll get to that in a minute.

There is no ‘pneumonia’ nor ARDS. At least not the ARDS with established treatment protocols and procedures we’re familiar with. Ventilators are not only the wrong solution, but high pressure intubation can actually wind up causing more damage than without, not to mention complications from tracheal scarring and ulcers given the duration of intubation often required… They may still have a use in the immediate future for patients too far to bring back with this newfound knowledge, but moving forward a new treatment protocol needs to be established so we stop treating patients for the wrong disease.

The past 48 hours or so have seen a huge revelation: COVID-19 causes prolonged and progressive hypoxia (starving your body of oxygen) by binding to the heme groups in hemoglobin in your red blood cells. People are simply desaturating (losing o2 in their blood), and that’s what eventually leads to organ failures that kill them, not any form of ARDS or pneumonia. All the damage to the lungs you see in CT scans are from the release of oxidative iron from the hemes, this overwhelms the natural defenses against pulmonary oxidative stress and causes that nice, always-bilateral ground glass opacity in the lungs. Patients returning for re-hospitalization days or weeks after recovery suffering from apparent delayed post-hypoxic leukoencephalopathy strengthen the notion COVID-19 patients are suffering from hypoxia despite no signs of respiratory ‘tire out’ or fatigue.

Here’s the breakdown of the whole process, including some ELI5-level cliff notes. Much has been simplified just to keep it digestible and layman-friendly.

Your red blood cells carry oxygen from your lungs to all your organs and the rest of your body. Red blood cells can do this thanks to hemoglobin, which is a protein consisting of four “hemes”. Hemes have a special kind of iron ion, which is normally quite toxic in its free form, locked away in its center with a porphyrin acting as it’s ‘container’. In this way, the iron ion can be ‘caged’ and carried around safely by the hemoglobin, but used to bind to oxygen when it gets to your lungs.

When the red blood cell gets to the alveoli, or the little sacs in your lungs where all the gas exchange happens, that special little iron ion can flip between FE2+ and FE3+ states with electron exchange and bond to some oxygen, then it goes off on its little merry way to deliver o2 elsewhere.

Here’s where COVID-19 comes in. Its glycoproteins bond to the heme, and in doing so that special and toxic oxidative iron ion is “disassociated” (released). It’s basically let out of the cage and now freely roaming around on its own. This is bad for two reasons:

    1) Without the iron ion, hemoglobin can no longer bind to oxygen. Once all the hemoglobin is impaired, the red blood cell is essentially turned into a Freightliner truck cab with no trailer and no ability to store its cargo.. it is useless and just running around with COVID-19 virus attached to its porphyrin. All these useless trucks running around not delivering oxygen is what starts to lead to desaturation, or watching the patient’s spo2 levels drop. It is INCORRECT to assume traditional ARDS and in doing so, you’re treating the WRONG DISEASE. Think of it a lot like carbon monoxide poisoning, in which CO is bound to the hemoglobin, making it unable to carry oxygen. In those cases, ventilators aren’t treating the root cause; the patient’s lungs aren’t ‘tiring out’, they’re pumping just fine. The red blood cells just can’t carry o2, end of story. Only in this case, unlike CO poisoning in which eventually the CO can break off, the affected hemoglobin is permanently stripped of its ability to carry o2 because it has lost its iron ion. The body compensates for this lack of o2 carrying capacity and deliveries by having your kidneys release hormones like erythropoietin, which tell your bone marrow factories to ramp up production on new red blood cells with freshly made and fully functioning hemoglobin. This is the reason you find elevated hemoglobin and decreased blood oxygen saturation as one of the 3 primary indicators of whether the shit is about to hit the fan for a particular patient or not.

    2) That little iron ion, along with millions of its friends released from other hemes, are now floating through your blood freely. As I mentioned before, this type of iron ion is highly reactive and causes oxidative damage. It turns out that this happens to a limited extent naturally in our bodies and we have cleanup & defense mechanisms to keep the balance. The lungs, in particular, have 3 primary defenses to maintain “iron homeostasis”, 2 of which are in the alveoli, those little sacs in your lungs we talked about earlier. The first of the two are little macrophages that roam around and scavenge up any free radicals like this oxidative iron. The second is a lining on the walls (called the epithelial surface) which has a thin layer of fluid packed with high levels of antioxidant molecules.. things like abscorbic acid (AKA Vitamin C) among others. Well, this is usually good enough for naturally occurring rogue iron ions but with COVID-19 running rampant your body is now basically like a progressive state letting out all the prisoners out of the prisons… it’s just too much iron and it begins to overwhelm your lungs’ countermeasures, and thus begins the process of pulmonary oxidative stress. This leads to damage and inflammation, which leads to all that nasty stuff and damage you see in CT scans of COVID-19 patient lungs. Ever noticed how it’s always bilateral? (both lungs at the same time) Pneumonia rarely ever does that, but COVID-19 does… EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

    — — — — — — — — — — — — –

Once your body is now running out of control, with all your oxygen trucks running around without any freight, and tons of this toxic form of iron floating around in your bloodstream, other defenses kick in. While your lungs are busy with all this oxidative stress they can’t handle, and your organs are being starved of o2 without their constant stream of deliveries from red blood cell’s hemoglobin, and your liver is attempting to do its best to remove the iron and store it in its ‘iron vault’. Only its getting overwhelmed too. It’s starved for oxygen and fighting a losing battle from all your hemoglobin letting its iron free, and starts crying out “help, I’m taking damage!” by releasing an enzyme called alanine aminotransferase (ALT). BOOM, there is your second of 3 primary indicators of whether the shit is about to hit the fan for a particular patient or not.

Eventually, if the patient’s immune system doesn’t fight off the virus in time before their blood oxygen saturation drops too low, ventilator or no ventilator, organs start shutting down. No fuel, no work. The only way to even try to keep them going is max oxygen, even a hyperbaric chamber if one is available on 100% oxygen at multiple atmospheres of pressure, just to give what’s left of their functioning hemoglobin a chance to carry enough o2 to the organs and keep them alive. Yeah we don’t have nearly enough of those chambers, so some fresh red blood cells with normal hemoglobin in the form of a transfusion will have to do.

The core point being, treating patients with the iron ions stripped from their hemoglobin (rendering it abnormally nonfunctional) with ventilator intubation is futile, unless you’re just hoping the patient’s immune system will work its magic in time. The root of the illness needs to be addressed.

Best case scenario? Treatment regimen early, before symptoms progress too far. Hydroxychloroquine (more on that in a minute, I promise) with Azithromicin has shown fantastic, albeit critics keep mentioning ‘anecdotal’ to describe the mountain, promise and I’ll explain why it does so well next. But forget straight-up plasma with antibodies, that might work early but if the patient is too far gone they’ll need more. They’ll need all the blood: antibodies and red blood cells. No help in sending over a detachment of ammunition to a soldier already unconscious and bleeding out on the battlefield, you need to send that ammo along with some hemoglobin-stimulant-magic so that he can wake up and fire those shots at the enemy.
    The story with Hydroxychloroquine

All that hilariously misguided and counterproductive criticism the media piled on chloroquine (purely for political reasons) as a viable treatment will now go down as the biggest Fake News blunder to rule them all. The media actively engaged their activism to fight ‘bad orange man’ at the cost of thousands of lives. Shame on them.

How does chloroquine work? Same way as it does for malaria. You see, malaria is this little parasite that enters the red blood cells and starts eating hemoglobin as its food source. The reason chloroquine works for malaria is the same reason it works for COVID-19 — while not fully understood, it is suspected to bind to DNA and interfere with the ability to work magic on hemoglobin. The same mechanism that stops malaria from getting its hands on hemoglobin and gobbling it up seems to do the same to COVID-19 (essentially little snippets of DNA in an envelope) from binding to it. On top of that, Hydroxychloroquine (an advanced descendant of regular old chloroquine) lowers the pH which can interfere with the replication of the virus. Again, while the full details are not known, the entire premise of this potentially ‘game changing’ treatment is to prevent hemoglobin from being interfered with, whether due to malaria or COVID-19.

No longer can the media and armchair pseudo-physicians sit in their little ivory towers, proclaiming “DUR so stoopid, malaria is bacteria, COVID-19 is virus, anti-bacteria drug no work on virus!”. They never got the memo that a drug doesn’t need to directly act on the pathogen to be effective. Sometimes it’s enough just to stop it from doing what it does to hemoglobin, regardless of the means it uses to do so.

Anyway, enough of the rant. What’s the end result here? First, the ventilator emergency needs to be re-examined. If you’re putting a patient on a ventilator because they’re going into a coma and need mechanical breathing to stay alive, okay we get it. Give ’em time for their immune systems to pull through. But if they’re conscious, alert, compliant — keep them on O2. Max it if you have to. If you HAVE to inevitably ventilate, do it at low pressure but max O2. Don’t tear up their lungs with max PEEP, you’re doing more harm to the patient because you’re treating the wrong disease.

Ideally, some form of treatment needs to happen to:

    1. Inhibit viral growth and replication. Here plays CHQ+ZPAK+ZINC or other retroviral therapies being studies. Less virus, less hemoglobin losing its iron, less severity and damage.
    2. Therapies used for anyone with abnormal hemoglobin or malfunctioning red blood cells. Blood transfusions. Whatever, I don’t know the full breadth and scope because I’m not a physician. But think along those lines, and treat the real disease. If you’re thinking about giving them plasma with antibodies, maybe if they’re already in bad shape think again and give them BLOOD with antibodies, or at least blood followed by plasma with antibodies.
    3. Now that we know more about how this virus works and affects our bodies, a whole range of options should open up.
    4. Don’t trust China. China is ASSHOE. (disclaimer: not talking about the people, just talking about the regime). They covered this up and have caused all kinds of death and carnage, both literal and economic. The ripples of this pandemic will be felt for decades.

As an RA patient I took hydroxychloriquin for at least 15 years. It is an nsaid and after that length of daily use I had to stop for my stomach’s sake. The hype over its dangers are simply ridiculous.

I see Chris has learned nothing and still makes the same blatantly false accusations of racism.

Did anyone in the fake news media take note when Trump marked white supremacist groups As terrorists? Does it matter to Chris that minorities are recognizing Trump and his administration for uplifting and supporting the black and minority communities?
Fake news and fake education make Chris a very dull guy. It’s the same song regardless the evidence.

    • Pie Guevara says:

Review the plan. See if you agree. I’ll send you an email with the link.

    • Chris says:

Tina, saying that a person “has to like the Mexican illegals” because his wife is Mexican is racist. There’s simply no way around this. Saying that a judge can’t rule fairly on him because of his Mexican heritage is not only racist–it’s an acknowledgment of his own racism against Mexicans! And these are only a few examples of Trump’s long career of racialized attacks.

Pointing to the few minorities that support him when his supporters are overwhelmingly white and his approval ratings among minorities are overwhelmingly negative doesn’t change this, nor does the fact that his administration has correctly labeled some white supremacist groups as terrorists.

It doesn’t change that he has had numerous white supremacists in his administration such as Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller, who have openly said that the immigration policies they’ve pushed have been motivated by a desire to keep a white majority in America and stop racial demographic changes. Trump-boosters in the media such as Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, Ann Coulter, and Michelle Malkin (who, while a minority, now openly champions the most virulent of white supremacists on the alt-right) have also admitted as much.

While people had plenty of other reasons to vote for Trump, a major theme in his campaign was fear of Muslims and Mexicans. This administration represents the last gasps of a movement dedicated to preserving a white majority in America. We’ll see in November how long that movement can continue to use racial resentment to get elected, because demographics are going to change one way or another and at some point Republicans are going to have to abandon the tactics of racial resentment. Bobby Jindal warned of this in 2012, but he underestimated how successful Republicans had been at racial gerrymandering. If Trump wins again in 2020 without the popular vote, that will be a big victory for Republicans, but it will be another short-term win at the cost of alienating another generation of young and diverse voters.

      • Tina says:

People say things. There are plenty of examples of racist comments from people in both parties and in all segments of society!

        Your constant accusations are meaningless.

What a man does and how he treats others is more telling. Trumps life, as well as his term as president reflects Trumps true position and attitude. Ditto Mr Limbaugh.

        • Chris says:

People say things. There are plenty of examples of racist comments from people in both parties and in all segments of society!

The difference is that when people on my side make racist comments, I call them out on it. I don’t say “People say things.” And when it’s people on my side, you don’t say that, either.

What a man does and how he treats others is more telling. Trumps life, as well as his term as president reflects Trumps true position and attitude. Ditto Mr Limbaugh.

In what world are the comments I brought up not examples of how these two “treat others?” Do you think saying an opponent “has to like Mexican illegals because of his wife” is an example of treating people with respect? Both Trump and Rush treat people who disagree with them–even on minor issues–terribly. You know this.

  6. Peggy says:

Nice to see a democrat put politics aside to give credit where credit is due. Latest news is reporting a higher percentage of the black population is suffering from covid-19, because of specific health issues.

She appeared on the Laura Ingraham’s show last night and Tucker Carlson’s show tonight.

Michigan Dem lawmaker describes how Trump’s boosting of hydroxychloroquine ‘saved my life’:
“A Democratic Michigan state lawmaker has credited President Trump’s publicizing of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine with saving her life after her health “plummeted” when she contracted coronavirus.

State Rep. Karen Whitsett of Detroit told “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday that if it wasn’t for Trump pushing the drug through the Food and Drug Administration’s approval process for off-label use and touting it repeatedly during his daily press briefings, she may not have made it through the terrible contagion.”

    Some unintended consequences?

I am seeing more than a few express the opinion that one of the reasons that the lock downs have been so readily accepted, and the media’s is able to spread FUD (Fear, uncertainty, Doubt) far and wide, is that our society has been conditioned to be risk averse.

Some comments on home schooling from parents newly introduced–

SO, on that homeschooling by daydrinkers? Seems a lot more is gonna tossed out of the curriculum than has gotten tossed out of “laws and regs in the way.”

“Common core math? Bullshit. Let me show you how to really add, multiply, and divide. It don’t need no 14 step diagrammed *bleep*.”

“Is this supposed to be a history book or a fantasy novel? It’s the worst fiction I’ve ever read. Captain America does a better job on history than this!”

…My father has reported, in the course of replacing water heaters and fixing other emergencies, that he’s getting to hear a lot of angry women rant “Is this all your school is teaching you?”
…said angry women range from doctor’s wives to a single mom who waitresses at Waffle House. Lotta pissed off parents out there!

Rush has a great answer to help parents and their kids.

Let Us Help You Homeschool with Rush Revere

“RUSH: Now, earlier in the week we had a bunch of people call. They were expressing the challenge of being at home with their kids and can’t go outside or can’t go outside very often, and I offered some suggestions. It’s a great opportunity to teach discipline. Lord knows not enough of us have enough. It’s a great opportunity to teach discipline. It’s a great opportunity to teach your kids about this country.

You have 24/7 access to your kids. You have an opportunity here to wrest control of whatever poison they were being taught. You know, the Constitution of this country is woefully untaught. The founding of the country is woefully untaught. The story of the real Thanksgiving is not properly taught. Even the Great Depression and how we came out of it is not properly taught.

People are not taught that the Great Depression lasted 10 years longer than necessary because FDR used it to do exactly what Gavin Newsom is talking about: Advance a “progressive,” liberal agenda to empower the Democrat Party for 50 years, by creating nothing but as many dependents as he could out of the American population.

There’s a golden opportunity for those of you homeschooling. You’re now learning about it, how to do it. It’s frightening. It’s daunting. You’re getting a new appreciation for teaching. So here’s what we have done. Many of you have become home teachers now because your kids are home from school fulltime. And who knows how long that’s gonna be the case — and what kind of summer recess is there gonna be?

What kind of summer vacation is there gonna be? So I mentioned earlier that we were working on a page at RushRevere.com and RushLimbaugh.com to make available an opportunity to get free versions of the Rush Revere series. Kathryn and I would love to help with your at-home teaching efforts by offering free Adventures of Rush Revere series books to you while our supplies last. We always hold back supplies for things like this.”

Dr Brix revealed yesterday during the white house news conference that all deaths were being counted a Wuhan related. So even if one dies from a stroke, that goes into the Wuhan column.
    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/04/dr-birx-confirms-anyone-dies-coronavirus-regardless-underlying-health-condition-counted-covid-19-death-video/

And here is some supporting evidence of malfeasance: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/04/huge-mn-senator-dr-reveals-hhs-document-coaching-overcount-covid-19-cases-copy-document-video/

Looking more like the CDC credibility is just about equal to that of China and the W.H.O. . . . .

    • Chris says:

I explained this yesterday but my comment did not post for some reason. The CDC has always counted deaths this way. If someone has underlying conditions, gets the flu, then dies, this is counted as a flu death. This was also the methodology used for previous pandemics.

But the Gateway Pundit exists to conspiracize using half-truths. I’ve asked you before why you continue to trust an outlet that falsely named innocent people as mass shooters four separate times in a two-year period. You never answered. Would you like to now?

Even Snopes calls out the NYT for their fake news.

Snopes Gives NYT ‘Mostly False’ Rating Over Article About Trump And Hydroxychloroquine:

    • Post Scripts says:

Well, isn’t that interesting? Peggy according to Snopes research I own more stock in Sanofi than Donald Trump, in fact I own 200% more, imagine that? lol

      • Peggy says:

I cracked up when I heard libs were trying to say Trump was making big bucks off of a drug that cost only pennies a pill to buy. I was prescribed a similar malaria preventive drug when I got sick a couple of weeks ago. Fourteen pills cost me $3.87 at CVS. My insurance copay is $10 and $5 for generics. It’s the big pharma companies that don’t want these life saving drugs used and have the support of the dems.

As Pie pointed out we’ve gone from Russia, Russia, RUSSIA, Ukraine, Ukraine, UKRAINE to now China, China, CHINA as the dems latest attempt to take out Trump. They’ve proven already they’ll destroy individuals like Kavanaugh and their families. With only months left before the election it’s within the realm probability the dems would again try destroying Trump’s economy by shutting down the country and sending record high employment for ALL categories into devastating depression-level lows.

What pisses me off is dems are willing to let people die by stopping the use of these two drugs, that thousands of doctors say works, in another attempt to regain the WH and control both houses of congress.

This drug saved the life of a 96 year old man who thought is was taking his last breath. How many more lives could have been saved if the dems hadn’t fought its use? What would our economy be today, how many lifetime dreams would not have been destroyed and how many family members would not be burying their loved ones today if this life saving pill had been allowed to work.

Dr. Marc Siegel opens up about his father, 96, and his use of hydroxychloroquine:

    • Chris says:

The Snopes article actually confirms what the NYT reported. The NYT explicitly said that Trump’s stake in those companies was small, and most of the article is not about his stake in those companies. There is no “fake news” in the NYT article and the Snopes fact-check doesn’t claim there is. Interestingly, the Daily Caller piece does not even link to the Snopes article that it’s about! A critical reader would notice this and wonder why.

Here is the actual Snopes piece:

And the NYT article that the Daily Caller does link to:
