Trump Tests Positive for Covids

President Trump said Friday on Twitter that he and the first lady have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The stunning announcement came hours after the president said he and Mrs. Trump had begun “a quarantine process” after White House advisor Hope Hicks tested positive for the virus. Hicks, who serves as counselor to the president, is one of the president’s closest advisors.

In a tweet, the president said:

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

White House physician Sean Conley said in a memo dated Oct. 1 that he had received confirmation “this evening” that Trump and his wife Melania Trump had tested positive for the virus.

Conley said Trump will continue “carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering” from the virus.

Testing positive doesn’t mean you’ll be hospitized or wind up on a ventilator – although I expect we’ll hear hopes of that from the Looney Lefties……….

JS, so true, they’ve tested bottled water and it came up positive too. You just don’t know what to believe anymore, there’s so much false or misleading data out and contradicts what I am hearing from the frontline workers he say we DO NOT HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM.

I wonder why the CDC doesn’t differentiate between a patient dying from COVIDS or dying with COVIDS? Isn’t that an important distinction? And locally why does the health dept. block information on the ages of those allegedly dying with or from COVIDS? Were they 92 or 22? Inquiring minds want to know this stuff! Yesterday Assemblyman James Gallagher told us this county ought to be opened up, there is no compelling reason for continuing a lockdown.

Answer: Federal funds are picking up the tab. So all hospital, doctors, lab expenses, etc. are not billed to insurance companies if covid is on the death certificates. And the CDC uses the death certificates to track where the virus is and the rise and fall of cases.

Remember the two doctors from Sacramento whoes video about being forced to declare all death certificates indicate covid-19 cause of death. Video was removed, like so many others.

Since revenue can be generated by a COVID diagnosis with no proof other than clinical suspicion, hospitals are pressured into blaming deaths on COVID.

Since COVID on the death certificate generates money for the hospital it is unrealistic to think this won’t push numbers up.

I have seen firsthand doctors being pressured to hang a COVID diagnosis on a death certificate by a hospital.

Too bad we can’t trust numbers from our own CDC.”

Negative Unintended Consequences of Covid 19 on Death Certificates

This last week one of my dear patients age 55 passed away in the hospital from complications of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and acute renal failure

He had had COVID-19 two months before and was cured without sequelae.

He had multiple nasopharyngeal swabs that were negative in the three weeks prior to his final hospitalization

The intensivist put COVID-19 as his first diagnosis.

An unintended consequence of this was that the funeral home would not pick up the body and the family would not be able to have a proper funeral.

I had to intervene with the hospitalist and intensive care attending to change the cause of death down to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

And this way the patient was able to be picked up from the hospital morgue and get embalmed and a allowing his family and loved ones and friends to be able to have a proper final farewell .

Hence I agree with the author that COVID-19-related deaths do need to be reported to have good statistics about the pandemic….. But subsequent unrelated crisis of death and in those cases putting COVID-19 on the death certificate will preclude bereavement/mourning process for the family

The recovery rate for those infected with COVID19 is over 95% for most age groups.

That’s a much higher recovery rate than for those infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome . . . . . .
