As the University of Missouri is engulfed in turmoil by a large number of bratty students offended over racial incidents that might not have even happened, it’s important to note that race hoaxes are not uncommon on campuses throughout the country. Here are some of them:
1. Presence of KKK on Mizzou campus – Mizzou’s police department, which said that there wasn’t any KKK presence on campus at all. Then the student that started it, Payton Head, reluctantly admitted the whole thing was a hoax to stir up activity.
2. Fake racism, homophobia and anti-Semitism at Oberlin College
•Sighting of a KKK member!
•Fliers demeaning Martin Luther King, Jr.
•Flier on a student’s door that was demeaning to Black History Month and talked about “A WHITE WOMAN!” being sexually assaulted
•Poster of a giant Nazi flag
•Swastika on a glass door
The hoax came from two members of the Oberlin College Democrats. One of the students, Dylan Bleier, told the campus police, “I’m doing it as a joke to see the college overreact to it as they have with the other racial postings that have been posted on campus.” Not a very funny joke Dylan.
3. The KKK is Coming to Berkeley High!!! (Or Not)
At Berkeley High School, a teacher’s aide found a computer with a message warning that the KKK would be making an appearance on campus on December 9. Students, faculty and administrators marched in solidarity against the horrid white racism of Berkeley, shouting “Black power” and “Black Lives Matter.” But the KKK was never coming to Berkeley High. The warning of a possible KKK appearance was nothing more than a hoax started by an unidentified black student, who will not be expelled for the hoax.
4. White Only signs suddenly appears
The University of Buffalo – signs that said “White Only, Black Only” in front of restrooms and water fountains. Naturally, people were up in arms about campus “racism.” However, a black graduate student named Ashley Powell said that she hung them as part of an educational project. She was unapologetic…it was just her version of art.
6. Student sends racist text messages to himself
A black student running for student body president of a Jersey City high school received four racist texts. One of text reads, “We have NEVER and will NEVER have an (n-word) to lead our school.” Eh, it turns out that the student sent all the messages to himself. He lost the race for president, but did become vice president.
7. A Mizzou black student protests white privilege!
Last year his father made 6M, has an estimated net worth exceeding 22M. Only in America folks.
8. Two students target themselves with hate messages
Two students at Vasserman College claimed they were victims of a series of hate messages, including, “Avoid Being B***hes,” “F**k Niggers,” and “Hey Tranny. Know Your Place.”
One of the students was a transgender. These messages were discovered to be written by the students themselves, and they withdrew from the school.
Want to read more? Well, there’s plenty more in the news, and you need only look. One of these false racist incidents was close by too, in Redding, Ca. Remember the Nazi attack on the teacher? Turned out she did it to herself. Or more recently, those black churches in the South that were burned? A black guy was doing it. Look, I’m not saying every racist event is false, I’m only saying that too many people with a strong bias (chip on their shoulder) jump to conclusions a bit too quick in this country. We’ve seen them protesting and sometimes rioting, over bogus or unsubstantiated charges of police racism and one of the worst behind this is the Black Lies Matter group. They created a bogey-man out of national law enforcement over false murder charges and nobody in the media wants to produce the truth to counter their false claims. Yet, the truth in this case is only a statistic away, but journalists apparently aren’t interested in the truth, because if it bleeds it leads. The truth doesn’t sell papers nearly as well.
