Loved reading this, made me laugh hard.
I saw something the other day that they are set to ban lead ammo in California. I didn’t read the story, now I wish I had. My guess would be they are doing it under the guise of some environmental BS. I will bet it’s about stomping on the 2nd amendment.

Man if they are all still on the books it just goes to show how silly having a bunch of laws that nobody follows or even knows about is.

Any idea Jack how many gun owners are living in California? could be a big turnout come election time on this issue alone!

  3. Pie Guevara says:

    Regarding the piling of manure.

My ancestors (in Montana) learned well from their German immigrant neighbors. Their German neighbors piled manure (horse or otherwise) against the walls of their houses in fall.

The decaying manure, piled thick, would provide a self heating barrier to the intense, withering cold of Montana winters. When hearth fuel grew scare the outer crust of the driest, north wind blasted manure was used for fuel to heat the home and cook the meals.
