Are You Concerned About Possible Election Violence?

by Jack

Four days until the election and people are preparing like it’s the Purge coming.   The air is rife with fear and trepidation, businesses are boarding up their plate-glass windows, Walmart has taken the extreme precaution of removing all firearms and ammunition from their shelves.

If violence follows the election results, I can almost guarantee you that it will be coming from the far left.  Recent history bears this out to be 100% true.  In city after city, from the East Coast to the West Coast the violence, rioting, and looting were all from the far left.

When I go out, be it for a walk or to buy something [essential] from a government-approved-to-be-open retail store, I carry a .45 auto concealed under my shirt.  I am licensed to carry this firearm and I know when and how to use it.  Now some people might call me paranoid, but my standard response is,  why would I be paranoid?  I’m the one packing a loaded weapon.

Speaking of violence, the video above is the latest in daylight rioting and looting in Philly.  Remember when looters only attacked under the cover of darkness?  Not anymore and this is the City of Brotherly love!  But, it could be anywhere, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Oakland, etc.  Same scenarios happening over and over.  Watch as these looters beat each senseless over the stolen property, which would be almost comical if it weren’t so pathetic.

This is what life in America can become if there are no police around or if the mob doesn’t care about the police because they know they won’t do anything.  So what you see in the video is nothing more than animal behavior, its pure, unrestrained greed and anarchy.  And anyone who calls this a protest needs to have their head examined.

It’s been reported that some looters (I think 7 was the number) resorted to shooting each other in gunfights over who gets to steal the biggest HD TV and such, it’s crazy.   This is America, did you ever think it would come to this?

Donald Trump wanted to put an end to this stupidity when it first started and if he had done as he wanted we might not be seeing the violence in Philidelphia today.  But, he was rebuffed by the Sec. of Defense, even though he had no authority to do so.  “Defense Secretary Mark Esper publicly disagreed Wednesday with President Trump’s threatened use of the 1807 Insurrection Act to quell widespread unrest over the death of George Floyd, a black man who died…”

Remember this from just a couple of months ago?  Wash D.C. – “Unfortunately, the mayor did not provide early leadership to ensure peaceful protests and prevent riots and violence as demonstrated by the arson to St. John’s Church, defacing of national monuments and destruction of several COVID-19 testing sites in vulnerable communities, forcing the president to take necessary action to restore law and order,”  If it can happen in our nation’s capital, it can happen anywhere.

My advice now is you better prepare as best you can.  Because if it happens, if the violence does break out, the police will be so overwhelmed you can forget calling 9-1-1.   And don’t even think the military will be around to save you.  They (National Guard) are a reactive force of last resort.   Their deployment is measured in terms of days after the arson, rioting and looting have begun, the kind of intervention you will need is measured in seconds.

END THE FREAKING QUARANTINE

by Jack

I’ve got to ask the big question to you because nobody at all the usual government places that ought to know, can’t tell me!   Okay, first let me preface this question with some facts, totally irrefutable facts that anybody can verify:

To date, 2.5% of the US population has been infected with COVID-19.  Of that number, 99.7% survived.   So my question is, what are we trying to achieve, what do we consider an acceptable number of losses so we can resume living again?

There have been a number of terrible diseases, including the 1918 flu, that have found their way to our shores.  However, we didn’t ruin a third of America’s small businesses and plunge us trillions of dollars into debt for the sake of quarantine that 99.7% of those infected will survive!

But, it gets worse, and I quote next from Robert Redfield, director for the Center for Disease Control, “But there has been another cost that we’ve seen, particularly in high schools,” Redfield said. “We’re seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID.”

Our children are suffering needlessly because they need the social interaction that can only come from being outside the home.   Our entire population that is under the age of 60 and in reasonably good health is not considered at-risk.  Why are we continuing to quarantine the entire population and cause enormous damage to ourselves, that will last far beyond anything COVIDs can do to us?  Speaking purely from the statistics, it doesn’t make a lot of sense and that is one huge understatement.

We have let the bureaucrats have enormous control and in some cases, unconstitutional control over us, with no continuity in how they administer this lockdown.  Some of these people know nothing beyond their lab and they are making decisions that is destroying our economy.  Business A can stay open, but business B down the street, can’t, but why?  Why are we putting our money in a plastic tray at the drive-up window at McDonald’s and the girl inside takes the money out and gives us our food?  Hands are still touching money, hands are still touching my food…cripes, this is insane.   But, we go along with the program… why?  Why or why do we continue to do so much stupid stuff that will have zero impact on the spread of COVID’s?  Stupid is a worse killer than COVID’s.

Here’s a thought, end the quarantine now.  Those that want to self-quarantine can, those that don’t…go live life.  Enough already, take a little risk, live life before we have no life to live.

PS  My grandson caught COVIDS and he was over it in 8 days with no meds.  He said he’s felt worse with the flu.

Two Propositions Require a YES Vote, 20 & 22

by Jack

There are only two ballot propositions that the CA GOP suggests you vote yes on, Prop 20 and 22.  They have not taken a position on Prop 19, but I have.  Prop 19 would allow seniors to move and keep their old property tax rate.  It’s a small perk for seniors who may want to locate closer to their kids, for example.  Personally, I wish that the government would finally allow people age 70 and older to own their home without fear of confiscation because of property tax.

Vote NO on  14- 15 – 16 – 17 – 18 – 21 – 23 – 24 – 25

Vote YES on   20 – 22

Trump Has the Momentum to Win It

by Jack

As painful as it may have been,  the actions of ANTIFA, BLM, and rioters everywhere have caused people of conservative values to turn out in this election like they never have before.    This has resulted in a sudden, tectonic, shift in the polls, and by all counts, Trump is either closing the gap, closed the gap, or it’s too close to call.  This is now a historic turnaround race!   Trump is relentless, going from city to city in the final moments while Biden decided to take some time off and hang out in his basement.

I can’t blame Biden, I might be hiding too if I generated the scandals he did.  Key among them, his lying about his knowledge regarding his son Hunter’s dirty dealings with the Chinese, Burisma, and Russia may have surfaced a little too late to effect democrat voters that much, but it sure didn’t help Biden’s chances either!   In a close race like this one, it could wind up the deciding difference.  Biden is under enormous pressure.

For a time this summer it appeared this country was on the verge of anarchy and this angered and frightening many good, law-abiding folks on both sides of the fence.   As the research comes in now, it’s clear the democrats miscalculated, thinking this trouble would push people over to the great peacemaker, Joe Biden.  However, time has shown this was actually where they suffered their greatest setback.  Voters rejected their soft approach (appeasement) to the lawlessness and rioting that swept over the country.

The Mayor of Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Los Angeles created sanctuaries for criminals and opposed their own police officers.  Voters were outraged.  That violence and the appeasement that followed more than anything else, may have dealt the fatal blow to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.  Their failure to denounce violent criminal conduct (rioting) and calling it peaceful protesting was a huge mistake that played right into the hands of team Trump.  But, they doubled down and started this crazy talk about defunding police and that was beyond foolish.

While the Democrat politicians were talking about defunding the minorities that actually lived in crime-prone neighborhoods of Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, etc., were appalled, because they wanted more police, not less!   The silent majority agreed and were further angered by the left’s repeated attempts to vilify the police.   The enthusiasm for Trump became more and more visible, oftentimes it came in the form of counter-protesters standing up for common decency and traditional American values.

The message of greater taxation and more gun control should have been enough to sink Biden’s chances.  But, throw in the hot mess that goes with sanctuary cities, the libs call for open borders, the stirring up racism, the demonizing the police, and now this corruption scandal, well, I’m thinking Biden should be losing by a landslide!

We’re entering the home stretch and Trump is gaining on Biden-Harris, but it’s far from over, anything can still happen.  Every vote for Trump counts, even in California.

Biden Caught on Tape

Trump is Our Best Bet by Far

by Jack

It was Sunday morning and the trucks and motorcycles gathered in Chico’s KMart parking lot.   At 10 a.m. they went on a tour thru the downtown, flags were flying and it was all done for one massive effort, to show support for President Donald Trump.   Trump’s fans are making a commendable effort right before the election to boost his poll numbers.  Democrats on the other hand are showing very little enthusiasm for old Joe.

There’s never been a president like Trump and chances are, there will never be again.    He’s one of a kind.  Yes, he’s a flawed guy, he’s bombastic, willful, doesn’t listen to his advisers, etc.  However, his policies are exactly what America needs to recover from a real socialist threat and crippling pandemic.

We like Trump because he’s good for our economy.  He’s also good for the Supreme Court and the Constitution too.  But, Biden sure isn’t.   Trump calls it like he sees it and that honesty and transparency is so refreshing around Washington.  We’re not going to get that with Biden.

Trump’s always been given to being blunt, but I think he is always acting in the best interests of the country.  This puts Trump out in front of 99% of the professional candidates for his high office, with all their hidden agendas and hidden character flaws.  I love that part about Trump even though there are times I wished he would zip it.  I would rather have him saying what he means and even though sometimes it costs him (and us).

What is truly unfair and despicable in the 2020 election is the way Trump has been mistreated by the mainstream news media.  The media has been overly critical of Trump since he started to run for office and it’s only gotten worse.  Why?  Because he called them out as being stooges for the left and he’s right!   Trump made it clear he hates the bias reporting at CNN, ABC, NBC, and sometimes Fox News too.   I agree with him!  Professional politicians would never insult and alienate the news media, but that’s not how Trump operates.   Trump gambled that his voter-base would understand and agree with him and I think we do too.   However, the leftist media has created a division in this country not seen since 1860.

The news media’s disdain for Trump has grown to epic today.  CNN has dedicated its entire news team to finding creative ways of discrediting and sabotaging Trump’s every move.   They will regurgitate any salacious rumor and unsubstantiated story if it will damage Trump and that’s not honest reporting.   They’re leftists hacks.   I’ve never seen anything like this before, clearly, it’s not responsible journalism; it’s deceitful, corrupt, demagoguery.  Most of America finds today’s network new’s shameful and that may get Trump just enough votes to win.

If Trump can pull off this election it could push the far left into what they’ve been heading for all along, open violence to tear down America.  I hope not, but brace for it should Trump win.  If Biden wins, we may fare even worse.  It will be a slow death for the values we hold as traditional American patriots.

10-22-20 Presidential Debate by Peggy

by Peggy

During the pre-debate show on Fox Tony Bobulinski made a statement about his business dealings with the Biden family and China. He presented evidence and stated he was meeting with Senate committee members the next day. It was reported and varified by others that none of the other major news networks aired Bobulinski’s live disclosure. Here it is for you to decide who is telling the truth.

I agree neither party won big or lost voters. Trump scored on the economy by reminding people that he ran for president because of the mess Biden/Obama made out of it. Biden kept saying he would fix it all when he was president. Trump reminded everyone he didn’t fix it during the eight years he was VP or the 47 years he was in the Senate. Also, hear the internet blew up when Biden said no one lost their insurance under ObamaCare and they wouldn’t with BidenCare either. Anyone else remember Jonathan Gruber and Obama’s Lie of the Year award?

Trump also scored on the Black vote with all he’s done for them. Many hearing about it for the first time, since the press is 95+% negative toward him. And his positive attitude about the future, “We need to live with the virus.” vs Biden’s, “We’re entering a dark winter.”….. dying dying. Trump offered hope for the future and a life of getting back to normal. Biden said our future is years of living in our basements hiding away from the virus.

Fear is a means of control the dems use all the time. This morning the FDA announced it approved remdesivir for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. We are in a different place today than we were at the beginning of the year. People, like Trump, are getting sick today and recovering in a couple of days instead of dying after being kept alive for weeks on a ventilator.

10-22-20 Presidential Debate

by Jack

First off, to be fair we should judge Trump as a political amateur, so we should have expected Biden to keep him on the defensive and he did.   However, Trump made a much better effort to keep his cool this time, even though I had the feeling he was likely churning inside.

Trump threw a lot of jabs and I think I saw every one of them!  But, only about 30% were likely recognizable to the average voter.   The rest, well, let’s say you just had to informed about the issues to figure out what he was trying to say.  On the other hand, Biden kept his message simple.  Plus, he avoided being drawn into a discussion about his son Hunter or the pay-to-play money from China, Ukraine, and Russia.   Trump tried to get it in there and he pushed about as hard as possible.  But, Biden was prepared and all but ignored the bait.   Biden may be old, but he’s cagey.  He’s a slick, well-heeled politician who knows how to schmooze.

Regarding Trump’s attempt to get to Biden, there’s no question he (Joe Biden) is skirting right on the edge of serious trouble.   So far the mainstream media has ignored this corruption story, but if they are somehow forced into investigating or the FBI reveals what they have, Joe could be facing criminal charges.  It looks to me like VP Biden was paid access money via Hunter Biden and another time when he was Senator Biden.  This is a huge story that our corrupt media is choosing to ignore.

Back to the debate…I didn’t feel like there were any game-changing, gotcha moments, so Trump and Biden probably didn’t move voters too much one way or the other.  I supposed if you were a space alien knew nothing about either person, you might say Biden scored a slight edge over Trump because he (Biden) was a smooth talker.  Biden spoke at the average voter’s level and Trump didn’t.  He has a bad habit of not completely finishing a sentence before moving on to his next point.  His supporters can fill in the gaps, but your average voter might not.

What Biden said was BS, but it was clear and concise “voter pablum.”  He also didn’t appear to be threatening, Trump looked angry most of the time.  But, we are not space aliens and we all know what happens if Biden gets elected.  So, in that light, I just want to believe that Trump won it and I also want to believe the polling will improve before Nov.

VOTE YES on PROP 20

Proposition 20 would toughen California criminal penalties. Here’s how it works

By Andrew Sheeler and Jason Pohl, The Sacramento Bee  2 days ago
California voters are being called on to decide whether past ballot measures aimed at reducing incarceration statewide went too far.Proposition 20 would introduce tougher consequences for certain crimes, and block inmates convicted of certain offenses from getting early release.

Here’s what you need to know:

What is Prop. 20?

To understand Proposition 20, one first needs to recall Propositions 47 and 57.

California voters in 2014 approved Proposition 47, which lowered the penalty for certain theft-related crimes from felony to misdemeanor.

Then, in 2016, Californians voted for Proposition 57, which changed the state constitution to make it so that inmates convicted of non-violent felonies could become eligible for release after serving the term of their primary crime.

Now, in 2020, supporters of Proposition 20 seek to roll back some of the changes enacted by those previous ballot measures.

The ballot measure would turn several misdemeanor theft offenses into potential felonies, carrying the potential for a years-long sentence.

It also would prevent people incarcerated on certain offenses from earning early release for good behavior. In addition, parole boards would be required to consider a person’s entire criminal history, not just the offense for which they are incarcerated, when considering parole.

Finally, it would crack down on repeat probation violators by requiring probation officers to ask for a change in terms of supervision, meaning more possible jail time, in the event of a third such violation.

Who wants Prop. 20 to pass?

The ballot measure is supported by law enforcement groups, including the California Police Chiefs Association and the California District Attorneys Association, retail groups such as California Grocers Association, as well as some victims rights organizations, such as Crime Victims United of California.

“Really this is a lot about preventing victimization and making sure people are being held accountable,” said Citrus Heights Police Chief Ron Lawrence, the immediate past president of the California Police Chiefs Association

Lawrence said that while the criminal justice reform of the last decade was well-intended, it resulted in a rise in thefts in the state.

The Yes on Prop. 20 campaign cites California Department of Justice statistics that show a 30% increase in thefts since Prop. 47 made $950 the threshold for felony theft.

Lawrence argued that Prop. 20 will not put any more people in prison; people convicted under offenses made into felonies would be sentenced to county jail or drug treatment, not prison, he said.

The ballot measure, if passed, would keep some people in prison who might otherwise be able to get out early. But Lawrence said that this would be for people convicted of offenses such as human trafficking of a child or exploding a bomb to injure people.

Another proponent of Prop. 20 is Bishop Ron Allen, founder of the International Faith-Based Coalition, a group focused on drug use prevention, and a Sacramento-area pastor.

A recovering drug addict himself, Allen said that Proposition 20, by mandating drug treatment for certain cases, would bring help to those who otherwise wouldn’t seek it.
