With the news breaking that Obama has called for an increase of National Guard troops to be stationed near the Mexican American border by 1,200 men, I want to make sure everyone does not become less vigilant on what needs to be done to fix the current illegal immigration problem that America is facing. There are many aspects to the illegal alien troubles that we are confronted with today. I told you about the "Rape Trees" in the Sonoran Desert, and even shared a video news reported about them. Then I shared with you the disturbing pictures of the ecological disaster the illegals are wrecking upon the once beautiful Sonoran Desert. I have a few other angles that I am looking at the illegal immigrant problems, but today I would like to share with you the problems this illegal activity has caused the many ranchers who own property near the Mexican American border.
While the rest of the country listens to the debate about how to deal with the illegal immigration problem in America, the ranchers who live along our Southern border with Mexico have been left to fend for themselves for years. As recently as March of this year, rancher Rob Krentz and his dog were found shot to death on his ranch near one of his cattle watering holes
Even if the liberal MSM does not care about the rancher, I wonder why them and groups like PETA never made a big stink over the murdered dog. After all, even a prominent African American was crucified by the left for his misstreatment of dogs. Among the many crimes of the illegals that the ranchers dealing with on a daily basis, is the breaking and entering of their homes, barns, and other buildings, along with the theft of their personal vehicles and farming equipment. The loss of cattle, due to cattle rustling and because the cattle don't like people walking through, they will move to much and suffer weight loss. Then there is the destruction of fences, breaking of water pipelines. The water pipes get broken in two and it can be two or three days before they are discovered so all that precious water is being wasted. All this plus the drugs they are bring into the country for the drug lords. When you see one of these illegals with a backpack, chances are that backpack is stuffed with drugs, why else do you think they're littering the desert by throwing the packs away?
Every American has a right to protect his or her property and livelihood. That is all Rob Krentz was doing when he was senselessly gunned down by an illegal immigrant. What makes the murder of Rob Krentz even more disturbing however is the fact that he personally became a vocal critic of the border problems and even did interviews to highlight the problems. One was with PBS in 1999 and then in 2005 he did another interview with KOLD news about the crimes being committed on his ranch by illegal immigrants coming from Mexico. The authorities knew about the reports he made about the troubles, and still the federal government would not step up and protect him or other ranchers against the crimes being perpetrated upon them by the illegals coming across our Southern border.

While I do not think we should be using claymores to defend the border, I do understand why so many are to the point of wanting to use such extreme measures. The clarification came after the Mexican government urged Washington not to use the additional troops to go after illegal immigrants.

While I don't agree with they claymore idea either, I believe more drastic measures need to be taken towards this law infraction. It has been said many a time "one bad apple spoils the bunch," so not all of us are saying every illegal that comes into this country is a bad person, there are some that genuinely want a better life. But that is becoming the minority group.
This is a real problem, and many people are against the idea of punishing people for doing something that is clearly illegal. The last time I checked, When I was doing something "Illegal" it was a crime. When you say illegal immigrants, it should trigger that they are clearly committing a crime.

I don't think it's right that there are options for Spanish on business' phone lines, or the Spanish words on many product packages, or Spanish being spoken in schools. If you live here, you have to speak the language. Other cultures do, without complaining like the illegals. And I don't think that illegal women who have babies in the U.S. should be allowed to stay. Kick them out and give their children to Family Services; or if the child is younger than school age, have the women take the children with them. I've heard it said that illegals take jobs no American would want, but in this day and age, Americans are willing to take any job they could get. This is really impacting our economy. But what can we do about it? I wish we could come up with some answers.
Stop the blame game and and start writing government officials in an intelligent and reasonable manner so they will know how many serious minded voters are against illegal immigration.

The immigration issue is an easy fix, but it would be a hard choice for the politician to stand behind. All our next President has to do ( because we know the present one will not!) is levy ever increasing fines against ANYONE! found to be hiring illegals. This would mean more jobs for honest Americans, and, Illegals would not be able to support themselves so they may go back to thier country of origin and those "wanting" to come here wouldn't because they would know they wouldn't be able to get jobs. Any candidate willing to support AND Enforce this type of legislation should be seriously considered.

Only partially true.
That is because the biggest carrot comes from our government giving them the same financial, medical, educational benefits they give American citizens. The actual number of illegals working in America are almost a drop in the bucket compared to the number that are sitting on their butt collecting some sort of government assistance that they would never collect from their government in Mexico.
There was a time that most had jobs, but that was a probably back in the 70's and 80's before the courts ruled they could suck off the government tax payed tits.
So while we need to crack down on Americans hiring illegals we need to stop the flow of government aid to illegals here first.

I'm blessed enough to have someone come in and help me twice a month with my house cleaning chores the title is.... HOUSEKEEPER... yes I have 'hired' a housekeeper so I asked her are you legal? she was honest enough to tell me no and I let her go... I found someone who is here legally, and even tho I don't care for her work as much... at least she is not here without her papers... now the next step... I need to report her wages, and I have not done that yet... so I'm part of the problem and need to do what is 'right'

Nobody said people like Bush and McCain were blameless. But, if you want to talk about casting "partisan stones" then you should look to the current stonethrower in chief who ignores democratically elected senators, like the "new and improved and suddenly more Republican" Sen. McCain and Sen. Kyl. They had to hear about Obummer's plan to send 1200 National Guard troops from the media - like everyone else - even though they had just been at a luncheon with The Won. This is the MOST PARTISAN AND LEAST TRANSPARENT ADMINISTRATION IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

My experience with Republicans are they are lovers of money I don't know many Republicans to be real lovers of people like Jesus is. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Mammon in Greek means treasures, riches. I don't agree fully with either party and frankly it is getting annoying hearing about both parties. But just a FYI George Bush was not entirely against abortion either. He felt a woman can get an abortion for health reasons which brings us back to a choice. I am completely against abortion for any reason. So there for I don't agree with either party. But we can talk to each other about what we agree on and that is, illegal immigration is wrong and we need to do something about it. I hope I somewhat answered your question. I think a landowner has every right to protect their land...period. Myself, I don't want to kill anyone... but a good bunch of attack dogs around the property would certainly deter their efforts in trespassing.

Employers of illegals need to be identified, and fined to the maximum for also breaking the law. The really maddening thing is, that all this is by design to destroy the middle class, and replace it with a permanent underclass that looks to the government for it's sustenance. Chris, I agree with the majority of your statements. However I can not and will not agree with your statement of having no respect for our soldiers. These are people who are enlisting and being put to use in areas other than Iraq and Afghanistan. I have nothing but respect for someone who enlists during a conflict whether it is foreign or domestic. Who do you think responds to help in situations like hurricane disasters, mass floods, etc? Our National Guard does. Would you have no help for our own masses just so that we have no one to send over to a foreign conflict? I should sincerely hope not.
This is a drug war being burdened on the gateway states-AZ,TX,CA,NM, that feeds the nation and will continue until Mexico raises it's economic level and has some sort of welfare system. This is not a left verse right issue!! I am on the left and want the law to be enforced!! I have seen illegals work at both Republican and Democratic homes!! The Republican home of a former know deceased United States President. The name calling is just not effective in dealing with this issue. I came with my family with my green card, know a citizen for almost 50 years. Neither side has enforced the law!! Hope it will be enforced now.
I agree to a point, and that point would be I do not see you Democrat voters throwing out Democrats during the primary elections for Democrats who will enforce the borders like the Republican voters are. The Republicans are actually tossing out wimpy Republicans during the primary for candidates who will be tough on border security and be fiscally responsible.
